| At the height of early-1990s conservative backlash over political correctness and “speech codes” on U.S. college campuses, Barack Obama participated in a panel event geared toward denying that restrictions on free expression were problematic, or happening at all. The 1991 Harvard Law School yearbook quoted the future President of the United States virtually shrugging his shoulders at the thought that non-liberal white students might take offense at restrictions on speech that minority students found objectionable. “I don’t see a lot of conservatives getting upset if minorities feel silenced,” Obama said, flipping the argument around.

I think it's just great that we're finding out so many new, awesome things about Barack so near to His reelection! I mean, how awesome! If He smiles at me one more time I might have to... find a room. And it's like so awesome that He cared about minorities even way back in '91. Awesome!

Same thing with Holder who along with Obama were early b acka activists and radicals.Restricting hate speech against muslims is just another leg of obama'a assault on free speech against all varieties of minorities.
Obama would have had the video maker arrested for J walking if he had to. It's a message to STHU when it comes to offending minorities.
It was many years ago that Robert Blake (Baretta) made a gay crack about Liberace on live TV and got a stern talking to during the break.So none of this stuff is new.
Meanwhile there's reality shows based on rednecks and hillbillies and not a peep from anybody,even those that should be offended.These people can laugh at themselves where liberal groups are too thin skinned.

Obama, Hillary, Holder and the majority of the American media are products of the institutionalized radicalism of American universities. They are symptoms of the illness, not the illness itself. The illness abides unmolested on American university campuses, where discord is sown, thinking is discouraged, speech is inhibited, and darkness is multiplied by words without wisdom. The primary malignancy lies in academia. Obama et al. are just metastases. Attacking them, even when temporarily successful, can never cure the disease itself. A nation whose universities are hostile to its values and traditions cannot last.

"Feeling silenced" is an entirely different thing from actually being ordered into silence by speech codes and punished for exercising one's constitutional rights.

A number of people have sought to explain the IRS targeting of Tea Party, patriot, and 9/12 group applications -- as well as those from other conservative groups -- for "specialist team" treatment (mainly delays and excessive and inappropriate questions) in 2010 by pointing to the Citizens United decision that year allowing for unlimited, undisclosed fundraising by such groups. That´s the explanation IRS official Lois Lerner gave a week ago when she first revealed that the agency had improperly handled a slew of applications -- the political shorthand was a mistaken attempt to deal with a surge in applications.

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
