The Tea Party is regularly ridiculed and declared "dead" by the mainstream press and their elitist allies in Washington and Hollywood. Not surprisingly, when Tea Partiers show up and rally by the thousands, they get all but ignored, while 30 Occupy Wall Street crazies in masks will always get wall-to-wall coverage and admiration. TV shows and movies take cheap shots at Tea Party conservatives, often linking them to murder-of-the-week cases on insipid crime procedurals or dismissing them as “birthers.” But a new Associated Press poll shows tea party supporters may have the last laugh in November.
The Tea Parties are the hope of America. They are true reformers, not in politics for a free cell phone or in the pay of some lobbyist. Because they are not part of the entrenched media and Beltway elite establishment they have been relentlessly attacked. In a way this just shows the corruption of their enemies.
#4. Be patient. Our enemies have worked diligently for decades while willfully ignorant citizens slept or called those of us who raised the alarm in the 60s/70s crazy extremists. It's going to take a few election cycles and decades of hard work to undo the damage - if the citizens will remain alert for any move on the communists part. Clean out the universities and media centers, and trim the federal government back to its constitutional limits. Don't like that? Then use the amending process where-by the constitution can be tweaked.
The MSM and Dingy Hairy keep saying the T.E.A. movement is dead, but they hope saying it enough will make it true. The silent majority decided to speak when the Dems, behind locked doors, decided to cram obamacare down our throats. The was the straw which broke the camel's back. Conservatives comprise more than just Republicans. This, DC fails to realize.
Dittos #2. Criticism and defamation of TEA party people by the MSM and other individuals are only showing off their corruption for everyone to see. The TEA party is the anti-corruption party and true patriotic Americans do not like corruption anywhere in our government. Corruption eventually kills countries. The Øbama regime is corrupt from top to bottom.
Me and my family will also be voting along the Tea Party lines. The other side has the Obamaphone people who will be lining up for their illegal payments from SEIU to vote for Obama. So we need to continue to be enthusiastic and pledge to vote, and get out the vote for Romney/Ryan to win. This is a battle we cannot fail at.
Even if I've never been able to attend a Tea Party Rally, I do consider myself to be part of the movement. I would crawl over broken glass to vote in this election. No way could I ever vote for a dem and still look at myself in the mirror.
An interesting moment on "Dancing with the Stars" this week. When she was interviewed, Pamela Anderson (apropos of nothing) made a snide, gratuitous remark to the effect that, "Well, Bristol Palin will have the backing of the whole Tea Party." Happy to report that Pamela Anderson was voted off the very first go-round.
About six months ago I registered to vote in the state where I moved. I had to go to the post office and get a stamp and the lady behind the counter asked me, ''So, you're going to vote in the next election?'' My face went train wreck serious and I replied, ''With a vengeance.'' She looked down and mumbled, ''I know what you mean.''
22 I have never been in a Poll. The tea party doesnt know about me. I think there are alot more like me out there who get news online and mind our business. Well, I pray regularly that there are, anyways.

For those of you in Las Vegas, the original TEA Party Express bus makes another stop here tomorrow, Sunday Sept. 30th, at Ricardo's Mexican Restaurant on West Flamingo. Let's let them see us again, and then they'll hear us for sure on Nov. 6th.
We need a victory margin big enough to shut down the post-election lawsuits before they even get started.
Obama announces to the world that 'the future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam' but remains SILENT when Tea Party supporters and Christians are slandered. .... It certainly does sound as though Madonna's screech was on target when she referred to the 'black Muslim in the White House.'
We put a big scare into the socialist media when we showed up out of nowhere and lined up out the door to buy a chicken sandwich. Wait until they see us lined up down the block to vote for Romney. Listen for the fear in their voices on election night when they know it's over for them. Watch Letterman melt down.
This is OUR country. WE settled it. WE built it. WE define its culture and values, and WE are taking it back in November.
Obama offers only the slavery of dependency. WE have always offered the dignity of work and the pride that comes from freedom. The Tea Party agenda IS the black agenda.
As a loyal Tea Partier, I've been hoping to inform my vote with the help of the objective MSM, that bastion of truth that is totally not corrupt. So far, I've learned the choice is between an evil, greedy bully of gays who gives women cancer, and the omniscient, ever-benificent Savior Of All Mankind who also happens to be an economic super-genius. What a dilemma - can someone help me decide who to mark my ballot for? I don't want to let the Tea Party down, but it's really confusing out here.
