Florida poll: Romney 51, Obama 44

Tampa Bay Times, by Adam C. Smith

Original Article

Barack Obama's lackluster debate performance last week has dramatically altered the presidential race in Florida, with Mitt Romney opening up a decisive 7 percentage point lead, according to a new Tampa Bay Times/Bay News 9/Miami Herald poll. The survey conducted this week found 51 percent of likely Florida voters supporting Romney, 44 percent backing Obama and 4 percent undecided. That's a major shift from a month ago when the same poll showed Obama leading 48 percent to 47 percent — and a direct result of what Obama himself called a "bad night" at the first debate.

There aren't enough dead people to make up how bad this is going to be for Obama.

I have no doubt that some of this surge is due to the debate debacle but another factor is people beginning to wake up to Obama's incompetence in other ways...Benghazi, economy etal.

I think the pollsters were padding the polls to lean demoncratic in support of the Won. I think they are using Zero's poor debate performance to adjust the polls back to where they belong. They can only cover for so long.

Whether Mitt Romney becomes the 45th president or not, Politico's Jonathan Martin insists that the Republican Party is on the verge of a looming crisis. Sticking with the same overgeneralized racist narrative, it is basically a 'fact' at this point that the GOP's conservative ideology and a lack of diversity will ultimately lead to its downfall. Conversely, the Democratic Party is poised to dominate in future elections. Nevermind that we heard this before in 2006 and 2008, with Clinton acolyte James Carville forecasted 40 years in the wilderness for the GOP. No, Martin insists that demography is destiny,

Obama Ends Campaign
in Half-Empty Arena

President Obama’s big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy, there were “empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena … Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that …” The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldn’t fill it out. As it turns out, the empty seats didn’t look exactly “scattered.” They looked like substantial portions of the upper bowl of the arena, according to photos tweeted by those in attendance:

A longtime Wall Street Insider who for some two years has shared their insights and experience regarding just how dangerous the Obama agenda has been to the future of the United States, now promises on the eve of the 2012 Election that should Mitt Romney win victory tomorrow, a massive surge in economic prosperity and job growth will soon follow. Friend, So now we wait for the great moment – Election Day. What a journey these past few months have been for me. The battles with the FED, Lagarde and her increasingly dangerous IMF,

Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday struggled to draw 1,000 people at two campaign events in Colorado, one of the most important swing states this election. Republicans in Colorado have said they have not seen this much enthusiasm for the top of a Republican ticket in a decade, which is a contrast from Democrats, who are seeing a diminished level of enthusiasm from 2008. At an event in Englewood, Colorado, Biden's crowd "fell just short of a thousand people"--while an event with Romney drew 18,000--and another Biden event drew 1,200 in Pueblo, Colorado.

With a new American Future Fund poll showing Mitt Romney with a one-point lead in liberal Minnesota, Paul Ryan went to the state President Barack Obama won by more than 10 percentage points in 2008 and drew a crowd of nearly 9,000 people on Sunday. A source who was at the event told Breitbart News Minnesota GOP Chair Pat Shortridge announced 9,000 people were in attendance, and Ryan said another 1,000 people had to be turned away because the venue was filled to capacity. Ryan's campaign appearance in Minnesota represents how the Romney campaign is aggressively playing

Obama: 'I'll Work With Anybody'

Today, speaking in Concord, New Hampshire, trying to look bipartisan, Barack Obama made this incredible statement: “As long as I’m president, I’ll work with anybody.” He can’t be serious. For a start, let’s take a look at immigration reform. In June of this year, Sen. John McCain, who has always championed bipartisanship, said bitterly: “This idea that this president or his people reached out to me is patently false. To somehow allege that I didn’t somehow respond to their overtures, that’s patently false. That’s their narrative, and I understand their narrative, but it’s not substantiated by the facts.”

The Illinois Republican party claims early and absentee voting has precipitously fallen since the 2008 presidential election. According to the numbers, at this point in 2008, there were 260,376 early voters and 304,290 absentee voters. Now, the party maintains, there are 195,064 early voters and 46,232 absentee voters. That's a loss of 57 percent of voters, since the last election. This, the Illinois Republican party says, is a terrible sign for Democrats. "Chicago is the heart and soul of the Democratic Party," says Illinois Republican party chair Pat Brady. "You can't get much more solid blue than Chicago

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.

The Obamas never miss an opportunity to mingle with the stars and during a two-day trip in Dublin, who better to have lunch with than iconic Irish rocker and philanthropist Bono? First Lady Michelle along with daughters Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, started Tuesday with an hour-long visit to picturesque Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains--but the two girls looked like they would have rather slept in at their luxury hotel. Glendalough is famous for its Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin, the hermit priest. After appearing less than thrilled on Monday while viewing Medieval manuscripts
