Obama’s Elmo O.J.
Simpson joke

Washington Examiner (D.C.), by Charlie Spiering

Original Article

Speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco, President Obama reached back to headlines from the 90′s for his latest Sesame Street joke. In recent days, the President has been making fun of Mitt Romney for saying he would cut public funding for public television. “You didn’t know this, but for all you moms and kids out there, you should have confidence that finally somebody is cracking down on Big Bird,” Obama said, alluding to the famous O.J. Simpson chase scene. “Elmo has been seen in a white Suburban. He’s driving for the border.” (It was actually a white Bronco)

Comments:
"A mind is a terrible thing to waste"
If Barry keeps this up it's soon going to be 25th amendment time. Biden may constitutionally have to step in for a mentally incapacitated POTUS until Mitt is sworn in.

So, the Obama campaign has now been reduced to a Muppet Movie?

At last, Obama thinks he has found his one and only winning issue. And it resonates with his supporters, most of whom have the same level of intelligence as 5-year-olds watching Sesame Street.

I fully expect 0bama to be saying things like: "If the plan doesn't fit, you mustn't vote for Mitt" at about any time now.

Come to think of it, Elmo would have made a better POTUS than Obama, who possesses all the character traits of OJ.

0bama can't tell jokes and he also can't do black dialect as well as most white people. But he can sure blow up the Middle East and wreck the American economy.

Nero fiddled while Rome burned.
Obama is an unserious man playing out SNL skits while the rest of us are contemplating government cuts before going over a fiscal cliff or managing an ever more dangerous ME situation.

Send in the clown? Don't bother, he's here.

It is a stupid line of campaigning. By now, most people know that Sesame Street is economically viable, even highly profitable, without any public funding at all.

That's a real knee slapper! Making jokes about a murderer on the run after slaying two people!

The middle east on fire, economys of the world in rapid decline, no coherent foreign or domestic policy, green energy debacles and waste, Fast & Furious etc. etc. and he chooses Sesame St. to concentrate on.

Mitt should point out that Big Bird has more money than zippy has in his campaign coffers and the yellow feather ball doesn't need to take any tax dollars from struggling Americans.

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

Global warming is not being taken seriously and time is running out to avoid consequences like flooded cities and dried out farmland, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim said Thursday. "We are quickly coming to the point where we are not going to be able to keep global warming below two degrees Celsius," Kim said at the start of the IMF-World Bank spring meetings in Washington. "Warming by two degrees Celsius is going to have major implications.... 40 percent of the arable land in Africa will be gone at two degrees Celsius; Bangkok could very well be underwater at two

It was a busy Saturday afternoon at Penn Square and this was happening up on the second floor in front of a growing crowd. A woman, accused of shoplifting, now topless and wrestling with security on the ground. Her bare chest exposed to everyone who walks by. Almost immediately people start getting out their cell phones and capturing the shirtless showdown including the person who captured this video you´re watching. The man who shot this cell phone video walked out of Dillards and immediately saw a nearly naked brawl between a topless woman and a mall security guard. Witnesses say the security officer called

An autopsy on Peaches Geldof was inconclusive and toxicology tests will be conducted in an attempt to determine what killed the 25-year-old celebrity, police said Wednesday. Geldof was pronounced dead by paramedics at her home in southeast England on Monday. Kent Police said a post-mortem examination had not revealed the cause and a toxicology report could take several weeks. Geldof, the daughter of Irish musician Bob Geldof and the late TV presenter Paula Yates, had worked as a model, writer and television show host. She grew up in the glare of Britain´s press, which reveled in the late-night antics of her teenage years, and

The President is no economic illiterate, despite what conservatives think. He understands basic macroeconomics just fine, thank you – but with a twist. Mainstream Democrats worship at the altar of the New Deal. It’s an article of faith that massive government spending pulled America out of the Great Depression. (With all respect to Paul Krugman, the truth is more complicated, but that’s not within the scope of this article.)The president’s view of spending, deficits and debt is not merely Keynesian theory run amok. Its origins and objectives are far more terrifying. Where the traditional Democratic playbook for economic downturns was provided

WASHINGTON — About the only thing former President Ronald Reagan doesn´t have named after him is a mountain, not one recognized by the federal government anyway.(snip)Rep. Jared Huffman, D-Calif., said he thought DeFazio´s amendment was "terrific" but wanted to take it a step further and name the planet after Reagan. "We may want to consider going big with this Reagan-naming enthusiasm," Huffman said. "I´m beginning to see some possibilities in this." Huffman said his reasoning was that if the planet were named after Reagan, then Republicans might be more concerned with taking up legislation dealing with global warming.

A majority of Americans believe that President Barack Obama’s signature health care law will be repealed. A new Rasmussen Reports poll found that 62 percent of likely voters believe that Republicans will repeal Obamacare, which recently marked its fourth anniversary. Only 23 percent of those polled believe that the health care law has been a success, compared to 46 percent who describe the law as a failure. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, offered a Republican alternative to Obama’s health care overhaul last week, saying states should play a greater role in containing health care costs while

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)
