Tell the Truth About the
Obamacare's Abortion Drug Mandate

Weekly Standard, by John McCormack

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops released a statement Friday saying that Vice President Joe Biden falsely described Obamcare's contraception and abortifacient mandate: Last night, the following statement was made during the Vice Presidential debate regarding the decision of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to force virtually all employers to include sterilization and contraception, including drugs that may cause abortion, in the health insurance coverage they provide their employees: "With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear. No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise,

Biden says he doesn't like talking. He needs you to show him, so excommunicate him so he knows you mean business.

Has an order gone out to read this from every pulpit this Sunday?
The Catholic Church must stop being REactive..it is time to ACT. Stop allowing the Lions and Tigers in the Coliseum aka Obama Administration from chewing off Catholics' arms and legs.

I almost feel like going to Mass at two different parishes this weekend, just so I can see if the pastors will speak out. Hmmm...Mass at St. Edith Stein and Mass at St. John Vianney. Sat. and Sun. Could happen. Hoping the pastors will speak out.

You mean JOE LIED?

I hope the good bishops get that memo out when Joe shows up in the confessional booth. Last I checked, the nuns that taught me would have made me include something like that under that commandment about bearing false witness.

I too noticed what he said right away as being incorrect. I believe that as long as EVERY employee is Catholic then they could opt out of the birth control/abortion mandate. They know that is impossible.

I expected a lightning bolt to hit him last night when he went all Catholic.

If he is a good practicing Catholic, I am Catherine the Great.

God bless the Bishops for standing up for Truth, and pointing out Biden's lies.

PS: I agree with #1.
And tell him he can be reinstated ONLY when his words and actions reflect Biblical standards.

I still can't understand why "Catholics" like Biden and Pelosi have not been excommunicated yet. I do remember one very brave parish priest a few years ago who refused to give communion to Ted Kennedy when the disgusting fat pervert had the nerve to approach the communion rail.

Biden believes in taking care of those who can't take care of themselves....except if you are still in the womb. What a jerk! Suddenly he's religious when it seems to justify socialism, but oh no....abortion is a private matter.

To hear a priest who is unafraid of the truth, even when it offends some of his parishoners, listen to Fr. Sammy Maletta on Youtube, or at the website of his church. He is deeply involved as a canon lawyer in the health care and religious liberty debates. This guy is beyond brave. He also has some excellent homilies on marriage and fatherhood. The church website is: http://www.stjohnparish.org/homilies.php (click on the first homily listed).

It’s been nine years since the Supreme Court, expressing their decision in the writings of John Paul Stevens, decided to fundamentally change the Takings Clause of the constitution in the case of Kelo v. City of New London. On this auspicious anniversary, a diarist at Redstate decides to take a fresh look at how wonderfully that exercise in freedom worked out for the citizens, and what they received in exchange for their liberties. The Kelo ruling was controversial and precedent-setting because, under eminent domain, the government may seize the property of a private citizen when it’s deemed necessary for public use

MONROEVILLE, Pa.—When the Texas Wesleyan Rams arrived here this month to defend their 10 straight national titles, the 14 players and coaches wore navy blue and gold track suits and carried matching bags. The walkie-talkies worn on the hips of tournament personnel crackled to life: "Texas Wesleyan has entered the building." The opposing teams,?most of whom brought only a handful of players, some in a mishmash of college sweatshirts,?stopped to watch in awe and dread. "We are the New York Yankees of table tennis," said Texas Wesleyan University Coach Jasna Rather. "Everybody hates our guts."

On upcoming trip, Obama

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will leave Tuesday for a four-nation trip to Asia, looking to recharge a focus on the region, an ambitious initiative that’s been sidetracked by domestic politics and international conflicts elsewhere. Yet even as Obama attempts to boost his effort to emphasize U.S. interest in Asia, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Ukraine is complicating efforts to reassure Asian nations _ which share the region with an increasingly assertive China - that the U.S. is committed to their security. The administration’s efforts to refocus U.S. policy toward Asia were already being questioned in the region with the

While the media is obsessed with the Koch brothers this campaign season, a billionaire hedge fund manager from San Francisco just bought off the White House to the tune of $100 million in order to delay the Keystone XL pipeline decision. From Fox News: The Obama administration once again has punted on a final decision for the Keystone XL pipeline, announcing ahead of the holiday weekend it is extending a key review period indefinitely — a move that could push off a determination until after the midterm elections. A painting of President Barack Obama by a shock artist with a rape fetish hung in the White House for at least two years. Artist David Choe, known for his graffiti and shock art, rose to minor fame after drawing the murals in Facebook’s first offices. He hosts a Vice show centered on hitchhiking, has shown Anthony Bourdain around Los Angeles on Bourdain’s CNN show, “Parts Unknown,” and one of his paintings graced the walls of the White House from at least 2008-2010. But Choe also has a rape fetish. On the podcast that he co-hosts with porn star Asa Akira, he

One of the Obama administration’s favorite themes is the idea that Republicans have been waging a “war on women.” Though Democrats may overestimate the appeal of this canard, the notion that troglodyte conservatives seek to send American women back to the 19th century has become a form of conventional wisdom, especially in the liberal mainstream media. But though that war is a piece of fakery rooted in the confusion between political liberalism and gender equality, there is little doubt about the reality of another war on women: the one that is being waged by left-wing ideologues against any female Republican

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our
