| In retrospect, the Democratic Convention highlighted a liar, Elizabeth Warren. She was hired by Harvard law school because she lied about her ethnicity to gain affirmative action benefits, exaggerated her scholarship which was shoddy, practiced law for years in Massachusetts out of her law school office without being a member of that state's bar -- and possibly at the time a member of no bar at all. She gummed on before the crowd about working for the middle class hiding from the audience that she had made hundreds of thousands of dollars representing big corporations

And she will still get votes and support. What is the matter with people?!
Does Character mean nothing, nothing at all?? Do these people even know what character is?
Does honesty, truth and facts not have a place in their lives at all?
What is it about the left that causes them to continually stand on the wrong side of every issue?

Clarice knows how to tie all the strings together. Elizabeth Warren and her supposed-Indian ancestry, which gained her a teaching position at Harvard, and the law license she doesn't hold, are just the tip of the iceberg.
Actually, it's probably a good thing that she is running for office, because much of her dissembling might have gone un-noticed by Harvard. What an embarrassment to a supposedly superior institution! Never again can Harvard hold its nose in the air as the "crème de la crème" of higher education.
The last four years have been a string of lies by almost all of the players in this Administration, which has become an American tragedy. Hopefully, the American voters have opened their eyes and have had their fill of lies, deceit, distortion, duplicity, dissimulation.
This Administration lies and prevaricates about everything. These people must have been who Mark Twain had in mind when he said: "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."

#3, #4, others: never forget that the Left has one principle, which is the wielding of power. Know that truth and all is clear to you. If they believed free markets would put more power in their hands than statism, we would see Milton Friedman posters in Obama's campaign offices, not Che posters.
#5: Harvard is The New York Times of universities.

Warren is the typical Democrat candidate for political office, liars and frauds. Keep voting Democrat and that's what you get. A perfect example sits in the Oval Office. The Democrat Party needs to be sent a message in November. They should be voted out of all governmental control.

They continue like nothing happened in 2010. This election, we must do the same... Wipe the floor with the libs in 2012!

I surely hope the poles are wrong or we are in for a country with no freedom, a country where no one will want to work - just set back and hope the government takes care of them -----until the money runs out and then, we will all be on the streets, begging for just a small piece of bread. It cannot continue like it is going - the poor will not or can't work because they cannot find a job, the wealthy will loose all their money and they will not be able to promote jobs so the poor will remain poor. We are in for a rocky road. Its like the countries overseas who can't find work, food, or any thing to sustain life.

Morsi is also pressing for the release of the Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, the "Blind Sheikh," who was behind the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center and who is at the center of an extradition battle in the U.K. trying to evade imprisonment in the United States.
This excerpt from Matt Holtzmann confused me (not that hard to do). Isn't the Blind Sheikh serving a life sentence here? Who is fighting extradition? Maybe I'm reading this wrong or missing some context or other.

FTA: "I can think of no other reason why we had so many former Seals and outside contractors in these locations except that we were trying unsuccessfully to retrieve these arms before they fell in the hands of Al Qaeda."
Clarice gives us a pretty good investigative piece on the Benghazi attack, Obama's role in creating the conditions for that attack, and the signs of a tragically-mishandled coverup.
It's interesting to notice, then, the occasional use of rhetoric in places where proof is not yet present to connect some of the pieces.
Asserting an explanation to be true, based on one's inability to see an alternative explanation, is usually what we see in Liberal handwaving. It's as logically sound as asserting a point to be true because one feels it's got to be true.

This opinion piece is NOT about Elizabeth Warren. It's about Obama arming the Islamists who eventually attacked the US Embassy.
Elizabeth Warren is a symptom of a much greater rot at the core of the democrat party. Fast And Furious and the Benghazi cover-up go way beyond Watergate, Rose Law Firm billing records, Cattle Futures, Travel Gate, Valerie Plame, Iran Contra etc etc.
Obama and his administration shouldn't be merely impeached, they should be criminally prosecuted. Which is why I expect a blanket John Doe pardon for anyone why has ever worked for Obama when he gets bounced out of the White House.

The revelations that Obama supplies weapons to Al Qaeda really comes as no surprise. If topic of supplying arms came up during the muslim brotherhood installation effort, take it for granted they DID do it. Of course the FBI hasn't been sent in-might uncover the truth. Bamster has been using the office of the presidency to side with our enemies. I feel sorry for Bill, Hillary probably has a headache most nights-kidding that's a good thing. Get out there and campaign(perfect excuse) for our communist commander in chief, Bill. You might get some on the road.
Anyone notice that OCCIC has been taken down, with promises to come back by now passed Sept 25? The "axe" must be at it again.
Say goodbye to 2016, Hildebeast.

It appears the Republican Party establishment and some conservative commentators have come up with another mistaken tactic to woo the low information and undecided voters. With the avalanche of scandals swirling around the Obama administration and the Democratic Party, the political message promoted by these politicians and pundits is that these scandals are the outcome of a government that has grown too large to control and should therefore be dramatically cut back.

The current abusive conduct by the IRS is breathtaking in its audacity. When you look at last Friday´s testimony Acting Commisioner Steven Miller there is a clear disconnect -- the doesn´t think anyone did anything illegal, unconstitutional, or even wrong. Apart from a stark posture of arrogance and negative body language, he represents a very large group of people we need to worry about. This guy is beyond zealotry -- he has gone straight to certainty that he is right, his actions are justified and he can´t be touched. He´s like Obama´s buddy Bill Ayers

After running an errand at the Courthouse, I decided to pop into the Barrister Bar and Bistro for a quick bite. The place was packed and Charlie, the maitre d´, shrugged his shoulders apologetically. "There´s a huge party here this afternoon, but I can seat you at the bar if you don´t mind." Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

By all accounts, today´s college campuses grow more intolerant by the day. We move closer to the old Soviet Empire, where political dissidents risked the gulag for even joking about Marxism. In the U.S., however, the hate crimes concern anything that touches on race, ethnicity, gender differences, diversity, and sexuality (see here and here). Even an old-fashioned ethnic joke almost guarantees mandatory counseling. Skeptics need only look at the pervasiveness of campus speech codes, coerced sensitivity training, the mandatory injection of multicultural propaganda into courses, and other top-down censorship.

BALTIMORE — Trying to reset the agenda amid scandal in Washington, President Barack Obama turned his attention Friday to the economy and said lawmakers should spend every day resolute on how to help it grow and get people back to work. “Our focus cannot drift,” he said. After a week that put him on the defensive and consumed by a trio of political controversies, Obama left the turmoil behind on a short helicopter flight about 40 miles north to Baltimore. The city has had its share of tough times in its move from an industrial to service economy

"We´ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing do to with," said Hillary Clinton to the families of the four Americans killed at Benghazi and others gathered at a September 2012 memorial service. Her boss, President Barack Obama, had been reciting the same lie in one forum after another in the days following the September 11 attack on the American outpost in Benghazi. To give the lie credence, his Justice Department immured the producer of the video, a Coptic Christian named Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, in a West Texas prison.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
