Romney Can Win

The media have declared the presidential race over. That’s not surprising. What’s striking is how many Republicans agree. They think the Romney campaign is done. It’s true that recent momentum has favored the president, especially in battleground states. A five-point deficit in Ohio looks ominous for any Republican. But President Obama hasn’t won yet. In fact he could very well lose. Here’s why: 1) Obama’s numbers aren’t that great. There are a lot of ways to measure public opinion in a presidential race. Among the most useful are the tracking polls produced by Gallup and Rasmussen,

The Romney rally at Valley Forge, PA, had a huge turn out. Packed house and overflow crowd. The organizers had to set up a second, out door stage and Romney did a second, impromptu rally with the overflow crowd. This outside of Philthadelphia, land of the black panthers. of course the press won't report that.

Christians in my town are praying from now to election. Each day a different prayer. Today's prayer is:
October 2
Pray that we will not get wrapped up in the negative, in fault-finding, or criticism
during election time. Help us to act as the Lord wants us to act, so no one can find fault with us as
Christians. (Philippians 2:14-15)

Good read, all true.

Tuckeer is a sharp dude. He's the one who started that "dog whistle" metaphor way back in 2008, referring to the cult-like following of obama and how most people can't even hear it.

It is time for the American voter who has a desire to see this country once again stand up and raise her mighty wings, become oil and gas independent, put Americans back to work in the United States of America, stand tall and stop making excuses for who we are...to let the media...all of them, hear from those who have set back and let the neighbors speak for them in elections past. Republicans who go around whining that Mitt can't win might as well step over and join the liberal/progressives who are destroying this country. Of course Mitt can win, and he will win. I have told "pollsters" many times whether exiting a voting station or when interrupted with a phone call, the exact opposite of how I did or intended to vote. Why? Because it is none of their business. If the "polls" are leaning to Obama it is because the American voters are poised to hand a landslide defeat to a man who should never have been elected. A total failure at leading the greatest country on the earth. His one success...talk show guest and guest of the evening for celebrities. He can't lead a cat out of a dog fight much less a country in trouble like this one. Stop reading the garbage and prepare to make your voice heard in the voting booths.

I'll admit that I've had my reservations about Romney, but I always thought he can win.

I actually think Obama's supporters are the ones who are demoralized and all these polls showing him winning is to get the base excited to vote. There's a pretty big gap between republican a dem enthusiasm with Romney winning.Young people were a big reason Obama won last time and they're pretty much disgusted with the result. This is because they have no understanding of how reality works.

They've been spoonfed liberal utopianism all though school. They preach racial tolerance the same time doing nothing about black on white bullying. If you get beat up you should turn the other cheek to prove you're not a racist. If you live in an all white neighborhood, you should be ashamed of it.

I am so sick of these naysayers.

Can't you FEEL it? Can't you hear the rumble? Maybe they are being quiet, but the people are listening and watching and they are sending out vibes that they are ready to get rid of this fraud.

We really are not so stupid as they think.

Pray, fast, talk to your friends, VOTE. We are ready.

God is, whether Romney wins or not. I think God is seeing those who are called in His name humble themselves and praying for Him to restore our land and heal our country. If we Christians do not do this then why blame God for what we have done or not done? Negative thoughts are not from God. They are from the the one who hates us.

I refuse to believe that the same electorate that swept the congressional election in 2010, the same one that ushered in many new Republican governors will turn around and vote for the incompetent incumbent.

I refuse to believe that, here in Ohio, where just last Nov., voters chose 2 to 1 for a Constitutional amendment to keep Ohio from being forced to buy health insurance - that that electorate will turn around and vote for the president and Senator Brown that gave us Obamacare. It does not compute.

I will not let myself contemplate that Romney can lose - I feel it is ordained that he wins, and not by a small margin either.

Reply 16 - Posted by: Conservativegirl, 10/2/2012 8:27:40 AM     (No. 8903779)

The two things to remember are:

1) Literally NO ONE who voted for McCain is going to vote for Zero.

2) Just about all polls give Romney a 14 point lead among Independents.

Therefore, for Zero to win, the lying pollsters expect us to believe that there are far more liberals than there are conservatives in this country. That is major league BS!

I believe Romney can win the election. I am praying many times each day for our country and Mitt Romney. I am praying today and tomorrow for God's blessing upon Mitt Romney in tomorrow night's debates. I hope all who believe in the power of prayer would consider supporting both Ryan and Romney with prayer.

There’s a huge red flag in the Benghazi mess, but conservatives are letting the media get away with using a red herring to avoid it. Give the establishment media credit for obstinacy: Once it settles on a standard narrative or explanation for a particular subject, it shows remarkable discipline in explaining away any evidence that contradicts its own approved spin. So it has been with the media’s 250-day old determination to downplay the scandalous nature of the Obama administration’s treatment of its outpost in Benghazi before, during, and after the terrorist attack there that took four American lives.

Lawmakers across the country are tussling over the Obama administration´s plans to create a small army of assistants to guide millions of Americans as they sign up for new health-insurance options available this fall. Backers of the health-care overhaul face an uphill battle to spread the word about the law, in the face of consumer research that suggests most uninsured people know little about it and are skeptical about the value of health insurance generally. Some Democrats have openly worried that the administration is doing too little to make sure the enrollment process goes smoothly. That is where the "patient navigators"

Labor unions are breaking with President Obama on ObamaCare. Months after the president’s reelection, a variety of unions are publicly balking at how the administration plans to implement the landmark law. They warn that unless there are changes, the results could be catastrophic. The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) — a 1.3 million-member labor group that twice endorsed Obama for president — is very worried about how the reform law will affect its members’ healthcare plans. Last month, the president of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers released a statement calling “for repeal

Since Hillary Clinton last came up to Capitol Hill, we’ve learned senior State Department officials sought to scrub references to terrorism from the infamous Benghazi talking points to insulate Foggy Bottom from political criticism — citing concerns of their “building’s leadership” to justify the demands. The rising temperature of the scandal means it’s possible that Hillary could be asked to return and testify again. If she comes back, she had better be prepared, says House Oversight and Government Reform chairman Darrell Issa. “We are interviewing lots of people, most of them under oath,” Issa says, describing the “methodical” approach his committee

We hear a lot, these days, about how President Obama is not like Lyndon Johnson and thanks be to heaven for that small mercy. The point seems to be that the president doesn´t know how to arm twist, sweet talk, bribe, and emasculate both friend and enemy (of which he truly had neither) in order to further his agenda. Since many among the chattering class believe, still, in that agenda, his is generally regarded as an excellent presidency. Never mind that more than half a century after Johnson declared war on poverty ...

Then they came for the maker of a You Tube video, and – okay, we know how this story ends. But how did we get here?Turns out, it’s a fairly swift sojourn from a president pushing to “delegitimize” a news organization, to threatening criminal prosecution for journalistic activity by a Fox News reporter, James Rosen,

More whistleblowers will emerge shortly in the escalating Benghazi scandal, according to two former U.S. diplomats who spoke with PJ Media Monday afternoon. These whistleblowers, colleagues of the former diplomats, are currently securing legal counsel because they work in areas not fully protected by the Whistleblower law. According to the diplomats, what these whistleblowers will say will be at least as explosive as what we have already learned about the scandal, including details about what really transpired in Benghazi that are potentially devastating to both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?"
