Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney visited Israel’s Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum while on a trip to Israel in 2007, The Times of Israel established Tuesday. He also visited the rocket-battered Gaza town of Sderot and surrounding area, during his 2011 trip to the country, a Romney campaign source said. After an inquiry from The Times of Israel, the Republican Jewish Coalition confirmed the Yad Vashem visit, and provided photographs. Romney toured the exhibit, and participated in a memorial ceremony. (Snip) Asked why the Republican candidate chose not to mention his own Yad Vashem visit when the subject of the

There is an old Yiddish proverb that translates to:

One chops the wood, the other does the grunting.

Class. Romney has been to Israel four times - three times on policy visits; the fourth for a family visit. Has travelled all over Israel, met with the people in Sideroth (in 2007, before Obie got there) and talked with them about the missile fire. Talked with entrepreneurs.

Didn't bring it up when Obie spouted off. Sly fox probably knew it would make the news a different way. Romney does not toot his own horn.

A teachable moment for brash, desperate Obie.

I heard O rattle off the cities he had visited, and I thought: 'Any serious tourist could say the same thing.' Does he not realize we know that??!!

That awful Debbie Wasserman Schultz was on some cable show debate night, apoplectic and insulted that Mitt Romney had not even mentioned Israel a single time , not a single time.
She said as.a Jewish woman she found this to be especially offensive.
She didn't find Obama throwing Israel under the bus these past four years offensive however.
IIRC , Mitt Romney mentioned Israel 14 times.
Obama was very uncomfortable talking about Israel
and rushed through naming the sites he visited .
He probably didn't want to offend his Muslim buddies.

President Announces Conversion to Judaism on Shalom TV

MAX RESNICK: Are you here because your support among Jews is cratering, sir?
OBAMA: Yes, Max. The trend accelerated when Romney spoke movingly the other night about his trip to Israel.
RESNICK: Short of declaring that you believe Israel had nothing to do with 9/11, how can you turn things around?
OBAMA: Did you know Louis Farrakhan recently called me ''the first Jewish president,'' Max? And yesterday, I ruled out a freeze on Jewish construction on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. And, and. ...
MICHELLE: Go ahead, tell him.
OBAMA: Um, I’ve changed my named to Barach [Baracchhk] Obauma and converted to Judaism, Max. Now I can play both the race and anti-Semite cards.
RESNICK: But when ... where?
OBAUMA: Last winter, At Bed n’ Beth El, an African-American Reform synagogue on Chicago’s South Side. Rabbi Ezekiel Okombo agreed to fast-track my conversion. I chose ''Reform'' rather than ''Orthodox'' so I wouldn't have to give up my Saturday golf.
MICHELLE: Baracchhk commemorated Passover this year by sneaking away to Arizona’s Dunes Resort and playing 40 holes in the desert, straight through.
OBAUMA: Rabbi Okombo accepted without question a certified copy of my Certificate of Circumcision.
MICHELLE: In his second term, Baracchhk will focus like a laser beam on the real threat to Jews: bible-thumping Evangelicals.
RESNICK: Would you come to Israel’s aid in a crisis, Mr. President?
OBAUMA: Absolutely. American warships will brook no interference when they pick up Israelis Iran has driven into the sea. And I'll guarantee refugees of the coming Israeli Diaspora right of return to Brooklyn.
RESNICK: Thanks for coming on, sir.
OBAUMA: Inshallah, Max. Now we’re off to CAIR TV to. ...
MICHELLE: Say ''Shalom, Max,'' Baracchhk.

When I watched the third debate -- I saw the "fixer" -- President Romney -- working his game plan....

He can clean up the mess in Washington. May God give him strength and courage.....

Mitt Romney, being the class-individual he is, has no need to brag about anything he does because, unlike the empty-suit-"president", he KNOWS who HE is. It took awhile but the rest of the Country has figured out who Mitt Romney is too and that's not good for the obamabot. BTW, Debbie blabbermouth schlitz is brain-addled. Seems those little cork-screw-curls coming out of her large head must have passed through her pea-brain. Bless her little black heart!

Romney would not enumerate his good works because if he did he'd have no time to do anything else. This is a good, good man and he's driving the Chicago mud-throwers crazy.

But did Romney need to be reminded about the Holocaust? Obama said that is why he went. Seems they don’t teach much about the Holocaust in Muslim schools, apparently from Obama preformance's at the debates they don't teach much of anything in those schools.

Obama: “I went to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum there, to remind myself [...]"

And again, it's all about Obama.

I went to the local Holocaust museum to show the world I stand with the Jews and support them in their plight as the world again spirals towards another holocaust. My visit was all about those who suffered and hoping to block future suffering.

But not old Barry. He's there to show he's enlightened.

Isn't it so much cooler that info this comes from somewhere other than Romney's own mouth?

We are very weary of a president who begins every sentence with "I."

I do wish Romney had mentioned the four visits at various times, though. Just slipped it in. Does give credence to the word I heard that he was not feeling well. If he does this well when 'off his game', good hands indeed!

It is truly hard to understand why any Jew, or Catholic for that matter, still would support Obama. For the President of the United States to have never made a state visit to our only true ally in the Middle East boggle is abhorrent. Oh, and Obama mandating Catholic institutions to provide free birth control. Any Catholic worth their salt wouldn't vote for Obama.

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

CNN’s Peter Hamby reported that Mitt Romney‘s internal polling showed President Obama leading in Ohio by five percentage points.Per Hamby’s post: The number represented a sharp final bump for Obama in Ohio, a race that had essentially been a tied race through much of the previous week, according to the campaign’s daily tracking. The Obama and Romney campaigns may be gearing up for a very late night, with one Obama campaign adviser predicting that in Florida alone, "they'll be counting until 2 a.m." The Obama adviser said signs suggest the race is quite tight, though the campaign claimed to be "holding strong" in key battlegrounds like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The adviser also said turnout among black voters in Virginia was better than expected, suggesting that could be a problem for Mitt Romney. Republican operatives in Virginia, though, predicted a razor-thin victory for their candidate in the state.

Washington - Early returns on Tuesday in what is anticipated to be a dead even presidential election contained no surprises, as CNN projected President Barack Obama will win his home state of Illinois and eight other races while Republican challenger Mitt Romney will win nine states. All races called so far went as expected after the roller-coaster ride of an election campaign that was buffeted by a superstorm and missteps on both sides. Obama and Romney ran dead even in final polls that hinted at a result rivaling some of the closest presidential elections in history, reflecting the deep political

A week after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, a majority of voters said President Barack Obama’s response to the crisis wasn’t a factor in their vote, according to early exit polls. Fifty-five percent of those surveyed, per CBS News’ early exit polling released by radio station WKZO in Kalamazoo, Mich., said Obama’s handling of the storm was a minor factor in their vote or wasn’t a factor at all. Twenty-six percent named Sandy as an “important” factor, and 15 percent said it was the “most important” factor in their decision.

Mitt Romney is leading among independents in both Ohio and Virginia, early exit polls show. In Ohio, the former Massachusetts governor takes 56 percent of self-identified independents, compared with 40 percent for President Barack Obama. That’s a huge decrease for Obama from 2008, when the exit polls found him winning independents in Ohio by 12 points, 52 percent to 44 percent for John McCain. The numbers are similar but slightly tighter in Virginia: Romney takes 53 percent of independents there, according to ABC News exit polls, a 12-point lead over Obama. In 2008, Obama won independents in the state by

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?
