i wouldnt call it shocking at all. However, I do prefer that women have some meat on their bones. Anyhow......She now lives in an area where any extra weight is frowned upon and where its not helpful in the heat.

I thought she was beautiful as she was. I saw her in person in 2008, and she was tiny then.

Now she looks emaciated.

I once loved Sarah Palin and her message. I don't care for her anymore because of how she markets herself. If she is going to do fitness then she joins the ranks of Jane Fonda. I cannot support anything else she will ever do.

I still love Sarah Palin. She looks fine. She did look younger and fresher in 2008 -- but then, didn't we all. Four years of stress and strain under Obama has been rough on all of us.

Wow! What a snarky piece! I don't think the author cares for Sarah. I think she looks great! The author uses words as "frumpy" and a top stolen from Flashdance, for descriptions of Sarah. Nasty stuff.

If Michelle Obama came out in that outfit, the press would be falling all over themselves to say how great she looked.

Maybe she was just dressed for a casual day of shopping, and not a press conference. I wish I could wear skinny jeans like that! The top, hair and makeup could have been better.

I can't imagine the damage she's had to endure these past 4 years from the malignant press. In spite of that she didn't curl up into a ball and cry. She fought back and developed a career o her own that will care for her family for years to come. We don't own her future. She doesn't have to be a politician. She gave her blood sweat and tears for that already. She may be thin from the constant STRESS of ppl pawing through her garbage or insulting her everyday. God bless her and grant her success in what ever she does.

Sarah Palin has gotten addicted to the fame and the money. I think she is a principled and sincere conservative but come on. She has become a stage mommy to Bristol, doing her second gig on DWTS. They are cashing in and there's nothing wrong with it but let's call it what it is.

Sarah did not win the position of VP. All her books, TV appearances and opinions are hers.

If she wants to update her look to be a bit more California hip and write another book while at it; good for her.

I don't think she needed to lose anything, but maybe she lost some, looks trendy for Los Angeles, and maybe she was trying to set an example for Bristol who just maybe is the one who really could lose a few pounds.

In the "before" pictures, Palin was not even a year from having had a baby. I like her with a little more puff in her cheeks, but otherwise I see no issue with her figure.

The envious little tart of a journ-O-LIAR is repeating a lot of lies they spread in 2008.

An objective comment does not make one jealous. She's always been slender but now looks very thin as a result of dieting and not stress I hope. If this was the FLOTUS, the media would be going general quarters on her and falling all over themselves. But for Sarah they only feel scorn. We need her to be more vocal and support congressional candidates. She would be more effective there than trying to grab the national spotlight because the crazies will try to dredge up 08 and the sheeples will buy it.

In those sunglasses, Sarah looks kinda like Jackie Kennedy. She is very attractive and photogenic. I do think she is a little too thin. But hey, in LA, everyone is too thin.

So many have tried to destroy Sarah but she has shown resilience, strength and ability far beyond the Affirmative Action wimp in the White House whom they so adore.

She has dealt with a tremendous barrage of abuse and ridicule far beyond what is normal, even for the bottom feeding left. And we see it never ends. It is America's loss that she has been so badly savaged by the leftist media that she is no longer a viable candidate for public office.

Now, she is a private citizen - she and Todd are just like the rest of us. They have to build the best life they can for their family on their own and that is what they have done.

It isn't Sarah who needs help - it is the people who spend their time obsessing over her.
