Obama’s Libya statements
become ludicrous

Bring on the racks of “pants on fire” fact checks. Unload an army of Pinocchios to debunk the most egregious of the many untruths we’ve heard since the 9-11-2012 attack in Libya. In what is surely the most jaw-dropping of the many fudges, misrepresentations and outright lies by the Obama administration in handling the Libya attack that killed four Americans, we now hear from the State Department that it never linked the attack and death of four Americans in Libya to the anti-Muslim movie. I bet this comes as a bit of a surprise since you saw U.S. officials say just that for days.

Comments:
Did they really think the truth would never bubble to the surface?

One of the most surprising facts to come out today was that in Libya, as well as many other countries, our own security people are not allowed to carry guns, because that would violate the laws of the host country. (I believe Charlene Lamb, undersecretary of something or other, said that.)
So we have to hire citizens of the host countries to do the guarding. And I suppose that's adequate in England, or France, or Holland, but certainly not in a country full of filthy islamofascist terrorist pigs.

I do not know HOW Americans can be so calm when it is plainly proven that this administration LIES to us.
My sympathy and apology goes out to the families of the 4 murdered Americans that was covered up to save the arses of worthless, useless people such as Hillary, Obama and Rice. They have blood on their hands, and it is dripping down their chins as they play a game of politics.

Quoting the AP report in the article: "The State Department says it never concluded that an attack that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya was simply a protest gone awry..."

Quoting Danielle Pletka in the article: "And lying about the lie pushes the State Department into the realm of farce.”

But they are NOT lying about the lie. Remarkably, the State Department is finally telling us the TRUTH about the lie. You just have to keep the negatives and the double negatives straight. Their obfuscation lies in their leaving unsaid the second half of the confession.

Properly articulated, what State is saying goes like this: We NEVER concluded that the attack that killed Ambassador Stevens was a protest gone awry, and when we told you that we DID conclude that, we were lying to you.

The question then becomes: what was the lie intended to cover up? Security lapses aren't a big enough issue to justify all this. Cover for that would have been easily enough accomplished by sacrificeing some low level security people. No. This was bigger. Much bigger. Big enough for the President and the Sec State to lie to the American people, and stick with it for a week. It bought time.

I still say they knew about the demonstrations beforehand, were going to link them to American evangelicals via the Florida minister, and cap it with Obama's speech at the UN for some foreign policy bump before the debates. But alqueda's attack out of the blue messed it all up. Sure it's nutsy stuff, but look at their laughable reactions to Obama's debate fiasco. He thought he won. Look at the cockamamie campaign they are running. It's outrageous enough to be true.

In places like that, how can anyone tell a apart a riot, a wedding, a grand opening sale at Achmed's, a revolution, a counter-revolution, Friday prayers, a terrorist attack, or the shutting-down of a girl's school?

I remember saying when the "video explanation" for the attack on our embassy in Libya first came out it would be looked back upon in the same way we look back on the "Koran being flushed down the toilet in Gitmo" story - as phony as a three dollar bill. We all know that both Hillary and Øbama are shameless phonies and liars so the phony storyline they came up with was as predictable as rain.
Now I know what Rush means when he says he knows these people better than they know themselves. These people are self-deluded and so predictable. Øbama has become a caricature of himself as pResident, the same way Keith Olbermann became a caricature of himself as a newsman on MSNBC. Both Øbama and Keith are infantile. Keith was fired from his job. Let's do the same for Øbama this November.

Missing in all the Libya lies and noise is the question:

WHAT were Amb Stevens and retired SEALS (now private contractors to US) doing in Benghazi?

I believe the answer was that they were trying to negotiate for the return of the arms that Obama gave the Libyan rebels during the overthrow of Khadaffi. These arms are now in A-Q and other terrorists' hands.

Barry's Libyan Fast & Furious Caper.
Further, I strongly suspect that the weapons used to kill the 4 Americans were made in the USA.

Find proof of that, and then get out the pitchforks and tar and feathers for Choom Boy.

I am so grateful for Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California for bringing things out of the darkness into the light. He takes seriously the responsibility of oversight of the executive branch and the balancing of powers.
Too many of our politicians only concern themselves with retaining their power and influence by winning their next election. Issa is actually applying his power and influence on behalf of the people who elected him. I also send a big thank you to his district in California for sending a man such as this at this critical time in history.
#7 thanks for making me laugh this morning while reading about such a serious topic.

