| Regardless of whether President Barack Obama wins in November, The New York Times’ David Brooks says he expects a serious “Draft Hillary” movement in 2016. Appearing on Alec Baldwin’s WNYC “Here’s The Thing” podcast, where just last month George Will said that Hillary Clinton’s political career is all but over, Brooks pointed to what he called the Democrats’ “reasonably weak bench” as one reason to not count out the Secretary the State’s future White House chances. “First of all, I think the Democrats have a reasonably weak bench for 2016
|
Comments: Ha ha ha...Brooks said Hillary would have done a better job than 0bama because she has a better personality. . . .funny stuff. The DemcRAT bench is empty except for the fat loud-mouth chick with the hygiene issues. My prediction: Romney wins in 2012 and if Hillary runs in '16 she will be the female Bob Dole.

I did not read the article. Did Brooks mention that Hillary is the most humiliated woman in the world?
Did he mention that there are reports out this morning from a new book that further humiliation is in the offing in the form of a divorce request from the "Horn Dog" back in 1990?
Did Brooks mention that the second most humiliated woman in the world, Humma Weiner, works for Hillary?
Just wondering if David did his work thoroughly.

The democrats could forgive her incompetence if she were not so old and ugly-looking.
I am not mocking her. She does not have to be ugly. She runs around with straggly hair and no makeup. If you are in a senior government position, you have to try to look your best at all times. If you don't care about yourself, you give off the vibe that you don't care about much else.
This is not sexist. Guys are judged harshly as well. Think of all of the people who say that Chris Christie is off-putting because he does not take care of his body.

David Brooks is "stuck on stupid" in his thinking - always looking at the past, no fresh ideas, unable to visualize anything new. Ambitious DemocRATS will not stand aside for Hillary. Andrew Cuomo has been working on his resume for 20 years now. He'll soon find a way to marry that live-in blonde. Watch for the book, maybe something published with his father. Chuck Schumer loves a camera enough to run. But his wife makes Hillary look like a movie star, so she may drag (no pun intended) down his chances. What about Susan Rice? If she is a lesbian, that would be the perfect Dem candidate, covering all the bases: Black, female, gay.

By 2016 Hillary should just be getting out of jail for her role in Libya.
According to HillBuzz Conservative Politics, the entire attack was a plan by Obama to look tough on foreign policy. He was going to organize a possible "hostage" release using "The Blind Sheik " as a bargaining chip. Things blew up in his face when the "hostages" were killed instead.

Dems don't nominate losers. Only Reps do that. Reps usually run the guy who's turn it is, the guy that last the time before but came in second--McCain, Romney, Dole... Dems always want someone new. Hillary will be very old, tired news in 2016. If they didn't want her in 2008, they won't in 2016.
So what if they have a weak bench. Dems usually put up someone you didn't expect a few years earlier. Who in 2004 thought Obama would be the guy 4 years later?

Her Heinous wouldn't be any improvement over Mr. Potato Head. Both are inveterate Alinskyites, committed leftists without the least understanding of economic or strategic matters. Instead of healthy blood, a substance like subversion flows in their veins.
You should read Christopher Hitchens's No One Left to Lie To, especially the chapter entitled "The Shadow of the Con Man (Rodham's Last Hurrah.)" I'll let Hitch speak for himself.
"Mrs. Clinton has the most unappetizing combination of qualities to be met in many days' march: she is a tyrant and a bully when she can dare to be, and an ingratiating populist when that will serve. She will sometimes appear in the guise of a "strong woman" and sometimes in the softer garb of a winsome and vulnerable female. She is entirely un-self-critical and quite devoid of reflective capacity, and has never found that any of her numerous misfortunes or embarrassments are her own fault, because the fault invariably lies with others. And, spesking of where things lie, she can in a close contest keep up with her husband for mendacity. Like him, she is not just a liar but a lie; a phoney construct of shreds and patches and hysterical self-pitying, demagogic improvisations."
Quite so.

The president may have forgotten something as he boarded Marine One this morning. On his way to the U.S. Naval Academy graduation ceremony on Annapolis, Md., President Obama didn’t return the salute of the marine standing guard at the door of Marine One, as he climbed the steps to the helicopter cabin. Obama soon ducked his head out, waved to the pilot, and jaunted back down the stairs to address the marine, shaking his hand. In the short video clip, one can’t hear the two men talking, so it’s unclear what exactly was said.

Put aside the politics, and the question of who-knew-what-when. There are two policy problems highlighted by the controversies at the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice. The first is the growth of 501(c)(4) groups into vehicles for anonymous and unlimited political spending. The second is the Obama administration’s overzealous prosecution of leaks. Unfortunately, for those who would like to see these policy problems resolved, the wrong party is angry about them and the wrong party is complacent.

Huma Abedin put her feelings of betrayal aside and backed her husband to run for mayor of New York in this year’s election. She has also been working her close connections to the Clinton family to get Mr Weiner access to wealthy and powerful donors who he so badly needs. Having been frozen out of politics when he quit his Congressional seat, Mr Weiner is now effectively relying on his wife

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
