Denver - Denver police are looking for a person who shot at a field campaign office for President Obama in Denver Friday afternoon. Police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez says there were people inside at the time of the 3:00 p.m. shooting, but no one was hit. The bullet shattered a window at the West 9th Avenue office, causing an unknown amount of damage. Lopez says investigators are looking at surveillance video but have not yet confirmed a description of a vehicle that might be linked to the shooting. Police didn't immediately release other details while detectives pursue leads.

One shot into the far right window of the office. Not where you'd normally aim.

Self inflicted.

The last attack on an Obama campaign office in Denver in 2008....

....was committed by an Obama-supporting lunatic.

Most likely, #2. Or it could be a nut....

People who do that kind of garbage need to be put *under* the jail.

Could be self-inflicted (there is a pattern of this kind of behavior) or it could be an idiot from the Republican side. Just because it usually isn't doesn't mean it couldn't be this time.

It could also be a stray bullet. I recall in 2008 the windows of a GOP campaign office were broken, but the whole street had been hit with vandalism and there were lots of broken windows. Sometimes it's as simple as that.

Oh lordy, John Kerry is out hunting squirrels.

Or did Obama shoot first and aim later again?

There is a pattern of them doing this to themselves. Bet we find out it's the same case here, too. I see Drudge is suggesting too, that there may be riots if Obama loses the election. The scare tactics are taking on a life of their own.

I could be wrong, but I think this reeks of desperation. He's losing, bad. It would not be a stretch to suggest that they are staging "racist" attacks against little barry.

I am so sick and tired of the drama and daily juvenile antics. Please dear Lord, let this end on November 6th.

What #13 said. IMO, Just another ploy by the demonrats to stir up sympathy for obama and more hatred (if that's even possible) toward Republicans. Next, we can expect to see a very large KKK sign to appear outside an obama campaign office.. They're running out of time..and they ARE desperate! Less than 4 weeks left and the loser-in-chief and his posse will be sent packing!!

Senators may confirm Penny Pritzker next month to lead the Commerce Department, a top Senate Republican said after a drama-free hearing Thursday. Commerce Committee senators on both sides of the aisle largely shied away from the controversies surrounding the family of Chicago billionaire and Hyatt Hotel heiress Pritzker, despite GOP criticism centering on the use of subprime lending practices and offshore bank accounts. (Snip) The hearing was surprisingly cordial with questions ranging from cybersecurity to the National Weather Service to creating manufacturing jobs to fisheries. Only three questions, two from Thune, related to Pritzker’s family.

Whatever else happens as a result of the multiple controversies that have engulfed the administration, one thing is clear: President Obama has failed to meet one of the most important goals he set out when he was first elected, which was to demonstrate that activist government could also be smart government. (Snip) As he put it then: “I think what you saw in this election was people saying, ‘Yes, we don’t want some big, bureaucratic, ever-expanding state. On the other hand, we don’t want a state that’s dysfunctional, that doesn’t believe in its mission, that can’t carry out

Richmond, Va.—Virginia´s activist conservative attorney general has won the Republican Party´s gubernatorial nomination by acclamation. At the GOP´s statewide convention, thousands of conservatives and tea party followers who dominated the Richmond Coliseum on Saturday roared their unanimous support for Ken Cuccinelli. He was unopposed for the nomination and is generally beloved by the tea party for his aggressive challenges to federal mandates. Cuccinelli is an abortion foe who was the first state attorney general to challenge President Barack Obama´s health care reforms in 2010. He faces former Democratic National Committee chairman and Clinton family protege Terry McAuliffe

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping
