Moderator: The pressure is mounting on Vice President Joe Biden as he prepares to debate Rep. Paul Ryan on Thursday. After a lackluster debate performance from President Obama, a strong showing from Biden could help put the Obama ticket back on track at a crucial point in the campaign. Sorry, but for the VP debate to matter, either Biden or Ryan would have to bomb out even more than Obama bombed out last week. And I don't think that is possible.

Biden has to do Obama's dirty work. He will sell his soul and be absolutely ugly. Stupid, but ugly. Do not expect any facts from Biden, just filthy, nasty lies.
Ryan just needs to stay on message regardless of the filth Biden throws his way.

When they said they were sequestering Joe for six days of debate prep, I had an image in my mind of him strapped into a chair facing a movie screen repeatedly showing clips of his various stand-up-chuck gaffes and being given negative reinforcement electric shocks.

I may not be too far off.

Ryan should start holding up an additional finger every time Biden tells a bald-faced lie and advertise his intention right after the first one. After the 10th, he could announce that he's having to start over with his count because he's run out of fingers.

Atlanta – Vegetarians may have a lower BMI and drink alcohol sparingly, but vegetarian diets are tied to generally poorer health, poorer quality of life and a higher need for health care than their meat-eating counterparts. A new study from the Medical University of Graz in Austria finds that vegetarians are more physically active, drink less alcohol and smoke less tobacco than those who consume meat in their diets. Vegetarians also have a higher socioeconomic status and a lower body mass index. But the vegetarian diet — characterized by a low consumption of saturated fats and cholesterol that includes increased intake

Teams from 26 countries are trying to find flight MH370, which went missing on 8 March with 239 people on board. One of the relatives, a middle-aged woman, cried: "They give different messages every day! Where´s the flight now? Find our relatives! Find the aircraft!" The Malaysian government said

The Associated Press has stepped up its attack on White House efforts to block coverage of events involving President Obama, warning that once access is cut, “we´ll never get it back.” In the latest media charge that the White House has reneged on promises to be “transparent,” two of AP´s White House staff told a convention in Denver this week that the president´s team often bars coverage of Obama events because they are “hypersensitive” about his Image. When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent.
