Democratic ´army of lawyers´ heads
to Florida amid GOP fears of bid
to ´steal´ Senate seat

Democrats are gearing up for a titanic legal fight over what could be multiple recounts in the state of Florida - 18 years after the state´s ramshackle voting system delayed the election of President George W. Bush for 37 days. In the balance are the governor´s mansion and one U.S. Senate seat, which Republicans believed they had secured on Tuesday. Just 17,429 out of 8,165,741 votes cast in the Senate race separate the GOP´s Gov. Rick Scott, who is leading, from Sen. Bill Nelson, the Democratic incumbent. In the governor´s race, Ron DeSantis, a former GOP congressman, leads Andrew Gillum,

I´m having a big "Al Frankin" flashback right now.

If at first you don´t win at the polls "find" enough votes to declare victory!

Worked every time for uncle Joe too.

Many people have allowed known lawbreaker Snipes to remain in charge of Broward elections. A circuit court judge ruled in 2018 that Broward County Election Supervisor Snipes broke federal and state law by too quickly destroying ballots from August 2016 primaries--there was a pending lawsuit seeking access to the ballots. This is public knowledge but no GOP official demanded she be removed. She´s had the job since 2003. Why does the GOP exist? To sit around and have ´fears?´

Here´s your first test, AG Whitaker. May be considered an over reach by some but what is more sacred than the sanctity of the vote? When that is lost USA is done.

I remember in Fla during the Bush, Gore, debacle, where they had video of a Communist democrat precinct captain counting computer voting cards that were not punched as votes for Gore.

She said right there on video she was counting and reporting these votes as Gore votes even if it meant she would go to jail for doing so.

You can bet your boots that if the Democrats can, they will steal the Senate seat, as with the Democrats the end justifies the hook or by crook means they will use. Will the Republicans allow that to happen?

Why is it that when we have these recounts, they count, count, and recount, then suddenly when enough Dem votes appear, it´s over and official? I certainly hope the Republicans are sending equal numbers of lawyers.

It’s tough to tell. Does this make the shutdown a bug … or a feature? Nancy Pelosi has asked Donald Trump to put off his State of the Union speech to the joint session of Congress until after the funding issues have been resolved: (Copy of Letter/Tweet) And with that, the new Speaker of the House just made the best case possible for a perpetual shutdown. Kidding! What I meant to say was that Nancy Pelosi has finally sounded a note of wisdom, at least in her reminder that presidents used to just deliver a report in writing to Congress.

Well, here we are again; another leaked transcript, this time from DOJ Official Bruce Ohr. And as with the prior two transcript leaks, we don’t get the raw information. So let me first, necessarily, reassert our CTH position on these “leaks”. Leaking is bad, period; in all directions. Because *leaking* is simply a method, a mechanism, to direct and control the focus of sunlight upon illicit action. Regardless of whether you support or oppose the message within any individual leak; the leak itself does not expose corruption…. only full and unfiltered information can expose corruption. That means we need the

While Democratic leadership holds the line, apparently refusing to come to the table to negotiate, the resolve of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in holding out might not be trickling down into the freshman class. A number of newly-sworn-in Democrats have reportedly voiced frustration with the leaders within their own party, suggesting that they might be willing to at least open the door to negotiate and see what kind of a deal could result. Democratic New York Rep. Max Rose says he’s ready to get to work, and his first order of business is to

Two left-wing political commentators with CNN complained about President Donald Trump’s alleged sexism Monday over a joke he’d made earlier in the evening to the players of the Clemson Tigers college football team. Following the team’s recent victory in the College Football Playoff National Championship, the president took to Twitter to invite the team to the White House to celebrate. I look forward to hosting, right out of the great State of South Carolina, the 2019 NCAA Football Champion Clemson Tigers at the White House on Monday, January 14th. U.S. troops were among those killed Wednesday in an attack in northern Syria, the U.S. military has confirmed to CBS News. The U.S.-led coalition in Syria, Operation Inherent Resolve, confirmed in a tweet that, "U.S. service members were killed during an explosion while conducting a routine patrol in Syria today." A U.S. military official confirmed separately to CBS News senior national defense correspondent David Martin reports by Kurdish media outlets that at least two Americans were among the dead in the city of Manbij, not far from the Turkish border, after an explosion hit a coalition convoy. Walls work where ever they are built — including in 77 countries. 2.) Democrats don’t care about open borders or the drug crisis or the crime by illegal aliens. The tweets had over 50,000 likes in two hours. Someone at Twitter must have forgotten to push the shadow-ban button during shift change. Second Lady Karen Pence started a new job this week - teaching art to elementary students at a religious school that bans homosexuals and transgender children. Pence, Vice President Mike Pence´s wife, began teaching art on Tuesday to children enrolled at Immanuel Christian School in Northern Virginia. Mrs. Pence accepted the job in December and was to have rebooted her teaching career on Monday. But classes were canceled after a heavy weekend snowfall across the Washington region. Her office says she´ll teach twice a week until May. (Photo) Mrs. Pence was a teacher for 25 years, including 12 teaching art at

Has President Trump suckered Democrats and the Deep State into a trap that will enable a radical downsizing of the federal bureaucracy? In only 5 more days of the already-“longest government shutdown in history” (25 days and counting, as of today), a heretofore obscure threshold will be reached, enabling permanent layoffs of bureaucrats furloughed 30 days or more. Don’t believe me that federal bureaucrats can be laid off? Well, in bureaucratese, a layoff is called a RIF – a Reduction in Force (snip) if the guidelines are followed, bureaucrats can be laid off -- as in no more job

Gillette´s new ad, browbeating men through a #MeToo and "toxic masculinity" pitch, supposedly to persuade men to buy their razors, is so revolting it´s possible to think it´s satire. There is also a 30-second version, which doesn´t even seem to be about selling razors: Seriously, did a spy from Schick get into the Procter & Gamble´s advertising agency and concoct an ad very sure to turn potential customers off? Who would want to buy that after such a string of insults? Isn´t ad rule number one to not insult the customer? Well, this one does.

In recent days, many online essays have rightly ripped apart Gillette´s ugly new "We Believe" advertisement. One online critic dubbed it "feel-bad liberalism." "The guy at the ad agency" is actually philosophically unpleasant feminist Kim Gehrig. A stench has been emanating from the J. Edgar Hoover Building (FBI headquarters) for over two years. It landed Saturday on the front page of the New York Times in an article citing “former law enforcement officials” claiming they had to deal with “explosive implications” that President Donald Trump was “knowingly” or “unwittingly” working for Russia. Thus, the story goes, there was a basis to begin the Russia collusion investigation. In fact, “The Gray Lady” was covering the derrieres of the Obama administration officials involved in the cabal to frame Trump, who now fear an imminent Special Counsel finding that

Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday asked President Donald Trump to reschedule his State of the Union address — or deliver it in writing — as long as the government remains shut down. "Sadly, given the security concerns and unless government re-opens this week, I suggest that we work together to determine another suitable date after government has re-opened for this address or for you to consider delivering your State of the Union address in writing to the Congress on January 29th," Pelosi wrote in a letter to Trump.
