After Successful Terrorist Attacks

Last night, President Obama defiantly declared that "al Qaeda is on its heels." The president made this claim at a fundraiser at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. "Now, four years ago, I made a few commitments to you. I told you I’d end the war in Iraq, and I did. I said I’d end the war in Afghanistan, and we are," said Obama. "I said we’d refocus on the people who actually attacked us on 9/11 -- and today, al Qaeda is on its heels and Osama bin Laden is no more." The extraordinary

Comments:
It is shocking and disgraceful that this pathological liar continues to behave like this and in doing so threatens our national security.

He is in denial. He doesn't realize that the political winds have shifted as a result of the debate, and that the same old schtick just isn't cutting it. The schtick that used to work, it ain't working no more. In the (approximate) words of Warren Zevon, his schtick's f****d up. But it is all he has to offer. He cannot change. He can only do more of the same thing. If he were a vaudeville act, it would be time for the hook to yank him off the stage. The election is the next best way to rid the nation of this pest.

I can imagine the Al Qaeda bull sessions. Sneak up behind him from the left because he only scans the right. Thwap him on the head, steal his wallet, kill his people, he will only bluster. By the time he looks back and to his left you can be long gone and faded back into the population.

(And I have a suggestion in that last regard......)

Whatever, unless he's in front of a ''comfortable'' crowd of his own fellow travelers, you can be certain, 100%, that he's either wrong, or lying.

I'm dang sick and tired of our guys being sitting duck targets for the orcs over there in Afghanistan! There are too many Americans being slaughtered via green-on-blue (or blue-on-green, whichever it is) ''work place violence''!

Where is the MEDIA on this?! I hear only Laura Ingraham talk about this..... Remember how they counted every body in Iraq? Remember how many of them published every name, every day? Where are they NOW?!

According to the AP (not exactly an opponent of Obama) via washingtn Examiner, Al Qaeda making a comeback in Iraq. So all the blood and treasure spilt in Iraq is being wasted so Obama could say he got all our troops out... A pro USA government in Iraq would have been a great counterweight to Iran but instead will be a colony of Iran.

Regarding the briefings, my dream is that Romney brings it up in the debate. But instead of saying you missed XX% of the daily intelligence briefings, he should give a number. You did not attend 186 intelligence briefings last year.

Write off the hard core Leftists and the low information supporters, of course. But it does give one pause the amount of rationalization and denial to be an average Obama supporter these days. And it gets worse by the day.

With actions like shutting down the WH daily briefing, you can see that that Obama and his corrupt, disinforming crew just want to somehow, someway make it to Nov 7 without a complete meltdown. I don't think they can play off BenghaziGate for four weeks. If Romney and the Republicans let them run out the clock this multdimensional Libyan outrage, then they deserve to lose. Not a game changer, Benghazi and should be a game ender for The One.

Obama administration’s ‘Culture of

Washington Times, by Valerie Richardson    Original Article

Sending scores of armed agents along with helicopters and dogs to confront an elderly Nevada rancher over grazing fees may seem like overkill, but critics say it’s not inconsistent with the federal government’s recent approach to environmental enforcement. The simmering truce between the Bundys and the Bureau of Land Management comes after high-profile raids last year by armed federal agents on small-time gold miners in tiny Chicken, Alaska, and guitar makers at the Gibson Guitar facilities in Tennessee. That doesn’t include more subtle threats, such as recent efforts by the Obama administration to raise grazing fees or pressure

Rep. Joe Garcia (D-Fla.) is among the Democrats pressing Congress to take up immigration reform. On Tuesday, he told a conference call that deportations are breaking families apart and leaving children in foster care. "So the human toll has been horrific. This president, by implementation of existing law, has been forced to deport a huge number of Americans." Although Garcia may consider the deportees to be "Americans," legally they are not. But they might become citizens if Garcia and other immigration advocates get their way. Democrats are urging Republicans to sign their discharge petition, which would force a House vote on

Key members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform expressed outrage at revelations made in newly released emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner coordinating with the Department of Justice on prosecuting nonprofit groups. I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

His investigation of what turned out to be the IRS abuse scandal may well have saved the Constitution and the nation. For his fair and impartial investigation into the Internal Revenue Service’s abuse of Americans who dissent from President Obama’s agenda, Democrats have called for an investigation of him. George should not be investigated, but perhaps the Democrats who want him investigated — Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and Matt Cartwright (D-PA) — should be. Their call for an investigation of the investigator might constitute interference with the ongoing investigation

For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
