The media made him president and propped him up and shielded him as long as they could. They could not save him last night. They cannot save him now, though they will certainly try. Humpty Dumpy fell off a wall, and all the King's men cannot put him together again.

After the debate, the Øtard went running into the arms of Reggie Love who consoled him until the wee hours. Mooch went home and ate her half-side of Waygu cow midnight snack. And Joey Biden kept wondering when someone would let him out of the shed.

In his four-years as POTUS, BHO has discovered that the presidency requires more than voting "present." His narcissism carried him only so far, even with his chorus of the main stream media. Standing alone on a stage, facing a man of accomplishment in both academics and business, he allowed the nation to see just how shallow are his ideas, his intelligence and his oratory. He allowed the nation to see the vacuum of his intellect and the sham of his presidency.

What people witnessed was the destruction of an illusion. Obama was never a great orator, just a good reader. This was the first occasion where he was matched against a competent debater and he failed miserably. In the "town hall" setting that everybody is waiting for, Obama will do just as badly. He is not a president and it showed. It would not have mattered if he had spent more time practicing with the other liar (JF'N Kerry) instead of playing golf for three days. He just doesn't have it.

CNN and CBS will be gunning for Romney in the next two debates. Expect those gotcha questions like "would you support taking birth control from college women?" from the start. The networks are no doubt meeting in secret to frame a strategy.

Why was he so bad? Several simple (and pretty obvious) reasons:

1. Arrogance. Thinking it was in the bag, Obama didn't bother to prepare.

2. Laziness. Obama didn't really want to prepare and laziness reinforced arrogance.

3. Not smart. Obama has perfectly average intelligence, maybe in the 115-125 IQ range.

4. Doesn't read. Thinking he knows it all already, Obama doesn't update his mental maps or add to his store of knowledge.

What this debate did was highlight just how bad Mcain was in 2008. I watched Obbie debate Clinton in the primaries and he was not impressive.

It's the narcissism. They have huge feelings of entitlemwnt (like they are just going to be handed the debate-like he was they presidency) and they suffer from extremely limited self-definition. (As in, he thinks he's the greatest, no matter what the truth is....)

Adds up to real loser against someone who has a high level of competency.
