Media offers questions, advice
to top Obama campaign strategist

Daily Caller, by Neil Munro

Surrounded by whooping Republicans and suddenly unfavorable data, chief Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod called in the media cavalry today. And several reporters on the 11:15 a.m. phone conference promptly offered questions that bordered on advice. “Axe, I’m not sure you can hear me, David,” said NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, when she was invited to ask a question Oct. 4. “I’m wondering whether the president, whether you have rethought the strategy of not bringing up either women’s issues, or the 47 percent or some of the other issues that have worked so well for you in your campaign advertising

Comments:
The corruption of the media is just astounding. This article is still shocking, even when we know they are in the tank for 0bama. It will infuriate you. I wish there was some way for them to pay for their corruption and their complicitous behavior in the destruction of this country.

IMHO the Regime and their propaganda arm are in for a huge surprise. More than 67 million people saw Romney as an honest, carrying and capable leader. The evidence was the focus group they interviewed after the debate. The lies and attacks will not stick, the jig is up. But don't stop praying!

Wouldn't it be special if the media reported the news instead of constantly trying to create it?

David Axelrod is a long time political strategist. I doubt that he needs the advice of Andrea Mitchell or any other media slug to do his job effectively.

I don't think anyone can save Obama from the next two debates. He may perform better but he will always be pampered by the fact that he is an empty suit. He was elected on the basis of hoe and change, not because he has any idea how a business is being run or he is an expert in foreign affairs. His boyhood years in Indonesia and his Indonesian half sister were offered as reasons why he will be able to make the US the darling of the Muslim world. And the people bought it. Since day 1, his idea of bipartisanship is the Republicans have to accept his way nor the highway. His policies and appeasements have failed. Somehow can he debate well?

Go ahead Axe take the slug, Andréa Mitchell, advice. I'm sure nobody on the Romney team thought of that and hadn't rehearsed Mitt on a reply.

That was not a press conference, it was a strategy session. I don't have much confidence in the American people anymore, but hopefully there are still enough intelligent voters who understand what is going on here.

Obama personally, and his entire groupie inner circle is dreading getting back into the ring and taking more punishment. They have to find a way to cancel.

Let's also member how Stephanie ''Axe-Lady'' Cutter cut-down Jim Lehrer while talking to Candy Crowley - who is the next debate moderator. The message seemed to be - go easy on him or we'll dig up some dirt on you!

Andrea...as for Woman's issues, any woman that is actually a woman and not am arrogant man in a woman's body like you are, would see how Mitt stood by his sick wife all their lives IS the Man's Man, and Woman's Man.

On your 47% BS, that won't wash as it's a redirected Lib narrative on something Mitt didn't say. He'd crush that idea just like he did your hero, Obie. Face it, YOU and OBIE are losers and are going to get thrashed in Nov!

I thought this might have been a satirical piece like the "work at McDonalds" piece posted above, but I am aghast that the media is so blatant in what they are doing. I knew they were biased, but this is ridiculous. They have got to go.

The 47% meme just won't fly in debate - Romney would clean his clock on that issue and the handlers know it.

Do your part. Watch nothing on CBS/NBC/ABC/PBS/MSNBC/CNN. Drive their viewership into the muck so advertisers flee.

Impeaching President

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Several days ago some fringe “conservatives” mentioned the idea of impeaching President Obama. For reasons as obvious as they are numerous, that is a terrible idea. Saying that is like throwing chum out to the worst conservatives, the ones who act like liberals, the ones who are all angry instinct, who rather than strategize their way to victory would rather sweep the pieces off the table and throw a tantrum on the floor. Serious and effective conservatism demands putting facts and reason above emotion and hysteria. Some comments concerning potential impeachment are so

Sen. Harry Reid said Wednesday that he will push to confirm more judges to the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., after that court ruled earlier this year that President Obama’s broad use of recess appointment powers was unconstitutional. “You have a majority in that court that is wrecking havoc in the country. For the first time in 230 years, they ruled the president can’t make a recess appointment, so yes there is a crisis,” Mr. Reid, the chamber’s leader, said on the Senate floor as he begged for quick action on more of the president’s judicial nominees.

Mayor Bloomberg went on a spitting-mad rant against a city cab-fleet boss who won a court victory over Hizzoner’s planned “Taxi of Tomorrow” — vowing to “destroy your f--king industry” when he leaves office, The Post has learned. A fuming Bloomberg made the threat against Taxi Club Management CEO Gene Freidman at Madison Square Garden’s private 1879 Club during last Thursday’s Knick playoff game, a witness said yesterday. “It was like Gene had kidnapped his child. He used the f-word twice,” the witness said. Freidman confirmed the blow-up to The Post, and said Bloomberg’s tirade included the warning that,

According to Republican Rep. Jim Jordan and White House visitor logs, former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 118 times in 2010 and 2011. This is the same time period when Tea Party groups were inappropriately targeted and intimidated by the IRS. Testifying in front of lawmakers on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Shulman admitted that many of the meetings with the White House were to discuss how to implement ObamaCare. "The IRS has a major roll in the money flow," Shulman said. Shulman denied ever discussing 501c(4) groups with White House officials

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