On the days that I teach, I keep a running total of Obama bumper stickers/house signs and house signs for Romney/Ryan. It's rare that I see a day with more than 1 or 2 BO/Joe bumper stickers and many of those are from 2008. On one 15 mile stretch of road getting close to the college, I've seen only 1 Obama house sign, and every time I make the trip, there are more Romney house signs. There are even a few homes that have an empty chair sitting in the front yard.
Quietly working fb with status updates that are pointed but not offensive. There are still undecided and uninformed voters out there. High gas and diesel, grocery price hikes, debt being piled on our grands, things all can relate to. We all have a sphere of influence. Use it!
41 and 33,34,35,36,37. Contact all your conservative friends who have like-minded kids in college. Make sure they get absentee ballots for their kids so they can vote. Every vote counts and new voters are not familiar with the process.
This is one of the most encouraging postings I have seen on Lucianne. Add another 2 votes from the sad state of Oregon. We vote by mail out here and never ever miss a vote. Also, thanx to #51 for reminding me there are other empty chairs in the front yard. Mine is still there...lonely, but there.
I am from Pennsylvania and a Tea Party Person. I have been called , militant, nut case, radical, fiend. I cling to my Bible and Gun. I also vote and you can count on it so add me to the 41 Million on hold
A shout out from Tennessee. We are going red as blood! I have Romney/Ryan stickers all over the back of my windshield, and putting them in mailboxes up and down streets. I have a son in graduate school in Charleston voting abstee. So keep adding to that 41 million because that lying socialist days are numbered.
Once you've gotten your Obama cell phone for free, why go to the trouble of voting? I mean, what's he going to do after he's gotten your vote the second time, take you on vacation with him and all the females?
Don't be a chump, typical Obama base-voter, stay inside where it's warm. Watch your big screen plasma and eat Ding Dongs. The polls say he's going to win without your vote.
I am so proud to say I am a tea party member. I was proud when we met in Searchlight Nv. to hear Sarah Palin speak. We met in a field of weeds thousands of us. We left the field in better shape than it was before we got there. Not a single scrap of paper or trash of any kind left behind. Yup I am proud to be a tea party member and I am also working as a volunteer in the Romeny headquarters. I pray every day that Romney will win and we will get the commies out of D.C. I might be getting old but I still try to do my part for my country. Let's all get people out to vote. I live in a senior community and see many many Romney signs around the neighborhood. We seniors can make a big difference so don't be lazy get out there and vote and take someone with you.
Like many , we screen our calls. Haven't taken ONE of the phone surveys. My neighbors have told me that they have taken phone survey calls , but they turn out to be local DNC reps putting down Republican candidates sometimes with lies. Not going to waste my time with them. Working on friends and neighbors to network out info from internet while we still have Free Speech. Also have not given one cent to RNC this time round. I give directly to the candidates that I choose. Some of them are not in my district but the RNC has no spine or credibility. TEA Party is the only way now. While we remain coiled and quiet, they will have no idea till November. Tic toc tic..
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear them from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." My husband and I were at the first Tea Party Rally in Washington--very alive still and on fire! One good man and God are a majority. 41 million + and God are an astonishing force, unstoppable in His might and majesty- a cause for rejoicing! Pray. Fast. Work. Believe. All things are possible!
Every time I take the dog out for a walk or go running, I see more and more Romney Ryan signs. It really is incredible how fast they are popping up. In 2008 , the exact opposite was true. Tons of Obama Biden and few McCain Palin, so I knew we were in trouble. Saw two Obama signs at the homes of Obamaphoners. Both homes were run down and unkempt. Guess they're waiting for their Obamalawnservice. A relative is active in the Mass Republican Party and they are seeing a tremendous increase in requests for signs and buttons. It's a phenomenon they have never experienced before. Many days even before they open their HQ, there's a line outside the door . I am resolute and optimistic. Neither broken glass, a blizzard , a hurricane or a tornado can keep from voting. GOTV !
#41, your mention of Ricardo's gave me goosebumps! I worked there for 20 years. I would love to find out if you know the same people I know. Perhaps I even know YOU!
Our middle 20's son is visiting us after taking a trip across the country and back. He is going to drive 2 states away to vote because he hasn't changed his registration yet and there won't be time now. I am so proud of him! P.S. He thinks it's awesome that I'm gonna be a poll observer! That kid was raised right!
I think there are a lot more Tea Party sympathizers than this article supposes.
