| After Bill Clinton delivered his electrifying speech at the Democratic National Convention, many political observers concluded that the Clintons and Obamas had called a truce to their long-running feud. Under their armistice, Clinton agreed to make speeches and appear in TV commercials for Obama, acting like a booster rocket for the Democratic ticket in the remaining weeks of the campaign. It was a pretty picture, but as I have learned from several sources inside the Clinton camp, it turned out to be a case of wishful thinking. In fact, since the convention, Clinton and Obama have

For the Clintons, the Obamas are the squatter whom you find in your house when you try to move back in.
You want to beat the stuffing out of them, but you know the rules (plus they have a lien on your house).

Obama's narcissism verges on insanity. Compared to Obama, Bill Clinton is a model of mental health. Clinton has enough reality contact to monitor himself and keep in touch with how he is affecting others. Obama seems to lack this essential political ability. He is stuck on one broadcast frequency regardless of conditions and atmospherics. There doesn't seem to be a functioning feedback loop at work. He is all output and no input. The result is pathological rigidity and political ineptitude. Obama is a terrible politician, in fact a kind of anti-politician. He cannot work with others, make deals, get along with opponents, or utilize any of the countless small social, personal lubricants successful politicians need to protect and promote themselves. It is his way or the highway, all or nothing, take it or leave it. His political relationships are superficial and, as we can see, lacking in loyalty. He is a kind of parasite who uses and feeds on others but who gives nothing in return. He owes his position, not to politics, but to a curious kind of mass psychosis fueled by the partisan media. He did not get where he is the old fashioned way, by working for it the way other presidents have had to do. Instead he was simply anointed - and it shows in his lack of understanding of how to behave.

There is only one solution to this for the clintons: make 0bama lose and lose badly enough that he loses all power in the Democrat Party. So how do they sabotage the race, if necessary in the remaining time? They might feel that's unnecessary as 0bama looks like he's tanking. But bill can't help 0bama too much, just in case. Afterward it will be blame 0bama time.

It's rather amusing to see the collision of egos.
BO cannot afford this fight now. If he accepts some blame for Libya he loses, if he tries to dump it on Hilary, he loses. His only hope is, as for so many things, to avoid dealing with it as much as he can. Why do you thing he has been talking about Big Bird instead? People may ridicule him for that but he is not damaging himself.
Unfortunately for BO, the electorate has realized that the pile of things that BO cannot talk about has become enormous. Axelrod and Cutter sound like morons as they try to deflect questions and blame Romney for everything.
Liberals want BO to go on the attack. but about what? BO has major weaknesses in almost every area. Romney is very smart and is well versed in pointing them out. BO is then forced into repeating the same drivel over and over, sounding dumber with each repetition.
Notice that almost NO dems are saying much. They are afraid to get entangled in the ongoing train wreck. BO isn't just at odds with Clinton, he is out of touch with all the leadership of his party. So much for the man who would unite us all. Wait, we are united in some way. We all are worried about BO's incompetence.
We can deal with that soon.

Hillary won't do anything so publicly dramatic as resigning before the election. Instead, she and Bill will feed the lapdog media some extremely damning and embarrassing info about Obama right before the election, when it will be too late to spin it away.
They want to run against Romney in four years, not as the intended successor to a disastrous 2nd Obama term.

Also, I can't imagine the teeth gnashing that the billionaire who purchased the pResidency for Obama is doing at this time. Wonder if Soros is regretting that he did not purchase the job for Shillary rather than going with the unknown O.

Let's think positive, and dream big, my friends: all the Bubba and Bam Bam scorpions in both venomous gangs crawl into the same bottle and annihilate themselves totally--in the traditional Chi-town/Arkencide styles.
Like a spa experience for America, the country will receive a cleansing, healing, corruption-detox, followed by hair, nails, and an anti-socialista makeover. Our beloved country will return to her beautiful, figure-flattering founding principles. Our Lady Liberty will lose several hundred pounds of ugly fat; we'll all look and feel younger, sleeker, safer--at home and abroad. Our complexions will glow once more with the light of Constitutional freedoms and religious liberty.
New jobs, prosperity--and a new wardrobe--will be in order....and shoes, sweeties, beaucoup shoes.

Whether Mitt Romney becomes the 45th president or not, Politico's Jonathan Martin insists that the Republican Party is on the verge of a looming crisis. Sticking with the same overgeneralized racist narrative, it is basically a 'fact' at this point that the GOP's conservative ideology and a lack of diversity will ultimately lead to its downfall. Conversely, the Democratic Party is poised to dominate in future elections. Nevermind that we heard this before in 2006 and 2008, with Clinton acolyte James Carville forecasted 40 years in the wilderness for the GOP. No, Martin insists that demography is destiny,

President Obama’s big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy, there were “empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena … Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that …” The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldn’t fill it out. As it turns out, the empty seats didn’t look exactly “scattered.” They looked like substantial portions of the upper bowl of the arena, according to photos tweeted by those in attendance:

Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday struggled to draw 1,000 people at two campaign events in Colorado, one of the most important swing states this election. Republicans in Colorado have said they have not seen this much enthusiasm for the top of a Republican ticket in a decade, which is a contrast from Democrats, who are seeing a diminished level of enthusiasm from 2008. At an event in Englewood, Colorado, Biden's crowd "fell just short of a thousand people"--while an event with Romney drew 18,000--and another Biden event drew 1,200 in Pueblo, Colorado.

With a new American Future Fund poll showing Mitt Romney with a one-point lead in liberal Minnesota, Paul Ryan went to the state President Barack Obama won by more than 10 percentage points in 2008 and drew a crowd of nearly 9,000 people on Sunday. A source who was at the event told Breitbart News Minnesota GOP Chair Pat Shortridge announced 9,000 people were in attendance, and Ryan said another 1,000 people had to be turned away because the venue was filled to capacity. Ryan's campaign appearance in Minnesota represents how the Romney campaign is aggressively playing

Today, speaking in Concord, New Hampshire, trying to look bipartisan, Barack Obama made this incredible statement: “As long as I’m president, I’ll work with anybody.” He can’t be serious. For a start, let’s take a look at immigration reform. In June of this year, Sen. John McCain, who has always championed bipartisanship, said bitterly: “This idea that this president or his people reached out to me is patently false. To somehow allege that I didn’t somehow respond to their overtures, that’s patently false. That’s their narrative, and I understand their narrative, but it’s not substantiated by the facts.”

The Illinois Republican party claims early and absentee voting has precipitously fallen since the 2008 presidential election. According to the numbers, at this point in 2008, there were 260,376 early voters and 304,290 absentee voters. Now, the party maintains, there are 195,064 early voters and 46,232 absentee voters. That's a loss of 57 percent of voters, since the last election. This, the Illinois Republican party says, is a terrible sign for Democrats. "Chicago is the heart and soul of the Democratic Party," says Illinois Republican party chair Pat Brady. "You can't get much more solid blue than Chicago

Former Rep. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
