A SEAL’s Own Story, Bin Laden and All
The worst it has to say about President Obama is that
none of the fighters who caught bin Laden wanted to help
re-elect him, and that he never followed through on a promise
to invite them to the White House for a beer.

Almost two-thirds of federal employees voted for Hillary Clinton during the presidential election, according to a new survey. The poll also found that six of 10 felt that the election itself gave Americans a negative impression of federal service. So it may come as no surprise that some federal employees are considering leaving their employment when President-elect Donald Trump assumes office. “More than one in four federal workers, or 28 percent, will definitely or possibly consider leaving their jobs after Jan. 20 when Trump is sworn into office and becomes leader of the executive branch,” according to the survey conducted

In the first days of 2017, Washington D.C. was empty. It was a city holding its breath. Secret Service police officers in balaclavas waited at the White House as a black SUV carrying departing staffers passed. It had not been so long ago that they came into the city as if they owned it and the entire country. Now the same men and women who ran and ruined the lives of millions were scrolling through job postings on their smartphones. They watched Obama speak from faded screens at sports bars and they cried. They knew it was coming. Day 1. The parties

Trump’s Cabinet doesn’t look much
like America. It looks more like his voters.

With the announcement that he was nominating former Georgia governor Sonny Perdue to lead the Department of Agriculture, Donald Trump´s Cabinet is complete. There´d been rumors that Trump was looking to find a Hispanic candidate to fill the position, but that didn´t happen. Which means, as our Ed O´Keefe notes, that Trump´s is the first Cabinet since 1980 in which no member is Hispanic. That´s interesting in part because the country itself has gotten so much more diverse since Ronald Reagan was elected. In 1980, about 6 percent of the population was Hispanic and about 80 percent of the country

This is it, the last full day of President Barack Obama’s tenure. Damn, it feels better than I thought it would. Forgive my smile as I type. As President Obama makes his way out the door like a drunk who has been tossed from a bar and is determined to smash every glass on his way out, it’s important to take a moment to reflect upon all the good he’s done while he occupied 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Yes, you read that right – thank you, President Obama. No man has done more to both discredit Democrats and elect Republicans than he has over

The New York Times faced a backlash Thursday after it’s only source for a negative story on former Texas governor Rick Perry accused them of taking his remarks out of context. The Times reported Wednesday evening that when Perry accepted Donald Trump‘s nomination for the Secretary of Energy position, he “initially misunderstood” what the job even was. “Mr. Perry gladly accepted, believing he was taking on a role as a global ambassador for the American oil and gas industry that he had long championed in his home state,” they wrote. “In the days after, Mr. Perry… discovered that he would

Michelle Obama looked unimpressed during the inauguration of Donald Trump as 45th President of the United States – summing up the mood among critics of the controversial billionaire who was sworn in at a ceremony on Capitol Hill. Eyebrow raised, the former first lady stood and watched as Mr Trump recited the 35-word oath. Her dour facial expression prompted an immediate reaction on social media, with one person saying that her evident displeasure at the New York tycoon becoming the most powerful man on the planet “spoke for all of us”. One image showed Ms Obama – who has been

So far, first lady Melania Trump´s inaugural weekend wardrobe has been the epitome of powerfully feminine.  Trump arrived at St. John's Church on Friday morning in a baby blue Ralph Lauren cashmere bolero jacket with a high cowl neck, and matching sheath and gloves. (So Jackie O. In fact, Jacqueline Kennedy wore a sky-blue suit to her husband's inauguration.) Trump's shoulder-length tresses were pulled into a soft bun. Her cheeks were rosy.
