WALTHAM, Mass. — Ann Romney will visit the women of ABC’s “The View” solo Thursday, her husband no longer available to appear on the show he once referred to as “high risk.” Co-host Barbara Walters announced on the show this morning that she was told over the weekend Mitt Romney could no longer make the appearance. “Governor Romney was supposed to be on with us this Thursday with Ann Romney,” Walters said. “We were looking forward to it. Over the weekend, his people have said that he had scheduling problems, and would not be coming on with us, nor

Like GWB in the wake of the Clinton/Rodham crime spree, Romney seems poised to "Restore honor and dignity to the White House".

forked-tongued, serpent-tongued, dumb-tongued, etc... There's not really a sharp-tongued one there because sharp would imply some level of comprehension.

Oh, boo hoo. The high the crones on that pathetic "show" got from their dear Leader's last appearance will just have to last them through the Election. Mitt Romney doesn't have to put up with them. Good for him! After their hero, obama loses in November, he'll have plenty of time to sit on the couch with them and be "eye candy". Adults will soon be moving into the W.H.! Hallelujah!

Good, makes room for another Rudy appearance. What do you say, Joy? LOL, it was entertaining to watch the stifling frustration mount in all but Elizabeth as Rudy smacked down every prepared 'hard' question they had for him. Hospital closures, etc. He schooled them to the point where they actually were silent and he LAUGHED at them as he did it. The trick is to go on the offensive and turn it around on them. Rudy had the facts and the understanding of issues they only had DNC talking points on, so it was a short battle of wits.

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies awarded about $415,000 in contracts to a license plate-tracking company before Homeland Security leaders dropped a plan for similar work amid privacy complaints. Federal offices such as the Forest Service and the U.S. Air Force´s Air Combat Command chose Livermore, Calif.-based Vigilant Solutions to provide access to license plate databases or tools used to collect plate information, according to government procurement records compiled by Bloomberg. Vigilant, a closely held company, has received such work since 2009. In February, Jeh Johnson, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security

WASHINGTON— A Western official says the United States is considering deploying about 150 soldiers for military exercises to begin in Poland and Estonia in the next few weeks. The exercises would follow Russia´s buildup of forces near its border with Ukraine and its annexation last month of Ukraine´s Crimean Peninsula. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said earlier this week that the U.S. is looking for ways to reassure its NATO allies of its strong commitment to collective defense. The Western official says ground exercises in Poland and Estonia would last about two weeks but that such exercises would continue on a

Bunkersville, Nevada — Cliven Bundy’s ranch, recently the site of a tense stand-off that started over two weeks ago between the federal government and the Bundy family, had morphed into a good old-fashioned family picnic complete with live country music, hamburgers, and hotdogs Friday. A week after the Bureau of Land Management’s armed force left Bunkersville, Bundy and his supporters continue to make the family’s case relating to Bundy’s right to graze his cattle on public land his family has been on for many years. Bundy told Breitbart News the only communication he has received from the BLM recently has been

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game.