Many people are very quiet about their approval of the group and, for one reason or another, do not actively participate. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the "quietness" is social...their friends and work comrades are all Democrats, as well as are some of their family members and neighbors. I know a few such, and I bet anyone reading this comment does as well.
In short, I think there are a lot of "Stealth Republicans" out there who will surprise everyone...and then they will lie in the Exit polls.
They might not vote Republican again, but they sure will this year.
#6 - Today I'm enlisted in Romney's army...my enlistment expires the moment I cast my ballot. From then on, he's either with me, or he's against me, to use GWB's standard. No Manhattan Republican half-arsed, call-me-a-real-conservative, best we could hope to get Boehner/McConnell compromise on repealing Obamacare, SCOTUS appointments, bailouts, stimulus, or spending/borrowing/taxation. I'll be the guy waving the Gadsden flag at his inauguration. Then we'll see about re-upping in 2016.
We've not gone anywhere. As Mr. Clint Eastwood said, we just tend to "play it a little more close to the vest". We're here and by the end of the day on Nov. 6, the world will be astonished by the victory of our quiet army of strength and resolve.
I marched in the first TEA party and set a goal to get 3 people to vote R. I found 3 people who had never voted before (in their 60's) !!! I got 2 out of 3 to support Romney. I can still taste the bitter bile of Obamacare being forced down my throat. I will never forget. May I suggest that we all wear red on election day? Let's send a visual message too.
Mrs G and I will be going to Chick-Fil-A after voting. Suggest as many Tea Partiers that can do the same. Lets show them exactly who turned out to vote as the MSM, RINOs and the Repub Establishment will spin this as 'their people' showing up. If we swamp CFA again we may get a few to see that the power is in the Tea.
Count me in too. I was at the first TEA Party in San Diego, and knew I had come home.
PS: I'm encouraging people to NOT vote absentee, but vote in person. They count the in-person votes first, and only get to the absentee votes late at night. (Which can skew the vote temporarily & discourage turn-out further West.)
While I'm in California... and we're the minority here... I hope those of you in the East Coast and Mid-West, vote in-person. I'm proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you!!
I'm working on some PA and FL friends. Its amazing when i Talk to my less political friends about the economy. There is a lot of anger and frustration out there. We can win this thing if we fight for it.
our group spent the day at a local ( but large ) festival in southern nj. we handed out romney and agenda 21 info ( prionted at oue own expense). some gave the literature back to us saying we were preaching to the choir ( they intend to vote for romney and know whats's what) ) and to pass it on to uninformed people. some engaged us in political conversations , all anti barry.
Yeah, and it's too bad that Romney and the RINO establishment couldn't even force themselves to mention--let alone thank--the Tea Party patriots at any time during the whole republican convention. I guess 42 million people--that are trying to save this country--aren't worth it?
The big Zero is hell bent to destroy this country. He even said to: "... to fundamentally change America..."
Nov 6th is a do or die date for this country. Socialism or capitalism. Think of how many Americans gave their lives in the war for Independence and subsequent wars. What would our founding fathers think about the losers who are destroying the country? Get every conservative citizen out to vote. Go Tea Partiers.
Good idea about going to Chick-fil-a after voting. I'm here in Ft. Worth, near Carswell AFB and will pop over there afterwards.
I have my empty chair next to my mailbox. Romney/Ryan bumper sticker. Plus, my homemade PowerPoint sign and then laminated, a 5"x8.5" full color pic of Obozo with the Pinnochio nose that says in BIG TYPE, "ONE-TERM" and "FIASCO".
I never vote early. Easier to cheat (I think). Prayers for all of us willing to fight for our country.
They didn't plan on us revolting against them. Heck, it's in our DNA.
I'm heartsick over the tortured Ambassador Stevens and those SEALS.
After being called a teabagger for the last couple of years, and watching Obama destroy our country, I'm pretty ticked off and ready to vote. And I've got a sizable bunch of friends and relatives, and some Rush Babies, who feel the same way.

Don't vote too early and remember the bags of early votes for W. found floating in the Ca. bay AFTER the election. There were enough to change the popular vote. early votes will be lost lost or shredded if possible and GI votes will not reach the counting tables. Absentee ballots were not counted. Broken glass indeed -- Give me a well oiled slick surface to slide on to cast a counted ballot.
We're quiet but we'll be in place at the polls on the big day. We lined up with a shocking number of people at a Massachusetts Chick-Fil-A. I don't think people realize how many unhappy voters there are out there and that's REAL GOOD for our side.
