| As President Obama and Mitt Romney faced off in their final debate about foreign policy, two of America’s most experienced global politicians, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her husband former President Bill Clinton, traveled on a one-day trip to Haiti. The purpose of the trip was philanthropic, but the couple left a little room for romance, reminiscing about the last time they were in the country together for their honeymoon more than 37 years ago.(snip)When it was Secretary Clinton’s turn to speak, she also told the crowd that the she and her husband “fell in love” with Haiti

The state department is in disarray, the bodies of the four americans killed because the obama administration chose not to protect them, just buried, and in the midst of this mess, hillary is on a jaunt with Bill?
And - do you people believe that they honeymooned 37 years ago in haiti? Sounds like a crock to me.

Anybody who has been there will tell you that the place is far from romantic or even pleasant. Who on earth in their right mind would ever honeymoon in Haiti? Methinks they probably stayed in the Dominican Republic and border crossed for photo ops amongst the poor. By the way - - wasn't Papa Doc running the show around that time?

My brother was just in Haiti too, but wasn't living it up in a lavish resort. He was there assisting a medical team to provide care for people in the mountains.
Haiti is one of the poorest nations in the world. The Klintons couldn't have picked a better example of the privileged few vs undeserving masses. maybe they could donate some more of their used underwear for a tax write-off.

If Haiti was miserable at the time, that's probably why they liked it so much. Liberals love looking down on the little people who have less than they have. They probably felt quite superior to all those dark people and I'm sure they treated them like slaves. Liberals are the racist, greedy, power hungry, selfish, self centered, egotistical, rape and pillage devils they project others to be. Share the wealth to them means they get more of our stuff and once they get it, they share their wealth with no one.

They built a house a few years ago in the Dominican Republic, right next to some designer, maybe Ralph Lauren. Anyway, I'm sure they did it on our dime - took a vacay, but crossed over into Haiti for an afternoon photo-op, pretending to do some business so that we'd pay for it.

The previous story that they went to Mexico on their honeymoon accompanied by the Rodham family is inoperative then? Quote from People mag, Dec. 14, 1992: In 1975, when the Clintons got married, says Hugh, "Bill and Hillary didn't have time to take a real honeymoon, and then my mom came up with the idea of going to Mexico. We got a special rate, and we all went down together." Bill and Hillary, Tony and Hugh, Mom and Dad. "We had a marvelous time," says Tony. "Acapulco for 10 days."

First lady Michelle Obama hung out with a "big time star" and jammed to the Godfather of Soul, but brought a serious message to students at a once-troubled Washington elementary school Friday.(snip)The first lady toured a pre-K classroom and a fifth grade arts class during her visit. In the pre-K class, she joined the four and five-year-olds in a game where they dance, and freeze in positions shown on flash cards when the music stops. She spent about 15 minutes in the class, dancing to James Brown´s "Gonna Have Funky Good Time".

The president may have forgotten something as he boarded Marine One this morning. On his way to the U.S. Naval Academy graduation ceremony on Annapolis, Md., President Obama didn’t return the salute of the marine standing guard at the door of Marine One, as he climbed the steps to the helicopter cabin. Obama soon ducked his head out, waved to the pilot, and jaunted back down the stairs to address the marine, shaking his hand. In the short video clip, one can’t hear the two men talking, so it’s unclear what exactly was said.

Put aside the politics, and the question of who-knew-what-when. There are two policy problems highlighted by the controversies at the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice. The first is the growth of 501(c)(4) groups into vehicles for anonymous and unlimited political spending. The second is the Obama administration’s overzealous prosecution of leaks. Unfortunately, for those who would like to see these policy problems resolved, the wrong party is angry about them and the wrong party is complacent.

She had to endure the public humiliation of his sexting scandal, but now it turns out that Anthony Weiner’s wife was the driving force behind his comeback. Huma Abedin put her feelings of betrayal aside and backed her husband to run for mayor of New York in this year’s election. She has also been working her close connections to the Clinton family to get Mr Weiner access to wealthy and powerful donors who he so badly needs. Having been frozen out of politics when he quit his Congressional seat, Mr Weiner is now effectively relying on his wife

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.
