Mitt Romney Cancels
Appearance On The View,
Reports Barbara Walters

Mediaite, by Andrew Kirell

Original Article

On today’s edition of The View host Barbara Walters announced that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney canceled his appearance on the show for this Thursday. According to Walters, Romney and his wife Ann had scheduled an appearance on the show last month. But now a “scheduling conflict” makes it impossible for the former Massachusetts Governor to join his wife on the couch this week. As Walter described it: “There are some people who favor the obamas, because they have have been on the program separately and together. Governor Romney

Comments:
Good. He has better things to do rather than waste time with those hateful leftist hags, with the exception of Elizabeth Hasselbeck. I can't see any way that this would have been beneficial to him. Those fools aren't going to like him anyway.

As the only grown-up he should stick to forums that require an IQ of over 90 to watch.

I cannot imagine Mitt and Ann Romney having to sit on that couch and politely refrain from answering sarcastic, snide questions from the terminally brainless with anything more than a smile.

Good move, Governor.

If he were behind and needed to do everything possible in the way of hail Mary to try to sway some more votes, The View might make sense. Being ahead, its all risk and very little reward.

FTA.......There are some people who favor the obamas, because they have have been on the program separately and together.

Let me tell you something Babs..you and your flock of old hens are not king makers..I also think he might just be a little reluctant to go on a show with a confessed adulteress. that would be YOU! So get over your self..

Ah, #6 .... but her partner in adultry was a black senator, so that made her a hero of sorts to a certain group of people. That he was married and that her involvement with him hurt a lot of innocent people was of no consequence to Barbara.
.... For you ladies who have wondered about Barbara's character, just think 'other woman.'

As for Mitt, I am delighted he can find no time to be tossed around by a bunch of vacant-minded hateful cats, with the exception of one 'lady.'

His supporters don't watch brain-rot TV. there would be no up side to going there. They are trying to make an appearance with them mandatory because the Obamas show up there. Stop the dumbing down of the American Presidency. it's not a joke, so don't play the fool with fools.

Whoopie Goldberg would have acted like the pig that she aspires to be. She cusses a lot and tries to shout down those with whom she disagrees.

There is no upside at all in going on that show. Romney will get more votes from cancelling his appearance than he would have gotten if he went on the show.

Bawbra sounds soooo sincere when she says she weally wanted Mitt Womney on her show.

Stay above the snarks like that bunch.

With Romney having gained so much ground with women voters since debate 1, he is wise to avoid this snare. Doubtful any good could come from it and possible that much harm could, given the kind of intellect that hangs on every word from Babwa and Whoopi and the hosts mindless clinging to popular media memes with little regard for the truth.

Really appalling is the attempt at legitimization by what are basically lightweight talk shows and comedians looking to improve their ratings and media hype by embarrassing high level public figures and bringing them down to their level. Letterman, Leno, Kimmel, SNL, The View, Jon Stewart and the rest.

The Obamas are perfect stooges. At core they are celebrity wannabes who don't care how they get that celebrity.

It would have been alot smarter not to book an appearance in the first place. The blogs are already filling with "If Mitt is afraid of Whoopi how is he going to face Al Queda?". He gave them this line of attack.

Thank heavens. It is nothing less than demeaning for our next President to even consider stepping down to dignify these awful women as though they matter. They're disgusting, repulsive and bent only on destroying anyone not in synch with their sick agenda. It is more than fitting that jug-ears and his double wide wife appear. They have all the disgraceful qualifications needed to fit right in. I'm only sorry that Ann Romney is appearing but can understand her wishing to stem the media backlash if they both canceled. Just the thought of sitting on that couch with those women...pew. I'd want a shower.

Obama has made a Jacka** of himself parading around to talk shows and hip-hop radio programs, when there are serious matters to deal with.

I dunno...maybe he could have won over a few Honey Boo Boo votes. But I am sure that any other engagement scheduled would have been much more important.

The measure, which was also called for by the 9/11 Commission in the wake of the 2001 terrorist attacks, would establish a biometric exit-entry system. The immigration reform bill drawn up by the Senate Gang of 8 would boost the economy and lower the deficit, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says in a report out today. NEW YORK — The New York Police Department´s widespread spying programs directed at Muslims have undermined free worship by innocent people and should be declared unconstitutional, religious leaders and civil rights advocates said Tuesday after the filing of a federal lawsuit. Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
