| WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – President Barack Obama is developing a bit of debate prep repetition, publicly at least. Mr. Obama took a break Sunday from studying and engaging in mock sessions with his staff at a five-star waterfront resort here to deliver pizzas to one of his nearby campaign offices and make a couple phone calls to supporters, just as he did while preparing for his first debate in Henderson, Nev., two weeks ago. (Snip) He then took a seat between two women and picked up the phone. “I’m gonna do my work,” he said, adding: “Everybody’s so serious!”

He has spent more time on this that any other task with the exceptions of golf and fundraising.

Probably thinks it's going great because he's kicking the ass of and besting his sparing partner, the arrogant leftist dullard, John F. Kerry. He'll be left flat-footed again on Tuesday when he comes up against someone who actually appreciates and understands America.

All I see is a goof-off who once again is playing hookey from his studies to go eat pizza. Not a serious man.
As for 'going great' just remember that he also thought he did great after the first debate, so we know how his judgment stacks up.

Per the article, he started at 10 this morning, strolled the grounds "between sessions" while J Effin Kerry tooled around in a golf cart and delivered some pizzas to volunteers. Nice to see his work ethic hasn't changed.
Mitt Romney must be so worried. /s

The Golden Horseshoe Golf Course is at the Williamsburg Inn. Not sure if that's where he's staying. Will he miss playing at the beautiful course? To stay in and do his homework? Nah..

Seriously? Are we really supposed to be impressed with the great impersonator-in-chief and his sycophantic-media letting us in on his "preparations" for the great Debate at a FIVE-STAR waterfront resort WE are paying for? That's a joke, right? Mitt Romney is going to hand him his skinny rear end once again and obama will be delivering pizzas standing up! He may as well get ready for his next career move!

One thing is if a man tells the truth and had a decent record in office he wouldn't have to practice. Going Great means he has the questions memorized that Crowley gave him and his one line zingers are superb.

You know,Biden skipped out on 2 issues about the Afghanistan and it got no attention. One was Ryan questioning why you announce a withdrawal date so the enemy can just wait you out. Then Radddaz asked hm a question about the surge which apparently did little or no good and he's pulled them back already.
There's a ton of issues going right over people's heads and they're going to vote on style points in the debate instead, regardless of policy stupidity on Obama's part.
Low information voters are Obama's best friends.Wasn't there some people who swallowed Romney was black and Obama was a Mormon?

He thought he was still on the Affirmative Action train in the 1st debate...no need to "study", I'm gonna get an A no matter what!. Well, it seems that the AA program got axed prior to the debate and he wasn't told. Now, like most slacker students, he's gotta grab the CliffsNotes and make an effort to at least show some comprehension of the subjects. My guess is the best he'll do is a D...no matter how many plants are in the audience, and Crowleys' best efforts to ambush Romney.

"Going Great", just like the economy? Trouble is O & Effing are debate prepping in their bubble where they believe their own lies. Not a winning strategy when the voters outside the DC & media bubble are living the reality of obamaville.

Michael Hastings, a contributor to Rolling Stone and BuzzFeed, died on Tuesday morning in a car crash in Los Angeles at the unforgivably young age of 33.He is best known, rightly, for his 2010 Rolling Stone profile of Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who as commander of the U.S.-led force in Afghanistan was the face of the war that Hastings saw as misguided and poorly managed. His profile, “The Runaway General,” portrayed McChrystal as a loose cannon so sure of himself and his strategy for the war that he and his staff openly derided their civilian overseers,

Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didn’t want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built. The 54-39 vote to reject the fence shows the core of the immigration deal is holding. The vote broke mostly along party lines, though five Republicans, including Sen. Marco Rubio and the rest of the bill’s authors, voted against the fence, and two Democrats voted for it. Republicans had offered the fence as a way to

[Video] Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory (R-Opelousas) explains why he recently switched from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party. He discusses the history of the Republican Party, founded as an Abolitionist Movement in 1854. Guillory talks about how the welfare state is only a mechanism for politicians to control the black community. Hello, my name is Elbert Lee Guillory, and I’m the senator for the twenty-fourth district right here in beautiful Louisiana. Recently I made what many are referring to as a ‘bold decision’ to switch my party affiliation to the Republican Party.

Tough global rules to stop mega-rich firms and individuals from dodging tax were unveiled at the G8 summit today. David Cameron demanded the world’s most powerful countries act to stop countries shifting profits to low-cost tax havens instead of paying they dues where there are earned. The Lough Erne Declaration - signed by the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Japan and Russia - vows to ´fight the scourge of tax evasion´ by ensuring automatic exchange of tax information and changing the rules to stop multinational companies shifting profits across borders to avoid paying their fair share.

A controversial federal agency subject to little congressional oversight has advised its employees to include minimal details about agency events on work calendars that are subject to Freedom of Information Act requests. In a flier circulated to employees and obtained by the government watchdog group Cause of Action, the bureau’s FOIA office instructs employees to “keep your calendar entries brief and general.” The guidance has some observers concerned that the agency is instructing its employees to be more opaque in its daily operations. “Transparency is at the core of our agenda, and it is a key part

On ‘Morning Joe’ this morning, the slightly thinner Gov. Chris Christie R-N.J. dodged 2016 presidential speculation by announcing that he would not wear a Speedo swimsuit on the Fourth of July. “I can announce I’m not wearing the Speedo on the Fourth of July, that’s something I’m happy to announce” Christie joked after MSNBC’s Willie Geist pressed the governor for his political aspirations. Christie has reportedly lost 40 pounds after a successful lap-band surgery earlier this year. Later in the show, Christie explained that during a visit Jersey Shore on Monday, he was approached by several young women

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
