Can the Democratic Psyops
Boost Obama?

If it doesn't pass the smell test, it is probably not true. We keep being told that Obama is leading, that the race is close at best, that voters have accepted a 'new normal' for unemployment, that the economy is improving, that the price of gas means nothing, that Romney is making fatal gaffes. We were even told that the 9/11 attacks which left our ambassador to Libya dead made Romney look bad. Every week is a good week for Obama and a bad week for Romney according to the media.

The psyops are analogous to the proverbial drowning man grasping at straws. The proverbial man drowns with a handful of straw. The psyops live on to "op" again.

The psyops provide cover for the next phase, which is either massive cheating or simply declaring the winner due to unforseen circumstances.

Remember how Democrats used inaccurate exit polling to claim fraud?

In January 1991, during Desert Storm, "Baghdad Bob" told all the American soldiers that Tom Cruise and Homer Simpson were back home having their way with our wives... I give the same credence to that report as I do that Obama, despite the dire state of the country, is ahead in the polls

Paging First Amendment lawyers. Despite Constitutional protections, if the press were really collaborating to distort the news in favor of swinging the election, wouldn't this constitute deliberate election fraud? Conspiracy? Racketeering? If you've got expertise in this area, I'd really like to know.

The MSM are slitting their own throats, destroying what little credibility they might have once had, and can no longer be considered "main stream." Main stream news now comes from talk radio and the internet.

Bye, bye network news!

I often find myself falling victim to the MSM fraud, and start believing what they are saying (lying). I hope and pray that the REAL poll on Nov. 6 gets rid of the scourge of America!

I am with you #4. The first amendment presupposes a fair and balanced press, not an industry that has mostly chosen sides and attempt to sway elections. They are abusing their privilages to the point of criminal conspiracy.

Plenty of businesses have been found in violation of non-discrimination laws on flimsier statistical evidence of bias.

We have all seen the history book pictures of the liberation of Paris in WWII. The French public chased down the local prostitutes who had openly collaborated with the German occupying forces and shaved their heads in the streets.

If We The People are successful in ousting the progressive/socialist forces among us, we should conduct a symbolic head-shaving of the presstitutes who have openly collaborated with them.

We should pointedly drop subscriptions to the most flagrant newspapers and similarly quit watching the LSM television networks.

If they want to murder freedom there is no reason the victims should pay for their ammunition.

Excellent analysis towards the end of this informative article describing the Obama voter. Yes, he will have his 45% at the very least.

Agreed all....all the polling and feel good stories (especially recently) have seemed to be part of battle space preparation for the coming lawsuits (and more). The left is going to do "Florida 2000" times 10, all over the country. If they can create enough doubt and turmoil (with the help of the press), they can attempt to throw the results into question. Creating what they do best, another manufactured crisis.
...broken glass is right, they can't steal it if it ain't close...

Yes, #10, after Romney wins the election, we must hunt up all Empty Chair's media collaborators and punish them. Shave their heads, like the French did (and worse).

I claim Chris Matthews (though he has little hair left) and Rachel Madcow. I've got my sheep shear clippers ready

#10 Most conservatives I know dropped subscriptions to liberal newspapers and magazines years ago. We avoid movies with the worst "star" liberals and I will boycott products when they endorse liberal causes.
I realized years ago living in California, the only vote I have, is with my pocketbook.

I'm in agreement with those who think that the bogus polls are in part a pretext to claim fraud after Zero loses. If the Resident doesn't achieve a victory approximately as large as his in-the-tank pollsters are claiming, then something is rotten in Denmark. Of course, the Legacy Media and their pet polling branches are astonishingly pure in their allegiance to the Left (which is the Democratic Party). And what is being attempted here is definitely psyops. To be sure, getting our own "conservative" pundits to accept, uncritically, the results of these slanted polls is disheartening. So I am tuning them out until this mess comes to a merciful conclusion on November 6. As horrible as the economy has been, I don't see how Obama could be ahead in any state that's not already solidly Democrat.

Besides, Romney has been preparing to launch an ad blitz at the right time. I would imagine that time is near. Be of good cheer.

All: The American press has been playing politics as long as the USA has been around, if not longer. Know your history. Present day political press accounts are nothing when compared to the mid to late 1800's. The Hearst name should also ring a bell. Nothing new here really.

The big problem is the gullibility of the public, lack of real education and critical thinking skills, along with the broadly brushed welfare queens (and princes).

Reply 17 - Posted by: NYbob, 9/27/2012 10:43:53 AM     (No. 8893390)

Or someone besides Lucianne, Drudge and the Blaze could compete with them. At least come prepared to interviews that will surely stress the latest DNC talking points. Every non communist should be using their network time as teachable moments. Then will someone get a clue and launch a counterpoint? IF there was a traditional based channel it would be easy to have a show that just plays all the network headlines that they felt were important when Bush was President. You could have Matt Lauer crying about high gas prices... at $2.00. Or David Gregory upset about the latest unemployment numbers... 6%. Hey, if a half wit like Jon Stewart can do it, literally anyone can.

Agree with No. 15. Recently I heard from my lib brother. We were talking about the recent midwest heat-wave & he was asking about family members that he knows have been struggling with long-term unemployment. Not really trying to make a campaign talking point, I told him that mid-summer they had to turn off all AC because it was unaffordable. He didn't say anything for a long moment & I think it really hit home with him that many people that he knows personally are suffering. I know that he would never vote for a Republican, but I could sense by his pause that he is having second thoughts about BO's Robin Hood economy. He might just stay home & not vote.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? Remember president Obama´s first pitch of the MLB 2010 season at the Washington Nationals ballpark? It sailed towards the home team dugout. While he couldn´t throw a baseball within ten feet of home plate -- even if it took a double bounce on the way in -- Obama has tossed perfect incendiary strikes inside his own clubhouse, sending his entire team to the disabled list, demoted to the minor leagues, or banned from the game for life. In fact Obama´s entire liberal-progressive league has forfeited the rest of the season -- and then some.

Hey, liberals! Obama thinks you are stupid. Yeah, he really does. He knew Benghazi was terrorism before he didn´t know it was terrorism. What person ever says what he really knows at a funeral? Eulogies bearing little or no resemblance to the deceased or to the facts are trotted out by people who are often bad actors, who though they know better, lie anyway. It´s almost acceptable behavior. But any truth about the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christ Stevens and three other Americans appears to have been put six feet under as far as our current administration is concerned. The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Is the worm turning against Barack Obama? After four-plus years of being given the benefit of the doubt by the bulk of the US media, the President now suddenly feels more vulnerable. Today both the New York Times and the Washington Post have run prominent and angry editorials and columns slamming the administration for its attempt to criminalise a Fox News reporter James Rosen for working a State Department source to obtain a story. The "Rosen Affair"--as it is now known--is poisoning the well in Washington at an alarming rate for Mr Obama, with an indignant White House press corps
