HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher says he’s “consistently pro-death” – and “not one of those people who thinks all life is precious.” Even dogs can create life, he said in an Oct. 7 interview on satellite radio. Maher explained his views on life and death when Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist and host of StarTalk Radio, raised the death penalty. “You support the death penalty, according to my notes,” Tyson said. “Isn’t it largely Republican? They may not have birthed the idea, but?” “Yeah, I guess so,” Maher said. “I mean I have a

Maybe Maher is just voicing what most on the left will never admit to. After all they seem to love the Muslim death cult, but they always say it's based on their belief in religious freedom. Riiiight! They like the jihadis because their antics will eventually lead to a huge reduction in the surplus population.

Apparently alcohol causes mental problems as well as liver damage.

Now just thing - if these socialists were completely in control - who they would deem to be worthy of death. That's right... everyone who either doesn't agree with them or who stands in their way.

Socialism... Just a more palatable form of Communism. Communism has caused the death of more human beings than anything else other than old age.

Bill Maher may be evidence that this is true.

Do you not think this is the true perspective of most, if not all, totalitarian socialist types? Look at all of the most infamous socialist leaders in history, and they all thought nothing of the violent deaths of tens of millions of people. Maher's opinion is the norm for the left, and we should not be surprised by his idea. BTW, these words are not a mere attempt at increasing audience size for his TV gig; he really believes this.

One can be ugly - frighteningly ugly acutally, say idiotic, non-sensible things, tell ridiculous fairytales, believe in god-like, purplelipped creatures that pretend to be president AND still have people pay money to listen and laugh with you! Capitalism is really one of a kind and truly wonderful.

Well, I don't disagree that he is evidence of life that isn't very precious. Seriously, this is how a lot of "progressives" think. If there is no God and mankind just evolved out of rocks and the ether, then human life is no more intrinsically valuable than a cow's or a pig's life. Maybe less so, since cows and pigs provide food.

Have you noticed how many Lefty-inspired movies portray massive deaths of the human population. It is like some kind of dream.

There was that creepy remake of "When the earth stood still" where the alien's plan to thin down the population came from neutralizing all electricity.

Then there was that other "nature strikes back" film called "The Happening" where mother nature outputs freons or something that causes Humans to commit suicide.

These kinds of dreams just seem to support Ayn Rand's view that Romantic Leftists are really self-destructive NULL-ists.

Sending scores of armed agents along with helicopters and dogs to confront an elderly Nevada rancher over grazing fees may seem like overkill, but critics say it’s not inconsistent with the federal government’s recent approach to environmental enforcement. The simmering truce between the Bundys and the Bureau of Land Management comes after high-profile raids last year by armed federal agents on small-time gold miners in tiny Chicken, Alaska, and guitar makers at the Gibson Guitar facilities in Tennessee. That doesn’t include more subtle threats, such as recent efforts by the Obama administration to raise grazing fees or pressure

Rep. Joe Garcia (D-Fla.) is among the Democrats pressing Congress to take up immigration reform. On Tuesday, he told a conference call that deportations are breaking families apart and leaving children in foster care. "So the human toll has been horrific. This president, by implementation of existing law, has been forced to deport a huge number of Americans." Although Garcia may consider the deportees to be "Americans," legally they are not. But they might become citizens if Garcia and other immigration advocates get their way. Democrats are urging Republicans to sign their discharge petition, which would force a House vote on

Key members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform expressed outrage at revelations made in newly released emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner coordinating with the Department of Justice on prosecuting nonprofit groups. One committee member said the emails prove why the IRS is “scared to give up the rest of Lois Lerner’s emails.” IRS commissioner John Koskinen was recently threatened with contempt for stonewalling the committee’s investigation. Koskinen claimed in a hearing that it could take years to provide the documents requested by Oversight. “The release of new documents

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Thank God for Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George. His investigation of what turned out to be the IRS abuse scandal may well have saved the Constitution and the nation. For his fair and impartial investigation into the Internal Revenue Service’s abuse of Americans who dissent from President Obama’s agenda, Democrats have called for an investigation of him. George should not be investigated, but perhaps the Democrats who want him investigated — Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and Matt Cartwright (D-PA) — should be. Their call for an investigation of the investigator might constitute interference with the ongoing investigation

Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can
