| The politically incorrect rapper Snoop Dog put his two cents in the heated national debate leading up to the November election, posting online a foul-mouthed yet funny list of reasons why he would vote for Barack Obama over Mitt Romney. The 40-year-old hip hop-turned-reggae artist, who had recently changed his name to Snoop Lion, posted a photo of the handwritten list originally created by @DragonflyJonez on Friday. The number one justification for not voting for the Republican candidate is that ‘He is a white n**ga,’ followed by: ‘He looks like he says 'n**ga' all the time.’

If there were a law barring anyone with less than two operative brain cells from voting, this idiot wouldn't pass the test.

I don't know why we filter the "N" word here. Since the real racicts use it openly, then it should be fair game for all. if it is such a terrible word, then no one should use it.
Let's not talk about the behavior of those who use it.

Another example of how far, far out of touch a man can be.
Gov. Romney and I are strangers, but I have worked with men with a similar background of educational and professional achievements.
Mr. Lion's implication that Gov. Romney would habitually use an offensive racial epithet sounds so far afield.
You can't go that far in business and politics, or for that matter raise such a family of decent young men, and subscribe to that kind of usage.
Just doesn't happen.
My belief is that such constructs-- name-calling and so on-- are nullified by the necessity of analysis without prejudice to get results.
Clarity like that becomes a habit, and insults and invective have no place.
Entertainers may have a kind of animal cunning, but an analytic mind, not so much.

NPR´s Ari Shapiro posted an interesting Tweet on May 21. He discovered that a cadre of well-known lefty columnists and journalists visited the White House together, three of whom he mentioned by name. Shapiro reported that Jonathan Capehart and Ezra Klein of the Washington Post, and Josh Marshall of the left-wing website TalkingPointsMemo.com were attending a meeting together at the White House. [Tweet] Coffee, Carney, or perhaps some "guidance"? Naturally the tongues on Twitter wagged. Instapundit wondered, for instance, if the "Journ-O-List cavalry" had been called out to solve Obama´s media problem.

J. Russell George paused for just a moment before he took his seat at the witness table. He wanted to take it all in. The Treasury inspector general whose audit of the IRS had set off a national firestorm had been in this very room before—three decades earlier. That was back when George was a precocious teenager who had worked his way onto the staff of then-Sen. Bob Dole, the powerful Republican chairman of the vaunted Finance Committee. Then, he’d sorted mail and made carbon copies. Now, he was about to testify before the same panel, to present the findings

The US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ronald C. Machen - the man responsible for the aggressive surveillance and phone record scrutiny at Fox News - is also a big donor to the Obama Campaigns. At the time of his appointment, the Washington Post wrote a profile on Machen including this tidbit: Over the years, he has donated $4,350 to Obama´s campaigns. He gave $250 to Obama´s U.S. Senate campaign in 2003, a year before Obama, then an Illinois state senator, emerged on the nation´s political radar, according to campaign finance records.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
