| President Barack Obama’s campaign has “exploited the military” for political gain, the president of Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund told The Daily Caller. Scott Taylor, a former Navy SEAL, cites the campaign ad touting the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and questioning whether Mitt Romney would have made the same decision. (Snip) “We believe this unprecedented amount of leaks has hindered future operations and could potentially put lives at risk if it hasn’t already, so we’ve basically had enough, and we’re standing up and exercising our First Amendment rights to say something about it,” he said.

Amen #1, but you forgot to add "stupid" to the "deaf and blind" part. Essentially, the same reaction for me. Hope all military service personnel assert their right to vote in "loud and grotesque military manner!"

The military people can't vote unless the Dept. of Defense gets the ballots to them and they don't appear in any hurry to do it.

If the military overseas do not receive their ballots in a timely manner, and their ballots are not counted, then the military in CONUS should vote with their armor.

The fact of the matter is that just about any US President, once told by the CIA where bin Laden was located, would have sent either the SEALS or a 2,000lb bomb to take bin Laden out. There was nothing "gutsy" about that decision, as that is what the vast majority of the American people expected their President to take. Any President who had denied such a mission would not stand any chance of every being re-elected.
No doubt Obama then immediately exploited the SEALS for political purposes and his crew then gave away, in order to help Obama's political fortunes, a huge amount of restricted and classified intelligence and military information.
Taking bin Laden out was the right thing to do, but everything that Obama and his crew made public about the mission thereafter was not the right thing to do.

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

The Obama and Romney campaigns may be gearing up for a very late night, with one Obama campaign adviser predicting that in Florida alone, "they'll be counting until 2 a.m." The Obama adviser said signs suggest the race is quite tight, though the campaign claimed to be "holding strong" in key battlegrounds like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The adviser also said turnout among black voters in Virginia was better than expected, suggesting that could be a problem for Mitt Romney. A week after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, a majority of voters said President Barack Obama’s response to the crisis wasn’t a factor in their vote, according to early exit polls. Fifty-five percent of those surveyed, per CBS News’ early exit polling released by radio station WKZO in Kalamazoo, Mich., said Obama’s handling of the storm was a minor factor in their vote or wasn’t a factor at all. Twenty-six percent named Sandy as an “important” factor, and 15 percent said it was the “most important” factor in their decision.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
