‘Fundamentals’ Of The Election
Still Favor Me, Despite Poor Debate

In a one-on-one interview with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer, President Barack Obama sat down for his first post-debate television interview. In a preview of that interview, which will air in its entirety on ABC at 6:30 p.m. ET, President Obama candidly discusses the debate and his electoral prospects after his lackluster showing. Obama said that the “fundamentals of what this race is about” have not changed and still favor him over former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The president did not sugar coat his debate performance. When asked about it, Obama said his debate against Romney

Comments:
Isn't it frightening that this delusional liar is our president. Not for long. Either the lighting was bad or 0bama looks like he really needed a shave. He looks horrible.

From the looks of Diane during ths interview, she isn 't too impressed with old Barack anymore. He simply reiterated talking points.

One "fundamental" that still looks strong is that his bloated self-esteem has not been damaged one bit by the debates or the freefall in the polls that followed.

This guy likes the word "fundamental," doesn't he?

Obama has taken his narcissism to a level where he is unable to question his own ideology. Years ago he was asked if he ever questioned himself and he said, "never". What normal person would ever admit to that? That kind of individual has the ability to convince many people, who are looking for a secular savior, to follow him because they WANT him to be their savior. All he has to do is tell them what they WANT TO HEAR and they will follow without question.
Obama has an unhealthy inflated opinion of himself, and mix that with people who seek a secular utopian leader and you have America today. No facts, no truth, no character, no morals, no jobs and no way to sustain American growth.
Hopefully, there are enough sensible people in America to realize just how bad Obama is for America.

It's too late. Obama does badly in the next debate he won't show up for the third. Michelle will be reserving a U-Haul to tow their crap back to Chicago.

Obama has Eric Holder to make it 'fundamentally' safe for voter fraud and to sclear the way for $million to pour in from overseas.

The comments from the idiotic libtards at the end of the article are hilarious! They have never had to deal with acidic criticism from within their own choir before. They sound like tired sand-box kiddies who just want to go home now.

There couldn't possibly a single person in the country that really thinks Obama is capable to lead this country.

So Obama gets a free 30 minute infomercial on ABC. Will Romney get one too?

It’s well known that whenever jihadis attack and slaughter innocent people — especially Christians — the Obama administration tries to ignore or whitewash. Lesser known, however, is that whenever foriegn governments try to subdue the jihadis, the Obama administration objects and calls for the “human rights” of the terrorists. According to Reuters, Nigerian warplanes struck militant camps in the northeast on Friday [5/17] in a major push against an Islamist insurgency, drawing a sharp warning from the United States to respect human rights and not harm civilians. Troops used jets and helicopters to bombard targets in their biggest

Al-Shabaab is taking issue with British Prime Minister David Cameron’s statement that the horrific cleaver attack on a Brit by men wanting their actions to be filmed wasn’t a representation of Islam. The Metropolitan Police and the Ministry of Defence confirmed today that the victim was a serving soldier. In line with the wishes of his family his identity will not be released at this stage, the UK government said. Michael Adebolajo, 28, the man wielding a bloody knife and cleaver in the now infamous video of the attack, reportedly was raised Christian but became “obsessed”

During the May 22 broadcast of National Public Radio´s "Talk of the Nation," host Neil Conan repeatedly contradicted a guest by claiming that the IRS has nothing at all to do with Obamacare. NPR´s Conan is, of course, completely incorrect. The IRS is up to its Tea Party harassing neck in Obamacare. The guest Conan contradicted was Kellyanne Conway, a Republican strategist and pollster. Conway was on to discuss the various scandals in which Obama is mired and close to the end of her segment she questioned how the American people can trust

The president is planning to lift the restrictions on sending detainees to Yemen in the coming weeks, the Journal reports, citing unidentified U.S. officials. A White House official would not confirm the report that the administration will lift the Yemen restrictions. “We´re not commenting on press reports of transfers associated with Guantanamo,”

Last night, President Barack Obama honored singer Carole King with the the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The celebration took the form of a concert, featuring James Taylor, Gloria Estefan, Billy Joel, Jesse McCartney, Emeli Sande, and Trisha Yearwood. It will air next week on PBS stations across the nation. But the White House has released President Obama´s speech to honor King: The president´s remarks begin with this quip: Thank you. I have to say that as the podium came out, which meant that was my cue, my mother-in-law said, "Oh, shoot." (Laughter.)

Big Government’s Abuses of Power

Government is now so huge, powerful, and callous that citizens risk becoming virtual serfs, lacking the freedoms guaranteed by the Founders. Is that perennial fear an exaggeration? Survey the current news. We have just learned that the Internal Revenue Service before the 2012 election predicated its tax-exemption policies on politics. It inordinately denied tax exemption to groups considered conservative or otherwise antagonistic to the president’s agenda. If the supposedly nonpartisan IRS is perceived as skewing our taxes on the basis of our politics, then the entire system of trust in self-reporting is rendered null and void.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
