| This administration does not lend itself well to the split screen and the VP might very well need psychiatric care. His smile was frightening. For most of the night Joe Biden looked like the Joker -- Nicholson not Ledger. After 3 ½ years of Biden's playing the fool, it is hard to remember he was once considered a serious man, a serious politician. But...Barack wasn't looking for a serious politician -- he wanted a court jester -- and that's what he got. Now, after playing the fool for so long he has become the fool.

Hopefully Biden is being fitted for his straight jacket this morning. I used to think he was the village idiot but now he is clearly a danger to the nation and probably himself.

Progressives see Biden as the new "normal"!
I hope the Independents, the Undecideds and the Women's vote were all watching last night.
Their votes on November 6 will decide if Biden becomes one heartbeat away from becoming the POTUS!

The only thing missing from Biteme's performance was Algore's heaving and sighing. He really did look foolish. I was watching with my parents and as soon as I heard the "4% green jobs didn't go under" comment, I said to my dad that isn't a record I would be proud to advertise. And either he is so out of the loop at the White House that he had no clue what he was talking about, or he intentionally lied about the Libya scandal. Either way he should be embarrassed, but like Barry, he probably walked off the stage wrongly believing he had won.

No doubt Democrats believe they are morally superior human beings. Based on his debate performance last night, Joe Biden must surely be at the top of the Democratic Party's list of morally superior human beings.

At the very end of the debate Ryan asked the American people to vote for Mitt Romney and himself, that was a good ending because people always like to be asked for their vote, and not bombastically told that they must vote for someone.

The writer's opinion was excellent! I am eager to see the polls that are post debate. It seems the women's vote will be greatly affected. As a woman I found Biden to be offensive, repulsive and reminiscent of my worst relationships with men.

During the second half I subconsciously expected two stern faced white coated men with a nurse in tow to rush out from the wings. Hats off to Ryan's restraint and professionalism. He is a better man than I. Certainly more patient.

Joe Biden is like the comedians who are the brunt of their comedy teams set up morons: Lou Costello, Stan Laurel and Jerry Lewis. Poor Joe Biden looked so much more pathetic and ridicules than any of the mentioned comics have ever looked in their comedy roles?

bI'm very glad Paul Ryan kept his cool, and let Biden and Radditz just continue with their inappropriate and offensive behavior. I'm sure the rudeness was painful for him, but he wisely let them hang themselves, knowing the pundits would be all over it. Smart man.

Hey, liberals! Obama thinks you are stupid. Yeah, he really does. He knew Benghazi was terrorism before he didn´t know it was terrorism. Addressing a question about Benghazi in his press conference Monday, May 13, 2013, Obama´s "logic" really made an impression: "The Day after it happened I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism." (snip) Leaving behind Obama´s initial certitude about Benghazi having been a terror attack, not only did he not know what had happened because it wasn´t clear

What person ever says what he really knows at a funeral? Eulogies bearing little or no resemblance to the deceased or to the facts are trotted out by people who are often bad actors, who though they know better, lie anyway. It´s almost acceptable behavior. But any truth about the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christ Stevens and three other Americans appears to have been put six feet under as far as our current administration is concerned. (snip)Did they love Chris Stevens the way Brutus loved Caesar?

Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted yesterday on three counts of first-degree murder, not to mention a slew of other charges, including involuntary manslaughter (for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar), infanticide, and abortions past Pennsylvania´s legal limit. (snip)in a culture dominated by the 24-hour news cycle, it will be easy for Americans to consider the abortion issue closed with the Gosnell verdict. The pro-life movement´s challenge, as [Lila] Rose says, is to keep the American people focused on how common Gosnell-like practices are in the abortion industry, and on all the unsung victims abortion

Did Barack Obama in effect steal the election in 2012? It is impossible to know, of course, how matters would have played it if Americans had been told the truth about Benghazi. And what if the IRS had not hobbled conservative nonprofits (and therefore the movement) with extra scrutiny and consequent delay and expenses? But there can be no doubt that Obama helped himself by being able to claim that Al Qaeda was "on the run" and with an assist from Candy Crowley make Mitt Romney look bad on when he criticized Obama´s anti-terror policies.

The re-election of Barack Obama is the high water mark and the end of an era. The period 1960 to 2014 will go down in American history as the era of never-ending crusades leading to the decline and potential downfall of the United States. During this time frame America has been inundated with one cause after another. The essential civil rights movement and the tragically successful Viet Nam protests spawned numerous causes, among them: feminism, environmentalism, global warming, and gay rights. For each generation born after 1940 it has been a rite of passage

The Three Whistleblowers at the Benghazi hearing spoke softly, but with the emotional wallop of The Three Tenors. They told the truth, and it blasted like thunder through Obama´s tissue palace of lies. Listening to these strong, solemn men, I heard the sound of old America: a place of hardworking people who love their country and believe in something bigger than their own power. (snip) But today, their America is forced to serve a different god: a cold, smiling man with a hollow heart and hands that get bloodier by the day.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Washington – Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-MO, issued a video statement Friday in response to reports that the Internal Revenue Service unfairly targeted conservative nonprofit groups. (Snip) “There’s a reason Lady Justice wears a blindfold in America. That is because in America, we don’t apply the law based on who you are, who you know, or what you believe. The Internal Revenue Service´s watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president´s re-election campaign. The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn´t reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part
