Michelle Obama on Keeping Family
Life, Politics Separate:
'I Rarely Step in the West Wing'

First lady Michelle Obama is campaigner-in-chief when it comes to stumping for her husband and a key asset on the trail, yet she rarely talks about the inner workings of her marriage. Nightline" was granted wide-ranging access to Mrs. Obama, who opened up about adjusting to life in the White House, but said she no longer has any doubts that they are doing what's best for their family and the country, and is looking forward to another four years. (Snip) The first lady was adamant that she steers clear of influencing her husband's policy, opting instead to champion her own

Comments:
MEGA BARF & Major Lying Alert. She's ''just getting used to'' living in the White House. Oh, so sorry you'll be leaving so soon. And she can tell 0bama what to do from wherever she is in the White House. She has more staff than any other First Lady and thinks she has at least as much power as Hillary had.

No, Michelle would never tell the Amateur what to do. Instead, she gets on the horn to Valerie Jarrett and tells Valerie what to put on the TelePrompTer and what to punch into the Blackberry in order to program Obie's next day's steps.

Obie can't even persuade his wife to reduce her one-every-six-weeks vacations. He's controlled and dominated by Valerie and Michelle every day, 24-7. He's not a Chief Executive--he's a walking, talking fundraising robot.

"I rarely lumber into the West Wing"
"I rarely galumph into the West Wing"
"I rarely stomp into the West Wing"

There, I fixed it.

She omitted her primary function and role living in the WH...that is too spend other people's money for shopping sprees, dining out and vacays. As such, she is too busy to go to the West Wing.

Otherwise, she tells us little people do as I say not as I do...as we know with the obesity war she has waged upon Americans... her backside looks like the trunk of one of those American cars from the 50s.

She is just gross, obnoxious, condescending and rude. Just hoping that Ann Romney can bring back the elegance, poise and panache that the US deserves from the First Lady, rather than the Affirmative Action mooch who has lived off other people's money her entire life.

Why would Mooch be in the West Wing?

The Obammunist is never in the West Wing either....

And VaJar has run everyone else out too...

While the Shadow Government constructs our prison.

MO is a bigger political animal than her husband. She wants to appear to be aloof from politics so she can look kicking and screaming when she runs for prez in 2016.This is going to happen whether Obama wins or not.

If Romney wins the 2016 campaign will begin next March or April with the media fawning over her and disrupting Romney's agenda.

We all know she can't influence her husband's policies with pillow talk because he has let us know they don't share a bed. Remember, he 'tucks her in at night.'

Enjoy your big house, Buick Butt. Time is movin' on. Those serving you your lobster tails and champagne in Hawaii will be on your ticket.

He spends his time on the second floor - the Rsidence floor - in a room tricked out with a big screen telly (always on on sports), an old armchair believed to have come from their Chicago house, and a "desk" full of magazines like Parade. He is said to slouch around in shorts and flipflops. Mooch is not far away in their quarters and Valjar's special office suite is nearby.

This article is absurd because there is no need for power-hungry Mooch to go anywhere near the West Wing.

Read Leading From Behind, which starts off with a long detailed report on the women who influence Obie: Valjar, Mooch, and Hillary.

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

CNN’s Peter Hamby reported that Mitt Romney‘s internal polling showed President Obama leading in Ohio by five percentage points.Per Hamby’s post: The number represented a sharp final bump for Obama in Ohio, a race that had essentially been a tied race through much of the previous week, according to the campaign’s daily tracking. The polling, which also showed a tight race in Pennsylvania, explains why Romney officials decided to send their candidate on last-minute Election Day visits to Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

The Obama and Romney campaigns may be gearing up for a very late night, with one Obama campaign adviser predicting that in Florida alone, "they'll be counting until 2 a.m." The Obama adviser said signs suggest the race is quite tight, though the campaign claimed to be "holding strong" in key battlegrounds like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The adviser also said turnout among black voters in Virginia was better than expected, suggesting that could be a problem for Mitt Romney. Republican operatives in Virginia, though, predicted a razor-thin victory for their candidate in the state.

Washington - Early returns on Tuesday in what is anticipated to be a dead even presidential election contained no surprises, as CNN projected President Barack Obama will win his home state of Illinois and eight other races while Republican challenger Mitt Romney will win nine states. All races called so far went as expected after the roller-coaster ride of an election campaign that was buffeted by a superstorm and missteps on both sides. Obama and Romney ran dead even in final polls that hinted at a result rivaling some of the closest presidential elections in history, reflecting the deep political

A week after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, a majority of voters said President Barack Obama’s response to the crisis wasn’t a factor in their vote, according to early exit polls. Fifty-five percent of those surveyed, per CBS News’ early exit polling released by radio station WKZO in Kalamazoo, Mich., said Obama’s handling of the storm was a minor factor in their vote or wasn’t a factor at all. Twenty-six percent named Sandy as an “important” factor, and 15 percent said it was the “most important” factor in their decision.

Mitt Romney is leading among independents in both Ohio and Virginia, early exit polls show. In Ohio, the former Massachusetts governor takes 56 percent of self-identified independents, compared with 40 percent for President Barack Obama. That’s a huge decrease for Obama from 2008, when the exit polls found him winning independents in Ohio by 12 points, 52 percent to 44 percent for John McCain. The numbers are similar but slightly tighter in Virginia: Romney takes 53 percent of independents there, according to ABC News exit polls, a 12-point lead over Obama. In 2008, Obama won independents in the state by

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose
