I was just reading something a few weeks ago in which aides close to Obama were supposedly relieved that Obama's dislike for Romney had stoked his competitive instincts. They had an unnerving feeling that the president was just mailing it in.

The bottom line, I think, is that he wanted this job mostly so that he could give speeches and feel important. I don't believe he is terribly interested in those areas of the presidency that involve work. And I think his much-ballyhooed magical oratory is starting to wear thin, even to himself.

A review of Obama's "job" record, including his present one, indicates that he always had a "job" wherein if he didn't choose to show up for work, no one really made an issue of it.

He possesses no value system as to responsibility. As such, he likes to be President, but has assigned those unpleasant tasks related to the job to others. So, for the first time in our history, we have czars in our government.

He's never really done anything at all as President but fundraise, vacation and appear on talk shows. His signature stunt, Obamacare, was turned over to Reid and Pelosi. His 'executive orders' were hatched by the motely crew of incompetent moonbats he surrounds himself with. What stood out most in his debate performance is his complete lack of understanding of his own policies. He can't defend them because he can't even explain them. He is by far the biggest mistake America has ever made.

Why would he want to stay locked up in a White House apartment when he could move to a 35 million dollar estate that some liberals are reported purchasing in his behalf in Hawaii with yearlong golf courses nearby?

I believe that it was Mark Stern who stated that the United States is the largest democracy in the word where the "Head of State" and the "Head of the Government" is the same person. Most democratic countries have a Prime Minister to run the government and a President, King or Queen to be head of state. Head of state gets to do the ribbon cutting ceremonies, state dinners and foreign travel. The prime minister ha t herd the cats.

I've said previously I think this all goes back to the time when Michelle and her entourage ran away to Marbella. Gossip was that she did so because Obama had invited Oprah to his birthday party without asking her first.

I thought at the time, as now, that he had told the Mooch of his reservations about re-election and she had exploded. No doubt pressure was immediately brought to bear and he realized his only way out was to lose the debates and lose the election. In the meantime he could have interesting times orating to adoring crowds.

If O has too much of a hard time between now and the election, he might do a Jackson Jr. Otherwise, he'll blame the altitude, Romney's bullying and lies, golf withdrawal syndrome or whatever, but he'll still be able to follow in Blair and Clinton's footsteps with the nonprofit foundations and speaking gigs. He'll thrive on that routine. Someone to manage the foundation and himself to orate, receive adulation, and play golf while the Mooch shops or stays at home telling people what to eat. Or maybe she'll run UN healthy eating programs all over the world. Imagine that--"Growing Arugula and Beekeeping in SubSaharan Africa."

Does he hate his job? At this point, I frankly don't give a damn. Just boot him out of there and lets get on with the business of America - putting people back to work and self reliance.

I sensed he hated the job from the start. Remember he was complaining about being stuck in the house only weeks into the job. After the other night and today's news about Obama calling Mitt a " liar", his job is going to be over in a McGovern/Nixon kind of way. He'll be lucky to win his home state.
