| Hundreds of Muslims in Bangladesh burned at least four Buddhist temples and 15 homes of Buddhists on Sunday after complaining that a Buddhist man had insulted Islam, police and residents said. Members of the Buddhist minority in the Cox’s Bazar area in the southeast of the country said unidentified people were bent on upsetting peaceful relations between Muslims and Buddhists. Muslims took to the streets in the area late on Saturday to protest against what they said was a photograph posted on Facebook that insulted Islam. The protesters said the picture had been posted by a Buddhist

Such HYPOCRITES - they DEMAND an international law against insults of their alleged religion of "Peace" yet they burn other religion's holy places and followers homes. When will the world be rid of these monsters?

I've met a few practicing Buddhists in my life. All were among the most peaceful people I've ever met. Some were former warriors who went Galt. Others were just tired of it all and wanted to find something better. None were dangerous. So, how much longer is the civilized world going to bend over and beg forgiveness for outraging these savages? They say there are moderate Muslims. Where are they? Isn't it like abeing a moderate Nazi? Or a moderate pedophile? Send them home, lock the doors and let them kill each other off. We can buy the oil from whoever is left.

Each jihadi sub group must now show it's dedication by rising to the call of violent jihad. Seizing the assets of one's neighbors and burning the leftovers is a good job if you can get it. There is nothing as dangerous as a 'hostile victim'. The left has been breeding them in America for a hundred years. We are, of course, reminded that we must be more tolerant towards the poor angry Muslims.

I think we should all insult Muslims. I can't draw very well, but here is my contribution: Song to be sung to the tune of "Hooray for Hollywood."
Hooray for Mo-hammed That camel urine drinking Mo-hammed You can say he's just fantastic, he's pederastic his babes really are babes. He has a harem that will drop and bare'em He's Caliph of all the Arabes!
Make way for Mo-hammed His smelly body reeks of third world cred When he chooses to behead the Jewses, he doesn't stop until they're all dead
Watch out for Mo-hammed When he came to town all the Christians fled He loves to ravish, he's such a savage His scimitar is stained with blood red
It's jake with Mo-hammed He sleeps in tents without a single bed He prays to Allah, and Paul Begala...
Well, as you can see, it's kind of a work in progress. Feel free to add your own verses and get back to me.

Regarding #12's post - "Lalo" is Tibetan for "mleccha", the Sanskrit word for the barbarians of the Buddhist prophecies concerning a future war in the mythical land of Shambhala. They are associated by most scholars with Muslims. I can't believe #12 quoted the Kalachakra/Wheel of Time!

#16 - Internet cafes are all over Asia, and most or probably all monasteries have their own computers, and many monks have laptops. The only Buddhist monastics who don't have access to the internet are the ones on retreat.

If Muslim groups are going to continue making a mockery of themselves with infantile overreactions to perceived insult, maybe it's time we returned the favor by repeatedly poking that hyper-sensitive spot until it becomes de-sensitized.
I'm thinking of holding a small event soon, and calling it Balance Your Balls On The Qur'an Day. Soon to be followed up with a Relieve Your Bladder On Images Of Mohammed competition.

Islamabad - Four US soldiers have been killed in an attack in Afghanistan hours after the US announced it will engage in its first formal direct talks with the Taliban after dropping its long-standing demand that the movement renounce ties with al-Qaeda in order for them to progress. A US official said insurgents attacked Bagram Air Base with "indirect fire", suggesting the soldiers were killed by mortars or rockets. There were very few details of the attack, which threatens to impact on the US´s first formal direct talks with the Taliban, due to start on Thursday. One key condition

Amazon and other e-commerce firms are cutting ties with all Minnesotans who earn money by posting links that send traffic to online merchants after lawmakers passed a tweak to state sales tax law. Minnesota E-Fairness legislation, signed by Gov. Mark Dayton on May 23 and going into effect July 1, classifies independent bloggers and online reviewers as a physical presence of a business in the state. This means online companies who pay these people to generate new sales must collect tax not just on those sales, but on all sales in the state. The tax on online

NEW YORK - You might think that moving to a state with no income tax would greatly simplify your tax life. Not so fast. If you´re not careful, it could greatly complicate things and cost you tons in back taxes and penalties. For example, if you are still planning to spend significant time in your former state, you better limit it to less than 183 days. Why? Spending any more time there could mean you´ll be treated as a resident of that state and therefore have to pay tax. And it´s not just days spent in-state

NEW YORK -- At perhaps a bad time in U.S. employment, it seems there´s a "perception gap" between what workers think they´re worth on the job and how employers see them. Analysis by Bryant & Stratton College with help from Wakefield Research from a survey among U.S. adults age 18 to 34 found that 80% of workers believe they are "job ready and possess all the skills, experience and education needed to advance in their desired career path or obtain their next job." Yet 40% of U.S. employers say most entry-level job candidates lack even the basic skills needed

BERLIN/FRANKFURT - European car sales plunged last month to their lowest May level in two decades, eroding manufacturers´ hopes for a recovery this year after a rebound the month before. Figures on Tuesday from the Association of European Carmakers showed Germany, France and Italy, accounting for about half of the embattled region´s sales, suffered declines at or near double-digit percentage levels. Registrations across the 27-nation European Union dropped 5.9 percent to 1.04 million cars from 1.11 million a year ago, the lowest since May 1993 when sales fell below 1 million, the Association said.

Turkey warned on Monday it may bring in the army to help quell nearly three weeks of nationwide anti-government protests as two major union federations went on strike over police violence against demonstrators. The government raised the threat of putting soldiers on the streets after a weekend of violent clashes sparked by the eviction of campers occupying Istanbul´s Gezi Park, the epicentre of the protest movement. Police "will use all their powers" to end the unrest, deputy prime minister Bulent Arinc said in a televised interview. "If this is not enough, we can even utilise the Turkish armed forces

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
