| In the months leading up to the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, the U.S. Embassy in Libya was seeking to hire two bodyguards with “limited” English language skills at salaries of about $13,000 per year. Job descriptions for these openings that the U.S. Embassy in Libya posted online said the State Department would give preference in filling them to qualified U.S. citizens who were family members of U.S. government employees. The job descriptions explicitly stated that this included the “same-sex domestic partners” of U.S. government employees.

Comments: [*Domestic Partners’ of U.S. Gov’t Employees] Welcome to the 0bama regime where leftist makeovers of society are more important than security and the survival of our people and our nation. The destruction that is Marxism from Chicago must itself be totally destroyed if we are ever to be secure.

Deliberately putting "same sex partners" in an Islamic country being overrun by militants?
Isn't that like waving a red cape in front of a bull?
Or is this just part of the administration's effort to provide equal assassination opportunity for the gay community?

This revolting mess in Libya is just a taste of what Obama has done to the military and the entire US. The entirety of Obama's treachery , incompetence and willful dereliction may be impossible to undo. I bet someone at the DOJ and the White House is researching whether Obama can preemptivly pardon himself .

Are you kidding me? You are looking for homosexuals who can carry guns and put them in a Muslim country? Was our Ambassador homosexual? Is there even more to the story here?

It sounds like the U.S. State Dept. has been overrun by Homosexual Deviants, starting with Hillary Klintoon at the top. This is the DemocRAT plan at its finest. Infest our government with Union Goons and Gays at the highest levels. Who cares if what they do is a good job for the country? Speaking of Deviants, a lot of info is coming out to support the claims that Øbama himself is a Gay Deviant and one of the "services" of the Trinity Church in Chicago that Øbama joined is Rev Wright served as a matchmaker for Homosexual men like Øbama who secretly engage in homosex but needed a woman to marry so he could look more "respectable" and fit into society better. Makes sense when you learn Rev. Wright did marry Barack and Michelle. What Øbama is doing is called "living on the Down Low".

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

CNN’s Peter Hamby reported that Mitt Romney‘s internal polling showed President Obama leading in Ohio by five percentage points.Per Hamby’s post: The number represented a sharp final bump for Obama in Ohio, a race that had essentially been a tied race through much of the previous week, according to the campaign’s daily tracking. The polling, which also showed a tight race in Pennsylvania, explains why Romney officials decided to send their candidate on last-minute Election Day visits to Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

The Obama and Romney campaigns may be gearing up for a very late night, with one Obama campaign adviser predicting that in Florida alone, "they'll be counting until 2 a.m." The Obama adviser said signs suggest the race is quite tight, though the campaign claimed to be "holding strong" in key battlegrounds like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The adviser also said turnout among black voters in Virginia was better than expected, suggesting that could be a problem for Mitt Romney. Republican operatives in Virginia, though, predicted a razor-thin victory for their candidate in the state.

Washington - Early returns on Tuesday in what is anticipated to be a dead even presidential election contained no surprises, as CNN projected President Barack Obama will win his home state of Illinois and eight other races while Republican challenger Mitt Romney will win nine states. All races called so far went as expected after the roller-coaster ride of an election campaign that was buffeted by a superstorm and missteps on both sides. Obama and Romney ran dead even in final polls that hinted at a result rivaling some of the closest presidential elections in history, reflecting the deep political

A week after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, a majority of voters said President Barack Obama’s response to the crisis wasn’t a factor in their vote, according to early exit polls. Fifty-five percent of those surveyed, per CBS News’ early exit polling released by radio station WKZO in Kalamazoo, Mich., said Obama’s handling of the storm was a minor factor in their vote or wasn’t a factor at all. Twenty-six percent named Sandy as an “important” factor, and 15 percent said it was the “most important” factor in their decision.

Mitt Romney is leading among independents in both Ohio and Virginia, early exit polls show. In Ohio, the former Massachusetts governor takes 56 percent of self-identified independents, compared with 40 percent for President Barack Obama. That’s a huge decrease for Obama from 2008, when the exit polls found him winning independents in Ohio by 12 points, 52 percent to 44 percent for John McCain. The numbers are similar but slightly tighter in Virginia: Romney takes 53 percent of independents there, according to ABC News exit polls, a 12-point lead over Obama. In 2008, Obama won independents in the state by

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
