| During the next presidential debate, the candidates will be pondering the important questions of our time. But the most controversial may be "Sausage or pepperoni?" Pizza Hut is offering a lifetime of free pizza -- one large pie a week for 30 years -- or a check for $15,600 to anyone who poses the question to either President Barack Obama or Republican candidate Mitt Romney during the live Town Hall-style debate next Tuesday. The proposed stunt, which the pizza chain announced Tuesday, threatens to tick off millions of viewers who are expected to tune in to the debate

Maybe Obama will ask the question, after all, the Mooch has to be fed, and free pizza every week may keep her patially civil, since she won't have a WH chef at her fingertips after Jan. 2013.

Well, maybe we need some levity to trigger off a good lively debate. Maybe then Biden will give us a show with his odd downtown homilies after he gets loosened up answering which he prefers.
Is there anybody in the country who hasn't had this question asked? What's wrong with asking a commercial question from a well known and respected purveyor of round, or square, tomato and cheese pizza with your favorite toppings?
I would also suggest that: "Reuters, get a life!!!"

I think it's funny. Good for Pizza Hut, anything to improve business in this bleak economy. I just read today that the Misery Index is 13, it has not been reported for weeks, or has it been months?

I work at Pizza Hut Headquarters, & this is the first I've heard of this.

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy´s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret. As the 50th anniversary in November of the President´s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day. They found that the room was formally destroyed in 1972 when Parkland Hospital was going through an expansion and Trauma Room 1 had to be demolished.

Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. You could even go to the post office and purchase one

A 17-year-old boy and 22-year-old man were killed within hours of each other in separate West Side attacks Friday night, and a 29-year-old man was killed on the South Side, officials said. The youngest of the three killed was with an 18-year-old friend; both were shot about 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North Central Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. GUJRAT, Pakistan- At least 17 children were killed and 10 others injured when a gas cylinder on a school van exploded Saturday in northeastern Pakistan, officials said. The van, carrying 20 to 25 children, caught fire after the cylinder exploded, Dawn News reported. The driver survived but a teacher was reportedly killed, the BBC reported. The children, ages 5 to 15, were just a few miles from their school in Gujrat when the compressed natural gas canister exploded.

Michelle Obama certainly knows how to work a room! In this case, it was a kindergarten classroom at Savoy Elementary School in Washington D.C., where the patrons were, well, pint-size. The first lady paid a visit to the youngsters, brightening their day with some silly dance moves performed in unison and imparting an important message about hard work and perseverance.Awww. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”
