Truth be told, I think Joe will do better than his boss...but I think Ryan relishes a heated discussion on issues. And I think PR will smile his way through Joe's BS and give him some good whacks. Why shouldn't Biden be happy? He thinks he's already won 6 debates in the past couple weeks. He may be thrown off-stride by a new venue and a different guy at the other lectern, though. We'll see.
Seriously, posters' cautions are well-advised. We are dealing with Democrats, remember. No chicken-counting yet. We all expect Ryan to do well, but he's also up against the moderator, network, media, and all the usual suspects.

Pain cleaned Bidens clock in the last VP debate and he was allowed to lie at will.
Thats the biggest problem Ryan will have to deal with. Debating a liar they does not get called out for his lies.
