Two days ahead of the second presidential debate of the general election, the Obama campaign promised a more animated president, but the Romney campaign said it won’t matter because the Republican nominee has seized the momentum. (Snip)“Well, the president can change his style,” Romney campaign adviser Ed Gillespie said on the same program. “He can change his tactics. He can’t change his record. And he can’t change his policies. And that’s what this election is about.” Obama was disappointed by his own performance in the first presidential debate two weeks ago, according to campaign aides, while Romney has enjoyed

That's right. He can't change his record and will be forced to lie about it, which is when Mitt will call him on the lies. 0bama is trapped. Mitt has his number. Admit to abject failure or be exposed as a liar - they're his only alternatives. Bye, bye Barry..

I think obama's brain has already atrophied from general drug use and neglect. Mitt Romney will be shooting fish in a barrel again this Tuesday, and next week as well.

Budding dictators are not expected to run for re-election. You obama-worshipers dropped the ball when you didn't make obama dictator of the U.S. a few years ago.

That was a good response by Gillespie.

"Disappointed by his own performance". Wasn't that the man who was convinced he won the debate?

He can hop around all he wants and be more energetic. The facts will not change. He is sending America down a rat hole to hell.

And all Romney has to do is say "I see you have abandoned hope and change" and Obama gets flicked away like a booger.

Zero is an Affirm-A product [with a little help from drugs...] that can no more stand up to Romney, a product of Christian Morals and the cut and thrust of Capitalism, than a pig can fly. Sorry, Hillary.

Mitt has already served notice. Zippy is entitled to his own house, his own plane but not his own facts.

He won't do squat without his teleprompters.

America was HAD by that affirmative-action Marxist traitor, but he won't get away with it again.

Out here on my lovely limb, I'm going to hazard that if this week's debate goes as badly for Obama as the previous one, Team O will find some "emergency situation" which requires his sudden attention, rather than a third debate.

On the early morning (4am) CBS gagfest they switched from the Obama underwear holder Terrell Brown to a nice looking woman who's name escapes me at the momment. Showed clips of Odummer taking a break from his debate prep to bring pizzas to the local campaign disinformation headquarters. They asked him how the debate prep was going and he croaked that it was going great. All they showed of Romney was him on his way to church with Ann. The suckup in the media are trying their best to play up the fact that Obowma will be ready for that mean old governor who stole his thunder in the first debate. They will have another compromised "moderator' in the very rotund (I love)Candy Crowley. The only problem for the O Team is that the governor will be ready for any crap that DA WUUN might try to pull. He will refute all of Odumbo's arguments while smailing and being respectful. That alone will rankle our Gungan-in-Chief.

Raymond Maxwel --one of the four State Department officials disciplined over security lapses that led to the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last year -- is also a prolific poet. And he´s been publishing provocative verses since he was put on administrative leave December 18. Some of the poetry represents scathing commentary on the post-Benghazi fallout and implies that he feels like he´s been made a scapegoat. In "Trapped in a purgatory of their own deceit," Maxwell writes in part: "The web of lies they weave / gets tighter and tighter / in its deceit

Whatever else happens as a result of the multiple controversies that have engulfed the administration, one thing is clear: President Obama has failed to meet one of the most important goals he set out when he was first elected, which was to demonstrate that activist government could also be smart government. (Snip) As he put it then: “I think what you saw in this election was people saying, ‘Yes, we don’t want some big, bureaucratic, ever-expanding state. On the other hand, we don’t want a state that’s dysfunctional, that doesn’t believe in its mission, that can’t carry out

Washington – Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-MO, issued a video statement Friday in response to reports that the Internal Revenue Service unfairly targeted conservative nonprofit groups. (Snip) “There’s a reason Lady Justice wears a blindfold in America. That is because in America, we don’t apply the law based on who you are, who you know, or what you believe. We apply the law equally.” “We should not only fire the head of the IRS, which has occurred, but we’ve got to go down the line and find every single person who had anything to do with this and make sure

Richmond, Va.—Virginia´s activist conservative attorney general has won the Republican Party´s gubernatorial nomination by acclamation. At the GOP´s statewide convention, thousands of conservatives and tea party followers who dominated the Richmond Coliseum on Saturday roared their unanimous support for Ken Cuccinelli. He was unopposed for the nomination and is generally beloved by the tea party for his aggressive challenges to federal mandates. Cuccinelli is an abortion foe who was the first state attorney general to challenge President Barack Obama´s health care reforms in 2010. He faces former Democratic National Committee chairman and Clinton family protege Terry McAuliffe

House votes to repeal ObamaCare

The House voted to repeal ObamaCare on Thursday for the third time since Republicans took over the chamber in 2011. Only two Democrats sided with Republicans in the party-line 229-195 vote — Jim Matheson (Utah) and Mike McIntyre (N.C.). All Republicans voted in favor of repeal. This is the 37th time the House GOP has voted to repeal or defund at least part of the bill, but this latest bill will also not become law given Democrats´ control of the Senate. Still, many House Republicans had clamored for the bill from Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) to be considered,

Back in March, The Wall Street Journal’s Damian Paletta profiled Daniel Werfel — then the controller for the White House budget office, and today the newly named acting commissioner of the IRS — focusing on his role in instructing the government how to deal with the sequester’s $85 billion in budget cuts. Here are some highlights from the profile: Known in the White House as “Danny,” Mr. Werfel graduated from Cornell University, earned a master’s degree in public policy from Duke University and a law degree from the University of North Carolina. What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement
