Washington-The United States must look past the violence and extremism that has erupted after the "Arab Spring" revolutions and boost support for the region's young democracies to forge long-term security, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday. Clinton, seeking to reinforce the Obama administration's Middle East policy following a wave of anti-American violence and last month's deadly attack on the US mission in Benghazi, Libya, said Washington cannot be deterred by "the violent acts of a small number of extremists." "We recognize that these transitions are not America's to manage, and certainly not ours to win or lose,"

Tell that to the four dead Americans.

Her Thighness is reading from a script that's over a year old. We are witnessing the rise of islamic fundementalism which is nothing but a thin veneer for murdering Muslim savagery. Where the hell has this woman been and what the hell is she smoking?
This statement has Huma Abedin written all over it.

The 4 people who were murdered do not even register with her. More violence will just be "ignored" by Hillary Clinton.

You see we the little people are not seeing the Big picture.....

At least she will be gone soon. Hopefully Mitt will clean out the State dept.

Hillary needs to change her hairstylist and her politics ( she looks like a crone).
A strong United States is the only route to peace in the world. Without a strong US, every little two-bit tyrant will think he can attack without retaliation.
Without US leadership, pretty soon the world will be in chaos.

Thanks to Hillary and Zero!!

She is not altogether wrong on each and every issue, but O! O! she is SUCH an annoying person! How sweet and fitting 'twill be when we are no longer hectored and lectured by her and people like her, people who have never done or accomplished a single meritorious thing or distinguished themselves in any way during their whole lives, people who have coasted, been carried, promoted, given a free pass and ridden on the shoulders and coattails of others to get where they are. People who are head over heels in love with themselves and their exalted principles.

There is hope. She cannot live forever, neither in the flesh nor in public life. Not even Jimmy Carter can live forever. The trouble is that it precisely people like these, people of no real substance or accomplishment or wisdom, who are the most tenacious in clinging to the public eye. This is a definite characteristic of Democrats. They never just fade away. They keep right on blabbing and scolding and finger pointing to their very last breath.

If you wanted to start trouble in, say, Benghazi and have it spread around the world, well, you know most of the details--that is how you would go about it.

If you wanted to lose a presidential debate, you would go about it as Obama did at his last debate.

Ditto for the above, except insert "vice-" and Biden in the appropriate places.

If you wanted to really anger Hillary Clinton, you would blame everything surrounding the Benghazi Bungle on State

If you wanted to encourage more attacks on our installations in foreign countries and in the United States, this article explains how you would go about it.

The list can go on, ad nauseum.

Why?

It's not that I'm paranoid, but I think they're out to get us.

P.S. To what Middle Eastern democracies is Clinton referring? Name just one.

Sure, we are supposed to overlook the violence, so that the Middle Eastern 'Fast and Furious' does not get exposed any further....won't look too good when it comes out that the empty chair put weapons into Al Qaeda's hands, does it?

Not ours to win or lose?? Just how stupid is that?
We spent 800 million dollars bombing Libya, supposedly freeing the people who are now killing our embassy employees.
In the upside down world of hillary and mr. barack, though, ours is not to win or lose.
It would have been like Truman saying, at the end of WWII, that germany is not ours to win or lose.

Even using the term "democracy" loosely, there sill never be anything that even vaguely resembles democracy in the Middle East. Never.

Sooner or later, we adn the rest of the Free World [what's left of it] will come to the realization that that it's kill or be killed when Islam is involved.

Just look at Old Mother England and what Islam has destroyed in that benighted island.

Canada now has Sharia law as a part of its court system.

I don't know if this nation can survive Islam. In another hundred or so years, we may be living under Islam Rule, given the show of guts by our "leaders."

Christian churches in Dearborn, Michigan can no longer ring the church bells in that town. It's offensive to Islam.

It's coming, folks.

We will eventually have to refight the11th, 12th and 13th century's crusades. Weapons are going to be different, it won't be exclusive to middle Eastern countries and all enemy combatants won't look like Arabs. But it will be either that or surrender Western civilization to Islam.

Coming from the same people who ridiculed Bush for middle east democracy dreams. These were fake democratic efforts pushed by Islamists and given a green light by Obama.

There's no reason they couldn't have given Mubarak or Gadaffi 6 months to start election reforms and a more participative government.

I'll bet half the people in these countries wish they had the old way back.

Back when Turkey adopted secularism as it's government style,it could have been a model for the rest of these countries. Too bad Turkey has sold out to the Islamists but they're still moderate compared to the muslim brotherhood, hezbollah and hamas.

Whatever else happens as a result of the multiple controversies that have engulfed the administration, one thing is clear: President Obama has failed to meet one of the most important goals he set out when he was first elected, which was to demonstrate that activist government could also be smart government. (Snip) As he put it then: “I think what you saw in this election was people saying, ‘Yes, we don’t want some big, bureaucratic, ever-expanding state. Richmond, Va.—Virginia´s activist conservative attorney general has won the Republican Party´s gubernatorial nomination by acclamation. At the GOP´s statewide convention, thousands of conservatives and tea party followers who dominated the Richmond Coliseum on Saturday roared their unanimous support for Ken Cuccinelli. He was unopposed for the nomination and is generally beloved by the tea party for his aggressive challenges to federal mandates. Cuccinelli is an abortion foe who was the first state attorney general to challenge President Barack Obama´s health care reforms in 2010. He faces former Democratic National Committee chairman and Clinton family protege Terry McAuliffe

The House voted to repeal ObamaCare on Thursday for the third time since Republicans took over the chamber in 2011. Only two Democrats sided with Republicans in the party-line 229-195 vote — Jim Matheson (Utah) and Mike McIntyre (N.C.). All Republicans voted in favor of repeal. This is the 37th time the House GOP has voted to repeal or defund at least part of the bill, but this latest bill will also not become law given Democrats´ control of the Senate. Still, many House Republicans had clamored for the bill from Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) to be considered,

But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. We need a full and complete investigation and then we will decide the dimensions of it,” said McCain while campaigning for Republican Senate candidate Gabriel Gomez in Dorchester. “It is terrible but we have to have a full investigation before we leap to conclusions.” The maverick’s caution is a sharp contrast to the response of many Republicans
