In Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 3 a.m. television ad in the 2008 primary campaign, we heard the sound of a ringing phone and saw sleeping children. In ominous tones, a narrator warned that “something is happening in the world” and asked, “Who do you want answering the phone?” Well, it’s 2012, and — the phone is still ringing. Please, somebody answer the damn thing! The story of the terror attack in Benghazi is that neither Clinton nor the president who made her secretary of state responded to the real emergency when it came. The biggest foreign-policy crisis of the last four years

Goodwin is a Democrat but a fair and decent man, and I always value his opinions, even when I disagree with them. As to Koch, if he stays with Obama he goes down 1000% in my estimation......I am amazed, in fact, that he is holding fast to Barack as fact after fact come out and as all becomes obvious. If he sticks with Obama, THAT will be Ed Koch's legacy.

The larger story here is how the msm has worked 24/7 to try to bury this scandal to get Obie off the hook. In seeing my way through the woods this morning, I'm still seeing it as Romney by 5 next month..that's right, I said it again.

Longer-term, however, what are we going to do about the msm that acts as a government-run news organization of determining who sits in the Oval Office? Or is it too late now? Even Putie is proud of how we have copied the communist system.

Maybe the Romney folks should do their own 3 am ad. Find the guy that SNL canned as the Obama lookalike and another actress to play the Mrs.

Maybe Dear Leader(US) can say something like, "it's 3am, I need to get my sleep cause I have an early tee time and then have to get over to a couple fundraisers."

It is time to face the ugly fact that our so-called "major media" in collusion with the left have turned this nation into a third world country. We are Venezuela of the North, and aside from the embarrassment of this descent into marginal existence, the real world problems that go along with it are such that it is unlikely we will be able to resolve them without some type of cataclysmic eruption, either political or physical.

What is needed is for some of the states to stand up, resist the federal government in its violations of the 10th Amendment and refuse to enforce the OBVIOUSLY unconstitutional demands that this bloated body foists upon them. This might be the only way to rescue the country from the path to perdition that it has been set upon by the lunatic liberal left.

So now we must decide what direction this country will be going in November. I hope all of the people who are considering voting for Obama will take a hard look at what America will become. You vote for Obama, you will be voting for Obamacare. You will be voting for more taxes. You will be voting for a decreased defense. You will be voting for less money in your pocket. Most of all, you will be voting for less freedom.

I vote for Mitt Romney.

The Wicked Witch has been all over the world for nearly four years, not necessarily in secret but on the low low. She's been "meeting" with world leaders who are not part of our allies for 3.5 years on a routine so regular it's astounding her body can take the miles and punishment.

She's Not Doing It For America

One thing we know about her, she's using the Office as a means of securing more for herself and Bill.

I like your idea, #6, but I believe the woman who played Aunt Esther (LaWanda Page) died a few years ago. I doubt if even she could duplicate the permanent scowl and piercing hatred in the eyes of michelle. They would also have to make a special set of barracuda teeth for her. It would make for an effective ad though.

I think the rancher has made some good observations about Hillary. As Sec of State, why is she in these obscure countries where the US has little at stake instead of paying attention to what's going on in Libya? I think she has her mind on the "Clinton Initiative" which is what her daughter has chosen as her focus in life. Hillary is looking out for herself and her own, hoping that Billy Jeff doesn't screw up the foundation that she view's as Chelsea's legacy (and what she no doubt hopes will be Chelsea's springboard into national and world power).

Next Clinton and Rice should both be pressured to resign. Zero needs to be thoroughly 'investigated' when he is out of office! We will find out that we had a total fraud in the WH, a Manchurian candidate of the first order! During the first debate, I’d like Romney to confront Obama with some direct questions. For example:

Precisely what ideas do you have in mind for fundamentally transforming America?
What are you hiding that has caused you to go to such great lengths to conceal most of your past?
If you’re an American author, why did you describe yourself for years as a Kenyan author?
How do you explain having a Social Security number from Connecticut?
Why did you vote “Present” AKA Choosing Not To Vote on such a great multitude of issues?

The "call" is answered by a military officer that is on duty all night as his job are the "Codes". The pres never picks up and unscreened phone. As for Hillary, her staff answeres the phone at night. Not her.
It may be the staff that hangs up the 3 am call as bogus! I get it, but there is no 3am call that the pezzo novantes are going to answer.

Hillary Clinton may end up deciding she wants to spend the 935 days until election 2016 making corporate speeches and spoiling her grandchild. Recent events have exposed weaknesses in Clinton’s supposedly impregnable armor, gaps through which a Democratic or Republican challenger could damage, perhaps even defeat her. The bad headlines to which she has been subjected are enough to make anyone—anyone who isn’t a Clinton—think twice about running for president. Look at the polls. This week’s Fox News poll has Clinton’s favorable rating at its lowest point in six years. She is at 49 percent favorable, 45 percent unfavorable—similar to her

President Barack Obama used his Thursday press conference to diagnose Republicans as fear-mongering, spiteful, obstinate, petulant and obstructive, as he again declared mission-accomplished in his effort to put the nation’s health-care under government control. “I recognize that their party is going through the stages of grief — anger and denial and all that stuff — and we’re not at acceptance yet,” Obama told reporters, where he announced that his Obamacare network had claimed 8 million subscribers. Obama coupled his passive-voice diatribe with his more-in-sorrow-than-anger promise that he “would much prefer a constructive conversation with the Republicans about how do we get some

The captain of a ferry that sank off the coast of South Korea Wednesday, leaving nearly 300 people missing, is under investigation as a possible criminal and was one of the first people to escape the doomed vessel, Coast Guard officials said. Lee Joon-seok, 69, left the ferry on a lifeboat 32 minutes after reporting an accident, officials said. The captain appeared on Korean television today, his face covered by a gray hoodie. “I am really sorry and deeply ashamed,” he said, as he was being questioned at the Mokpo Coast Guard Office. It´s unclear which of his actions could be considered criminal.

Soon after the tea party era began in Congress in 2011, President Obama and House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan each released their budgets, proposing how much the government should tax and spend over the rest of the decade. Three years into that budget showdown, Mr. Ryan and his Republican colleagues are winning. Government spending has slowed, and Mr. Obama’s plans for higher taxes and higher spending have fallen by the wayside. “The discretionary spending has in fact been driven by Republicans post-2010 clamping down,” said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former director of the Congressional Budget Office who is now president of the

Remember when Lois Lerner, in answering a planted question at an American Bar Association conference, admitted the IRS had targeted conservative groups but tried to pass it off as the work of rogue agents — “our line people in Cincinnati”? Today we know there were indeed federal agents involved. But they weren’t rogue, and they weren’t confined to IRS workers in Cincinnati. Thanks to a Freedom of Information request by Judicial Watch, we now have an e-mail Lerner sent to colleagues noting the Department of Justice was looking into criminal prosecutions of these tax-exempt groups. We know something else, too. These investigations

Ezra Klein, in his new capacity as one of the impresarios behind Vox, has written a pair of attention-grabbing posts — here, and then here — defending the proposition that Obamacare has, in some sense, “won,” and that conservatives who can’t come to terms with that victory can’t come to terms with reality itself. Reading them, it struck me that this argument would benefit from laying down some specific markers for the near future, because Klein seems to move back and forth between two definitions of success. At times, as when he writes that Obamacare “has won its survival” and

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers.
