| The U.S. consulate in Libya was attacked twice in the months leading up to the deadly attack that claimed the lives of four Americans, it was revealed today. The militants responsible for the bombings were also active on social networks, and used Facebook to issue additional threats - including some against Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador who was killed in the strike. The information is likely to increase pressure on the Obama administration as it suggests little was done to secure the facility despite the fact that it was a prime terror target.

Imagine the traction the Dems would gain from this, if parties in power were reversed. Incumbent's campaign would be OVER at this point, even ignoring Fast and Furious, Solyndra, any number of others.

This is too big to surpress before the election. The people who will decide this election are just starting (unfortunately) to pay atention and they WILL find out about this, it's just too big a debacle/scandal/cover-up to keep under the rug for five weeks.
Now we know why 0bama & Hillary put together that slap-dash memorial service at the Dover Airbase and pushed the anti-islam video angle. They needed to get this behind them ASAP before anyone started asking questions. . . too late, the cat's out of the bag and we're T-minus 5 weeks and counting.

Yo..yo...Well then,....Everything is OK. If the warnings were on Facebook, no one in the US Gov. ever uses Facebook so no way they could have known about the threats.

I watched the Univision interview with the Overindulged One and it was obvious he was expecting his usual butt kissing. He deemed 200 dead Mexicans “a distraction” and a “political circus” (by the way Mitt Romney is out of touch). Fast and Furious was carried out by some unnamed low level bureaucrat without his or Holder’s knowledge who has apparently already been punished, but again we don’t know who he or she is.
The beyond lame youtube video excuse for the embassy attacks and asking forgiveness from the terrorists for our first amendment right just might help wake some people up to who this guy is.

The Metropolitan Police has defended the way it responded to reports of the killing in Woolwich, south London, after questions were raised about how long it took officers to reach the scene. The force said police were there within nine minutes of the first emergency call and firearms officers were at the scene five minutes after that. Mayor Boris Johnson was heckled when he visited the area. BBC London´s Home Affairs Correspondent Guy Smith spoke with Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley, former Metropolitan Police Commander John O´Connor and Roger Gray, a former firearms officer.

HANAHAN--The U.S. Naval Brig is once again being mentioned as a leading alternative to put terror detainees on trial after President Barack Obama this week rekindled his push to shut down the terror-suspect holding site at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. “I once again call on Congress to lift the restrictions on detainee transfers from Gitmo,” he said. “I have asked the Department of Defense to designate a site in the United States where we can hold military commissions.” Speculation immediately re-focused on the brig at Charleston as a leading choice where some of the 166 detainees could go on trial.

People taking statins face an increased risk of developing diabetes, warn researchers. They found a 10 percent extra risk linked to taking simvastatin--the most commonly prescribed anti-cholesterol drug--which rose to 22 percent for those taking atorvastatin. Previous research into a suspected link with statins found a 9 percent rise in the chance of patients developing diabetes, but the new study looked at specific brands of drug. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
