I've thought exactly the same from day 1 of this disaster, and cannot bring myself to call this fraud "president" without using scare quotes. The root of this not-real "presidency" is something totally dishonest and subversive, and I'm confident history will end up proving this, once all the facts are known. Maybe between W and Mitt the history books will just show a blank space in their listing of American presidents.

The presidency is supposed to be bigger than that, and Romney seems to understand that.

What a sniveling place holder we have in our House.

Come on, November 6th!

All he cares about is the applause, the power and the bennies. But we all know that. What is astounding is his lack of committment to his office. Basically he's a slouch.

Newt has lots of stories and illustrations that Romney needs.

I wish Romney would throw out some of the zingers about the waste and outrages. People like illustrations. It helps them get their minds around the points.

I'm a long time Newt fan, and I hope Romney will listen to him.

I hope America is not beyond a time when a J. Edgar Hoover style investigation would reveal all the lies and crimes that installed this President. I don't care if he is cancelled because he submitted a forged Selective Service record, stole someone's SS number, or knowingly altered a birth certificate, any reason to open the floodgates of lies will do, but if this country is going to survive, this megacrime has to be revealed. ALL of the 'sealed' records, ALL of the collaborators, need to be exposed. Along with the plotting, propagandists in the media who enabled all of it. I think the chances of any of this happening are almost zero.

Romney will never be able to articulate the message of conservatism and the truth about Obama's radicalism because he is not ideological.
This isn't a criticism, but a fact the electorate must face. Romney is a problem-solver and critical-thinking businessman. He is competent, moral, and solid as granite, but we will never see the passion and courage that Newt displays because Newt is ideological in the most conservative sense.

They would both do a good job as President, but Newt has the advantage of making decisions based on conservative ideology. Romney will make all his decisions based on what will solve the problem. That's why people are nervous about him sticking to conservative values and ideas. It's also why he came up with Romneycare...he was trying to solve a problem. And I'm confident he will run the country this way. It may not overturn Obamacare, but it will fix the economy. Romney's not a sell-out by any means and he remains principled in dealing with our allies. All in all, he'd do a good job.
...but he's no Newt.
