Rom’s blow for leadership
staggers Comeback Kid

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

It’s the future, stupid. If the test of last night’s showdown is whether President Obama was more aggressive and energetic than he was in the first debate, then he wins the Comeback Kid award. But if the standard is who is more focused and better prepared to create jobs and improve the American economy in the next four years, then the winner was Mitt Romney. He looks and sounds increasingly like a man who is ready to take on the enormous challenges of being president.

Debate prep by Candy Crowley and assistance during the debate, by Candy Crowley! Odd are he had the questions and the order they would be asked. The Libya question / response was choreographed with her in advance. This guy has been enabled all his life - it will be a great fall from power. Watch out for hundreds of executive orders between Nov. 7 and January 19!

Agree, having the transcript of Obama's Rose Garden speech is very suspicious..Obama said "read the transcript, read the transcript"..he KNEW in advance.
Seeing Obama in action, following seeing Biden in action convinces me that democrats made it impossible for any sort of bi-partisan work in Congress. They are "my way or the highway"..something that started with Pelosi and will end with Obama the Emperor's exit from office.

According to Pizza the Hutt's on explanation after the debate she claims to have studied up on Libya in her debate prep in anticipation of a question. However, regardless of what the truth is she looked like (and is) a partisan hack people will be talking about this for days. Another exploding cigar!

My goodness! First the New York Observer and now the New York Post acknowledging Romney's performance. Feels like something is in the air.

Romney wins every time he gets to pound Obama's woeful record to millions of Americans. You get people identifying with the person who is telling them what they know is true for them. It is powerful stuff and Obama has spent a whole lot of time and effort trying to distract. Hopefully it will not work.

Glenn Beck delivered the keynote address at this year’s NRA convention in Houston, Texas, yesterday. The radio and TV host began broadcasting live from Houston Friday, offering up his own conspiracy theory about the previous day’s Houston airport suicide. “We have to admit two things,” Beck told the crowd. “That weapons will always find their way into the hands of bad people, always…but we must declare this: that guns must remain in the hands of good people.”

Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt penned a moving post to his Facebook page Monday night in response to the Boston Marathon bombings that killed three and injured at least 150 people. Oswalt’s touching words immediately went viral. He opened his post bluntly. “Boston. F***ing horrible,” he wrote. “I remember, when 9/11 went down, my reaction was, ‘Well, I’ve had it with humanity.’” He continued, “But I was wrong. I don’t know what’s going to be revealed to be behind all of this mayhem. One human insect or a poisonous mass of broken sociopaths.”

"The bigger the baby, the more he charged." That was abortionist Kermit Gosnell´s pricing plan. So when one woman came to him about seven or eight months pregnant, Gosnell charged her $2,500, according to the grand jury report. "Sue," as the grand jury report calls the mother, came to Gosnell´s gory abortion clinic at 9 in the morning. Gosnell´s staff induced labor. At 11 p.m., Sue finally gave birth to her son. Gosnell´s assistant Kareema Cross testified that the boy was 18 or 19 inches long, "nearly the size of her own 6 pound, 6 ounce, newborn daughter."

Ted Cruz rocks CPAC: Consitutional

There were high expectations for Sen. Ted Cruz´s keynote address at CPAC 2013, and he delivered. As a young, passionate Hispanic who happens to be one of the most brilliant and accomplished constitutional experts and Supreme Court lawyers in the U.S. Senate in over half a century, Cruz poses a clear frustration for the left—and some in the Republican establishment as well. Cruz was a rock star at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Whenever anyone mentioned him in their remarks, the utterance was met with applause.

On Wednesday night, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) electrified the crowd at the Coalitions for America’s Weyrich Awards Dinner, named after founder Paul Weyrich. He led off his speech with a dismissive reference to Senator John McCain’s characterization of him as a “wacko bird.” Looking at the crowd, Cruz said, “Birds of a feather flock together.” Cruz led off with a full-on critique of the President’s public relations blitz over sequestration. “2.4 percent cuts were made from your meals,” he joked. He referenced the “emaciated face” of conservative megadonor Foster Friess.

U.S. Catholics who dreamed of an American pope got their wish — in a way — on Wednesday. A South American. It was Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, archbishop of Buenos Aires, who emerged from the conclave as Pope Francis. Some U.S. church scholars were thrilled, others cautious, and at least one was critical of another aging pope who may be unwilling or unable to make crucial changes in the church. Here is a pope who has contended with all the issues of the modern West — gay marriage, abortion, contraception, women´s rights,

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”
