He's one of the least

An extraordinary political earthquake struck America this week. Mitt Romney, widely assumed to be the ‘best of a weak bunch’ of Republican candidates, suddenly overtook Barack Obama in election polls. Remarkably for someone with a reputation as Mr Dullard, it was his brilliant performance on October 3 at the first of three presidential debates, where he scored the biggest win ever over an oddly downcast Obama, that propelled him into the favourite’s chair. Should Romney now win on November 6, America will not only have replaced its first black President with its first Mormon President.

And Piers is one of the most biased and dishonest talking heads.
Certainly, he is the most pompous and arrogant

Shut up, Piers.

We allow you to be here ...

We took steps to end that some time ago.

Morgan is almost laughable. How does this clown keep his job?

As for character and integrity, Romney is the best man to run for president since Reagan and Truman. He's going to be a very good leader, and Lord knows we need him after the last four years.

If Romney's saying the truth about his country's Olympic management is "don't like your drapes", what is that lousy Brit doing commenting on our candidate?

BTW, unprincipled translates to 'doesn't agree with Piers Morgan'. We get it. Obama is honorable for 'evolving' on gay marriage, but Romney flipflops, got it.

Oh and Obama improving our image worldwide?? You must be joking. There were twenty embassies under siege recently, and we have 4 dead in Libya. If that's an improvement, I'll take a little less improvement.

Romney is the most principled man - and the stupid Morgan proves it in his own post - even admitting that the UK has nothing like him.

What a jerk. A stupid jerk. A blind stupid jerk.

If Romney policies work, then it will be a Higher Power that saves America (Americans must save America and give the credit where Romney will IMO)and hence the world as that Higher Power wills.

Where does Piers find a more "principled" politician or all of those above Romney on his list?

Romney going to the base in the primaries and the center in the national is standard operating procedure that even a board dumb person like me knows by now following politics and the ins and outs and ups and downs.

Faulting Romney on keeping his campaign promises to the electorate of the most liberal state in the union is plain dumb if not hypocritical. He was elected to serve Mass. He pulled them rightward fiscally for awhile and modified their legislature's healthcare ideas. What more can be asked of a politician that he serves those who elect him and achieves what he campaigned to do.

If Romney were the ambitious and coreless individual some make him out to be, he would have switched long ago from the religion of his father's. Would have made his political rise easier, or would it?

Believing in a Higher Power than onesself cleanses souls? Nominal selection for political purposes? So Barack IMO. Muslim of his childhood, atheism of soscialism of philosophies or "Christian" of Wright's church? Still hasn't found a new one in Wash DC?? Hmmmn. IOW I don't see it as Piers does. But does he? He has to get a column out for a living on a deadline not as necessarily inspired by dynamic Poe-like inspiration.

Many of you a blasting Piers for his "least principled" comment. Isn't this exactly what many of us conservatives had reservations about Romney during the primaries? He was presenting himself as more conservative than he really was? I hate to say this, but I actually agree with Piers on this point. That's probably part of the reason that Ryan was selected as VP...to help offset that "flip-flop" charge. That doesn't mean I not going to vote for Romney, I certainly am. We have a much better chance of saving this country with Romney than we do with Obama.

Reply 34 - Posted by: LC Chihuahua, 10/14/2012 11:45:07 AM     (No. 8932240)

Always thought Romney was a fairly good debater. The problem was his record and message, but it was clear he was for smaller government. If you want smaller government, its unclear that Romney would be the ideal choice. Romney was the best funded candidate, best organized, and wanted the nomination. He convinced enough conservatives, and he won.

Romney should win easily since Obama's performance has been awlful. Even the lefty media cannot save Obama's sorry rear end.

Novmember 6 is 'Impeach Obama' day.

#33 and others get it. Indeed Romney is a far superior choice to our Narcissist-in Chief but he is not now nor has he ever been a conservative. Morgan's observation about Romney's lack of core principle is stone cold reality yet the irrational animus toward Morgan won't allow the predictible ranters to accept a small favor; a Romney endorsement. They do him no favors by insisting Romney is something that he is not.

The First Lady Michelle Obama told graduates from Nashville´s Martin Luther King Jr High School to carve their own path, work hard and show grit and determination at her commencement speech today. The school was honored to host Mrs Obama in the only high school graduation speech she will give this year. But it was no surprise the event was held off campus given the state of the school buildings

You may be forgiven if you missed it during last week’s tsunami of scandals, but President Obama finally let slip that he is a socialist. Buried in the 17th paragraph of one of those mewling New York Times pieces on the woes of Obama — can we start calling him Woe-bama yet? — appeared these two words: “going Bulworth.” Obama himself, the Times explained, has been “longingly” telling his inner circle that what he’d really like to do is what Sen. Jay Bulworth, played by Warren Beatty in his 1998 movie “Bulworth,” did: to go public as

Appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation, White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said that it was “largely irrelevant” who edited the talking points the Obama administration trotted out in the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. Host Bob Schieffer asked, “That was just a PR plan, to send out somebody who didn’t know anything about what had happened. Why did you do that? Why didn’t the Secretary of State come and tell us what they knew, and if they knew nothing, say ‘We don’t know yet?’ …. Why are you here today?

The Homeland Security Department has granted legal status to 99.2 percent of all illegal immigrants who have applied under President Obama’s new non-deportation policy for young adults, according to the latest numbers released Friday. That’s a slight drop from the 99.5 percent approval rate reported last month. The policy, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, grants legal status to most illegal immigrants under the age of 31 who came to the U.S. before age 16 — usually brought by their parents. They are allowed to remain in the U.S. without fear of deportation, and are given work

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,
