The prisoners are, of course, Abu Hamza and four terrorists. Their plane left RAF Mildenhall around midnight BST (7 p.m. eastern) last night. Numerous media outlets carry the story but this one had the header I liked best. Destination? Couldn't find it but hints are to New York or Connecticut.

I expect O will try to make sure nothing happens before election day. DOJ can mumble about preparation, etc.
But if their lawyers petition a federal court, and they will, no telling what a judge may do.

Why does Reuters assume this could be a mess for Obama. If all this happens it'll take months to prepare for a trial which could possibly land on Romney.
What's the big deal about Obama taking a couple Islamists anyway?If you swallow all his other garbage managing and decisions,this won't move the bar.
We have people who feed us bogus unemployment numbers that just happen to be Obama donors and that doesn't bother anybody,not to mention his foreign money bombs in Sept.

Latest - 10.33 (04.33) This from the New York Times: When the tornado sirens went off around 2.15pm, the staff of the AgapeLand Learning Centre, a day care facility, moved 15 children into two bathrooms, draping them with a protective covering and singing songs with them to keep them calm. As the wind ripped off the roof of one of the bathrooms, they all sang "You Are My Sunshine" to remain calm. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home.
