Black America - What if
Obama were white?

What if President Obama were white? Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., the chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, said last year, "If (former President) Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House." The problem to which Cleaver refers is black unemployment. At the beginning of the Obama administration, 12.7 percent of black adults seeking work were unemployed. Black unemployment is now 14.1 percent. Black teenage unemployment at the beginning of the Obama administration was 35.2 percent. Black teenage unemployment is now 37.9 percent.

If he were white, he certainly would not be POTUS.
Likely, he would not have been able to attend Columbia or Harvard, either.
Probably, he would be a choom-smoking beach bum in Hawaii.

He'd be Bill Ayers.

Agreed with 1# if he claimed his white side more then no he wouldn't be President. Too many stupid ignorant and "feeling" members of the 60's culture "revolution" felt this was the way to make amends for the first 100 plus years of civil right violations by electing someone due to the color of the skin. Because they sure as hell didn't take into consideration his lack of character, lack of morals and lack of American background. Quit playing the race card Cleaver. The sympathy vote doesn't work when the content of character is lacking and in all honesty the color of his skin only matters to people like you and him.

White.. Black.. Schmack! He's an Arab.. Put on us by the stupid, ill-informed Media and Saudi Arabia!!
It was when they saw us recognizing that oil is NOT a nonrenewable resource.. that we have even more than they do, lying under this huge continent.. that they decided to foster, nurture, and subsidize Barry Soetoro.

You mean, if he looked more like his mother.

And Smiley is an imbecile. good grief.

And S. Jackson, if everyone only voted for the person who looks like them, well, we'd have a white POTUS, and tight now, probably male.

I wish we could outlaw stupidity, send it into exile.

I wouldn't go there, except to point out that he's gotten a pass his entire life. Not only would he not be president, he's not smart enough to be Eugene Robinson, Chares Blow or Toure, and that's a pretty low standard by itself.

He is half white.

In any event, I dislike his white half as much as his black half, and not the skin color. I despise his politics, his ideology, and his incompetence.

If he were white he'd be handing out towels at Man's Country. Sorry if I offended the current towel hander-outers.

Glenn Beck delivered the keynote address at this year’s NRA convention in Houston, Texas, yesterday. The radio and TV host began broadcasting live from Houston Friday, offering up his own conspiracy theory about the previous day’s Houston airport suicide. “We have to admit two things,” Beck told the crowd. “That weapons will always find their way into the hands of bad people, always…but we must declare this: that guns must remain in the hands of good people.”

Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt penned a moving post to his Facebook page Monday night in response to the Boston Marathon bombings that killed three and injured at least 150 people. Oswalt’s touching words immediately went viral. He opened his post bluntly. “Boston. F***ing horrible,” he wrote. “I remember, when 9/11 went down, my reaction was, ‘Well, I’ve had it with humanity.’” He continued, “But I was wrong. I don’t know what’s going to be revealed to be behind all of this mayhem. One human insect or a poisonous mass of broken sociopaths.”

"The bigger the baby, the more he charged." That was abortionist Kermit Gosnell´s pricing plan. So when one woman came to him about seven or eight months pregnant, Gosnell charged her $2,500, according to the grand jury report. "Sue," as the grand jury report calls the mother, came to Gosnell´s gory abortion clinic at 9 in the morning. Gosnell´s staff induced labor. At 11 p.m., Sue finally gave birth to her son. Gosnell´s assistant Kareema Cross testified that the boy was 18 or 19 inches long, "nearly the size of her own 6 pound, 6 ounce, newborn daughter."

Ted Cruz rocks CPAC: Consitutional

There were high expectations for Sen. Ted Cruz´s keynote address at CPAC 2013, and he delivered. As a young, passionate Hispanic who happens to be one of the most brilliant and accomplished constitutional experts and Supreme Court lawyers in the U.S. Senate in over half a century, Cruz poses a clear frustration for the left—and some in the Republican establishment as well. Cruz was a rock star at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Whenever anyone mentioned him in their remarks, the utterance was met with applause.

On Wednesday night, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) electrified the crowd at the Coalitions for America’s Weyrich Awards Dinner, named after founder Paul Weyrich. He led off his speech with a dismissive reference to Senator John McCain’s characterization of him as a “wacko bird.” Looking at the crowd, Cruz said, “Birds of a feather flock together.” Cruz led off with a full-on critique of the President’s public relations blitz over sequestration. “2.4 percent cuts were made from your meals,” he joked. He referenced the “emaciated face” of conservative megadonor Foster Friess.

U.S. Catholics hopeful, but wary,

U.S. Catholics who dreamed of an American pope got their wish — in a way — on Wednesday. A South American. It was Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, archbishop of Buenos Aires, who emerged from the conclave as Pope Francis. Some U.S. church scholars were thrilled, others cautious, and at least one was critical of another aging pope who may be unwilling or unable to make crucial changes in the church. Here is a pope who has contended with all the issues of the modern West — gay marriage, abortion, contraception, women´s rights,

When a staffer texted Senator Mike Lee that his friend and colleague Rand Paul was mounting a talking filibuster to demand greater transparency on the administration’s drone policy, Lee did not hesitate. “I alerted my staff that I would need to be going to the floor,” he says in an interview. Lee was the first of Paul’s Republican colleagues to formally join the filibuster, providing some relief by delivering a speech in support. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas would soon follow, bearing news of the tremendous outpouring of public support on social media

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Washington – Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-MO, issued a video statement Friday in response to reports that the Internal Revenue Service unfairly targeted conservative nonprofit groups. The Internal Revenue Service´s watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president´s re-election campaign. The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn´t reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part
