Don´t mess with CNN. That´s the unvarnished version of a message that the network´s president, Jeff Zucker, delivered to President-elect Donald Trump in an interview published on Thursday by New York magazine. "One of the things I think this administration hasn’t figured out yet is that there’s only one television network that is seen in Beijing, Moscow, Seoul, Tokyo, Pyongyang, Baghdad, Tehran and Damascus — and that’s CNN," Zucker said. "The perception of Donald Trump in capitals around the world is shaped, in many ways, by CNN. Continuing to have an adversarial relationship with that network is a mistake."

I am no stranger to protesting, having marched so often in the sixties and seventies that I sometimes felt as if I were chanting "Hey, hey, LBJ" in my sleep. But I have come to think over the years that too much demonstrating can get to be a bad habit, like smoking. Now I´m not talking here about the Gloria Steinems and Michael Moores, for whom protest is so much a way of life they couldn´t exist without it. Or the Madonnas who, like other entertainment stalwarts, have business reasons for constantly reminding us they are still have their "edge" even

Most of the 230 rioters arrested after violent protests erupted in Washington D.C. following Donald Trump´s inauguration will be charged with felony rioting, federal prosecutors said on Saturday. The charge carries a punishment of up to ten years in jail and a $25,000 fine. Thousand of protesters launched a violent rampage just blocks away from the White House as anti-Trump demonstrators smashed store windows, set fire to cars and threw bricks at police. Scroll down for videos (Photos) Many of those arrested are due to appear in court on Saturday, according to WUSA 9. Heated clashes broke out in McPherson

A confidential David Brock memo obtained by the Washington Free Beacon lays out the ways the Democratic operative plans to use his numerous organizations to take down President Donald Trump through impeachment. Brock is currently at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Fla. for a weekend conference with more than 100 major liberal donors. Attendees are mapping out a course to combat the newly sworn-in president. According to the private and confidential memo, Brock plans to defeat Trump “through impeachment,” using American Bridge, his liberal super PAC, as the main vehicle to do so. “No other progressive organization has the resources and assets

Arizona Sen. John McCain on Sunday said he´s still uncertain about whether President Trump will lead a successful administration. Asked if he has "confidence" in America´s new commander in chief, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee twice said: "I do not know." "I do not know because has made so many comments that are contradictory," McCain told ABC´s George Stephanopoulos. "But I think the fact that he´s appointed and nominated these outstanding individuals is bound to be an encouraging sign," he continued. "I trust them and have worked with them over many years." Former President Barack Obama looked to be in deep thought as he headed home from a workout, escorted by his smallest motorcade in years. The nation´s 44th president has chosen to spend the first days of his newfound retirement playing golf and hitting the gym at Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. Obama was captured looking tiresome and in heavy contemplation as he was driven back to his home in a dark vehicle, flanked by his tiny new security detail on Sunday. He seemed to be in better spirits on Saturday when he was driving around a golf cart at the ultra-exclusive

Television is a brutal business, and so is politics. Both can be great for the winners, but for the losers, humiliation, financial stress, and worst of all, obscurity beckon, like a career version of the Grim Reaper. The upheaval of the 2016 election is being matched by the turmoil in cable news. Among the punditry, one the biggest losers is George Will, the syndicated political commentator who openly hoped for a 50 state sweep by Hillary Clinton, so obnoxious in his eyes was Donald Trump. His post-election appearances as a Special Report panelist have been awkward enough that Fox News made
