| Hey, maybe Obama just doesn’t like being president? And that’s why he was so “off” last night? It’s as good a theory as any. Here’s Kevin Baker, at Harper’s: Instead, Obama signaled that he wants out. His diehard supporters are already trying to wave away this weirdly awful, unengaged performance as just his latest turn of Zen mastery, but that dog won’t hunt. They should steel themselves for more shocking displays of indifference over the next month on the part of this strangely diffident individual. It’s quite possible that he means what he says,

I don't think he hates the job he just hates the work attached to it but loves the perks. Let's give him what he wants. A one way ticket out of town.

I was just reading something a few weeks ago in which aides close to Obama were supposedly relieved that Obama's dislike for Romney had stoked his competitive instincts. They had an unnerving feeling that the president was just mailing it in.
The bottom line, I think, is that he wanted this job mostly so that he could give speeches and feel important. I don't believe he is terribly interested in those areas of the presidency that involve work. And I think his much-ballyhooed magical oratory is starting to wear thin, even to himself.

A review of Obama's "job" record, including his present one, indicates that he always had a "job" wherein if he didn't choose to show up for work, no one really made an issue of it.
He possesses no value system as to responsibility. As such, he likes to be President, but has assigned those unpleasant tasks related to the job to others. So, for the first time in our history, we have czars in our government.

He's never really done anything at all as President but fundraise, vacation and appear on talk shows. His signature stunt, Obamacare, was turned over to Reid and Pelosi. His 'executive orders' were hatched by the motely crew of incompetent moonbats he surrounds himself with. What stood out most in his debate performance is his complete lack of understanding of his own policies. He can't defend them because he can't even explain them. He is by far the biggest mistake America has ever made.

Iit is frightening that Americans are mostly unaware of this threat from a gang of really foul people who have never worked outside of academics or social activism can exercise unrestrained power. Sorry I'm late in writing this post...had to go the corner store for more Kleenex...tears just streaming from reading this sad piece of cover...
Late at night, after Michelle falls asleep and Valerie has taken away the warm milk glass and empty cookie plate, our dear leader begins his nightly thoughts about his...Daddy.
And what happened to his daddy? Daddy wasn't as smart as this son, though. He is planning his "retirement" early.
Sun and golf, then speaking engagements that will make the bank account of "man about town" Bill Clinton look cheap.
You've got to know how to play this game folks...especially when you are the smartest and greatest leader this country has and will ever have.
You should feel blessed, if not now, then he will spend the rest of his life explaining to you why you should!

It must be frustrating when the brilliance of your leadership is no longer apparent. Having to stoop to the menial task of convincing the electorate that we will be much worse off absent his presence in the Oval Office, the president cannot find the words to compel that conclusion. It is becoming difficult to sell failure and despair.

I suspect that Moochelle would happily leave the White House. Zippy the wonder dummy, I'm not so sure about.
Obama would define leadership as: Hehas an idea, a directon to go, a goal to meet....it's up too you peaons to work out the details. Its why he has a shadw government staffed with 47 unelected un confirmed czars. Obama's idea of work is signing the paycheck.
I believe that it was Mark Stern who stated that the United States is the largest democracy in the word where the "Head of State" and the "Head of the Government" is the same person. Most democratic countries have a Prime Minister to run the government and a President, King or Queen to be head of state. Head of state gets to do the ribbon cutting ceremonies, state dinners and foreign travel. The prime minister ha t herd the cats.
Obama wants to be head of state ...... not head of the government.

I've said previously I think this all goes back to the time when Michelle and her entourage ran away to Marbella. Gossip was that she did so because Obama had invited Oprah to his birthday party without asking her first.
I thought at the time, as now, that he had told the Mooch of his reservations about re-election and she had exploded. No doubt pressure was immediately brought to bear and he realized his only way out was to lose the debates and lose the election. In the meantime he could have interesting times orating to adoring crowds.
If O has too much of a hard time between now and the election, he might do a Jackson Jr. Otherwise, he'll blame the altitude, Romney's bullying and lies, golf withdrawal syndrome or whatever, but he'll still be able to follow in Blair and Clinton's footsteps with the nonprofit foundations and speaking gigs. He'll thrive on that routine. Someone to manage the foundation and himself to orate, receive adulation, and play golf while the Mooch shops or stays at home telling people what to eat. Or maybe she'll run UN healthy eating programs all over the world. Imagine that--"Growing Arugula and Beekeeping in SubSaharan Africa."

The author gets closer to the truth, I think, in the last paragraph: He just HATES Romney so much that he can't stand to be around him. In fact, he hates all Republicans because he can't stand to deal with them. In short, he IS a hater. He is what he and his party call other people. That's why Obama doesn't have a problem with Bill Ayers who hates his fellow Americans so much that he tried to kill them and still thinks he did not kill enough of them and thinks that another 20 million or more probably need to be killed. I'd venture a guess that Alex Pareene is also a hater.

Two years ago, I was making a grocery run for my family on Memorial Day when a story came on the local NPR station in Oxford, Miss. It was about a father whose son had been killed in action in northwest Afghanistan. The father was Paul Monti; his son was Sergeant Jared Monti. Jared died in Afghanistan trying to save the life of one of his men.

NBC News reported Thursday that Holder approved the search of Fox News reporter James Rosen’s private emails and phone records in a probe of leaked government information. That revelation came just as the president ordered Holder to review Justice Department guidelines for investigating reporters. White House officials have not yet responded

President Obama’s speech at the National Defense University calling for an end to the war on terror forces the question of who gets to declare peace. The Left wing in our political debate has been agitating for some time to repeal the authorization to use military force that the Congress passed after 9/11. The President boarded the bandwagon yesterday. He vowed he would sign no laws designed to expand the mandate and declared outright that he looks forward “to engaging Congress and the American people in efforts to refine, and ultimately repeal” the congressional mandate to use force.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?
