| Libya’s prime minister-elect Mustafa Abushagur — who was voted in on Sept. 12 — was removed in a no-confidence vote on Sunday. As the Washington Post reports, this could mean further delays for the FBI investigation into the Benghazi attack: The decision by Libya’s legislature means that the government may remain without permanent, democratically-elected leadership for many weeks. But without a government in place, the investigation into the attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans may be a low priority for Libyans.

He will not respond. Such attacks have to be planned, and I am sure Obama made sure long ago that military hardware and support are nowhere near the targets. Lobbing a few cruise missiles like Clinton did won't help him now. He has already said on TV many times that it was a video, not terrorists who attacked the consulate and killed the ambassador and three others. To shoot missiles now means he lied or is stupid. He is too vain to give the order in any event.
No missile October surprise, IMHO.

Obama isn't one to let a foolish consistency stop him from doing the politically expedient thing. I do expect him to send some well-publicized drone attacks the last week in October. He will announce the destruction of several top Al Qaida operatives. Whether or not they actually were even Al Qaida or top operatives, and whether or not they are actually destroyed.

Apologies for double-post, but yes - I do believe (and I have, since the git-go) that the Benghazi and Cairo turmoil was staged just for this very reason: So our ChiefUberHawk could play Hero again just in time for the morons out there to remember how great he is at playing war games. Ambassador Stevens, and the other three Americans, were just BUMPS IN THE ROAD.
Watch for photos from war room of Hero in Action.

Not sure on that #10, 11. The situation has just been too bizarre up to this point to think they have a final "end game". Remember he can't offend his anti-war base. Their concerns are golden.
Look at the last paragraph. It lists the riskiest option as doing nothing. Unfortunately, that is Obama's favorite modus of operation, in most any situation. He avoids "political liability" like Superman avoided cryptonite. What if his actions failed and he was made to look bad?! ha ha ha ha. That ship already sailed.
Oh one thing is for sure-he'll wait ok, as the article mentions-quite a bit of waiting. Stuffed shirts can't get off the dime. So this administration is concerned about sovereignty? Ha! Like the action in Libya by NATO, before?
Remember when there's a terrorist attack, the democrats call the police or pretend anyway.

There is a good chance that some Libyans will either be killed or captured on Obama's orders before the election. When it happens you can bet that Obama will be on national TV reading a speech off his teleprompter explaining that he personally gave the mission order.

Washington -- P. Jeffrey Black bumped up against his bosses in the Federal Air Marshal Service, eventually becoming a whistle-blower and testifying to a closed-door congressional hearing before his retirement in 2010. He had taken a long list of complaints to lawmakers about how the air marshals service was run, ranging from problems keeping marshals on flights to allegations of ineptitude and favoritism by managers. The same year he retired, he appeared in "Please Remove Your Shoes," a documentary critical of the airline security measures travelers endure on every trip. Then came the audit,

Within hours of announcing they were ready to talk peace, the Taliban took credit for killing four more Americans and the government of Afghanistan is backing out of negotiations. Is the whole process of bringing peace to the country doomed to fail? We´re not sure how Taliban leaders expect to forge a "political and peaceful solution" to the war in Afghanistan while continuing military operations against their opponents, but the Taliban has, in fact, taken credit for yesterday´s attack on Bagram Air Base that left four U.S. soliders dead. Their statement earlier on Tuesday on the opening of their diplomatic office

HARRISBURG — Sarah Murnaghan won her chance to get a new lung. After a week-long saga that involved U.S. Sens. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., and Bob Casey, D-Pa., Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and a federal judge, the 10-year-old girl from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, received the lung that she needed to continue her fight against cystic fibrosis. It’s a sad story, made all the sadder by the fact that Sarah’s parents had to seek out political leaders and public officials to solve a health-care problem that exists, at least in large part, because of federal regulations regarding organ donations.

Both parties constantly make accusations that their rival is engaged in hypocritical, unethical, or illegal behavior. Given the drastic lack of ideological diversity in the American elite media, the general public usually only hears about such accusations against Republicans. Beyond the fact that biased reporting shapes public opinion to favor the left, it may also have an effect on law enforcement. The persistent lies that have been told about right-leaning political groups by leading Democrats, including President Obama himself, may have led to the IRS abuses of power that we’ve heard so much about in recent weeks.

Walter Lee Williams, 64, became the 500th person named to the list, officials said. He faces charges of sexual exploitation of children, traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places. Bureau officials said they had identified at least 10 alleged victims between the ages of 9 and 17. Many live in Third World countries, officials said, adding that Williams has traveled extensively

Writing today in the Corner at National Review Online, Jonah Goldberg takes up the point I discussed earlier today about the necessity for Republicans not to frame the immigration reform issue as one in which their principal motivation is to avoid allowing more Hispanics become Democratic voters. He agrees with me that’s wrong, but he also says that supporters of the gang of eight bill are mistaken to try and sell their legislation to the GOP on the grounds that it is good politics. He thinks the debate on the bill should rise and fall on its merits,

Something perverse happened after the Supreme Court’s decision today invalidating citizenship-verification requirements in Arizona for registrants who use the federal voter registration form. The Left knows they lost most of the battle, but are still claiming victory. That’s what they do. Election-integrity proponents and the states are saying they lost, but don’t realize they really won. The Left wins even when they lose, and conservatives are often bewildered and outfoxed in the election-process game. Earlier today, I called the decision a nothingburger. After re-reading the case and reflecting a bit more, it’s clear that the decision was a disaster

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