WASHINGTON- For months, the talk was all about computer code. About response times. About glitches and bugs. People who didn´t know a URL from an http were blithely expounding on software snags and web design, thanks to the clunky launch of healthcare.gov, the insurance marketplace for the government´s big health care overhaul. With the website improving and tech chatter settling down, the conversation about the Affordable Care Act, or "Obamacare," is turning in other directions. (Snip) Or an agenda? The debate over President Barack Obama´s health care law has gradually morphed into a broader discussion about
George Zimmerman´s girlfriend is asking a Seminole County court to lift a no-contact provision against Zimmerman so the couple can "talk and be together," according to a court document obtained by CNN on Monday. Zimmerman was arrested on November 18 at his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe´s Apopka, Florida, home after the two had a heated fight. According to a police report about the incident, Scheibe said that after an argument, Zimmerman broke a table with a shotgun and then pointed it at her "for a minute." Zimmerman is charged with aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of domestic violence
She wakes to the sound of breathing. The smaller children lie tangled beside her, their chests rising and falling under winter coats and wool blankets. A few feet away, their mother and father sleep near the mop bucket they use as a toilet. Two other children share a mattress by the rotting wall where the mice live, opposite the baby, whose crib is warmed by a hair dryer perched on a milk crate. Slipping out from her covers, the oldest girl sits at the window. On mornings like this, she can see all the way across Brooklyn to the Empire
On Sunday´s NBC Meet the Press, host David Gregory used the death of former South African President Nelson Mandela to lecture American politicians: "Mandela refused to be consumed by hatred and insisted on working toward a common purpose with his political foes. That, seems to me, is what is missing from this era of argument in Washington." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] However, Gregory portrayed President Obama as the victim of such polarization, rather than one of its instigators: "The election of our 44th president was similarly an example of how countries can overcome
The top 40 percent of households by before-tax income actually paid 106.2 percent of the nation’s net income taxes in 2010, according to a new study by the Congressional Budget Office. At the same time, households in the bottom 40 percent took in an average of $18,950 in what the CBO called “government transfers” in 2010. Taxpayers in the top 40 percent of households were able to pay more than 100 percent of net federal income taxes in 2010 because Americans in the bottom 40 percent actually paid negative income taxes, according to the CBO study entitled, “The Distribution of
All three networks on Monday morning highlighted the appearance of the Obamas at the Kennedy Center Honors, but only ABC fawned over "fashion win" of First Lady. Lara Spencer enthused that " one of the stars of the show was Michelle Obama." An excited Spencer explained that Mrs. Obama looked "absolutely ravishing in a flowing teal gown as she accompanied President Obama." The co-host declared, "Another big fashion win for the First Lady. CBS This Morning offered a full report on the various performers who were honored, but co-anchor Charlie Rose avoided ABC´s superlatives.
BANGUI, Central African Republic — Dozens of young men stood waiting for storm clouds to pass, as wind stirred up swirls of red dust on the largely deserted street in Central African Republic’s capital. Through the drizzle, they spotted a man in a flowing white robe traditionally worn by Muslims, hand-in-hand with his adolescent son. The style of dress was enough to confirm that this was their enemy. Hungry for revenge, the crowd descended upon the pair. The man’s terrified son broke away, and fled on foot, abandoning his father as the knife-wielding mob clutched the middle-aged man. Muslim rebels
The question all week long was this: Who are you going to believe, an illegal alien or the president of the United States of America? Obviously, if it’s a president who once went by an alias, Barry Soetoro, you go with Uncle Omar, 100 percent, no questions asked. And so it was that the White House finally admitted to another, uh, misstatement — despite previous denials, Barack/Barry did sleep on his beloved Uncle Omar’s couch in Cambridge when he first moved here to attend Harvard Law School (speaking of which, we’re still waiting to see the president’s grades and his LSAT scores). But the
How do you get your arms around the catastrophe known as Obamacare? Is it even possible? At this point, I’m not sure it is. The list of individual disasters which threaten to ruin one-sixth of the U.S. economy and what has been, up until now, the best healthcare system in the world is exhaustive, and exhausting. The examples I will identify here barely scratch the surface. First but by no means foremost, we have the supposedly new and improved HealthCare.gov. Except it’s not, even the visible part. Stories still abound of people still failing to get in or to get through the enrollment
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack,
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their
A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance." "I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveated, "but the whole