I liked Rep. Gowdy's parsing of the phrase "in fact" -- used to blithely by "Dr." Rice. Said he didn't know what it meant in diplomatic circles, but in the law, "in fact" means it is a fact, and it's not subject to equivocation.

Obama/Jarret's Achilles heel is that they thought they could superimpose the Chicago way on the national stage. In Chicago there is NO opposition anywhere to check the corruption and the criminal activity embedded in the local government. President Kardashian is just naive, stupid, and arrogant enough to believe he could co-op the entire federal bureaucracy to lie down and bend to his will because, you know, he's the "One".

There is a method to his madness. Yes it is madness. Obama has been showing more of his Muslim side lately. His speech to the United Nations was a clear indication of his thinking. "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." Pretty clear to me.

He then took the picture of the Christian YouTube video producer, in chains and under guard, and waved it at the Muslim world in solidarity. He also had a bloated Hillary appear on Arabic TV to make a groveling apology to the Muslim masses.

This may get interesting. Americans are no longer lions in their eyes. We're in retreat and our dhimmitude is becoming apparent.

This is a mutiny by part of the career bureaucracy. Political concerns trumped security concerns and one of their own- a career diplomat- got assassinated as a result. A Big Lie was then told to protect Obama's claims about Al Qaeda being a spent force. A lot of the career types at State and across the rest of the intelligence community are now refusing to go along with that lie for both professional and personal reasons. Like would you be willing to ever accept foreign assignment again with these fools supposedly covering your back?

As was noted above. Washington DC isn't Chicago where Democrat hacks rule in perpetuity. There is only so much blame the politicians can lay on the bureaucracy.

Ok, Tin foil hat time...

I have been wondering if the original plan was hatched with the cooperation of the leaders of the Libyan faction Zippy wants to control the country. The plan being to allow an attack on the consulate which was supposed to result in the capture of the ambassador and his aides. Then Zippy would act all macho and do something dramatic in cooperation with said Libyan leaders to gain the release of the hostages. Presto! Obama gets a big foriegn policy success just in time for the election and the Libyan faction he favors demonstrate they are in control and gain power, prestige, and probably aid money. The press would run with stories of the Obama's strong and brilliant foriegn policy skills all the way to the election. But the plan fell apart when A.Q. infiltrated the attackers and either deliberatly killed our guys or the off duty seals who weren't part of the script made it into a real fight that ended in with their deaths. As usual, Zippy had a scapegoat ready in the form of the film, which had been around for months. This would explain why Zippy wasn't even remotely concerned when first informed of the attack and why they went straight to the film excuse when things went bad. Ambassador Stevens was just a pawn.

A massive tornado ripped through Moore, Okla., Monday afternoon, leveling a huge swath of a residential area in the suburb of Oklahoma City. Video footage from KFOR-TV showed houses, businesses and at least two schools completely demolished, with cars strewn about. Police and emergency crews have begun to respond, but debris has clogged roadways. There is no tally yet on injuries or deaths, but news anchors said significant casualties are expected. At least one large fire has broken out amid the rubble. The twister is already being compared to the May 3, 1999 storm that ripped through Moore

LOS ANGELES - More poor people live in the nation´s suburbs than in urban cities because of affordable housing, service-sector jobs and the increased use of housing vouchers, according to a study released Monday. The number of those in poverty living in suburbs jumped 67 percent between 2000 and 2011, a much larger increase than in cities, researchers for the Brookings Institution said. Suburbs, however, still have a smaller percentage of the poor than cities do. The report notes that poor people were pulled to the suburbs by more affordable homes and followed jobs that were often low paying.

LOS ANGELES -- flocking to Southern California beaches are used to feeding the meter or paying a parking attendant. Not so along the less developed north coast where it´s customary to ditch cars on the shoulder of Highway 1 to surf, swim or picnic. That sandy line that long defined the state´s disparate beach culture may soon fade. In search of new revenue, the state parks system is eyeing parking fees for parts of the Northern California shoreline where none existed or considering hiking rates to visit popular beaches south of Los Angeles during peak periods.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight.
