The Key to Trump´s

Who would have thought a real estate developer from New York City, famous for plastering his name in big letters on his buildings, would be a champion in foreign policy? Big surprise: It turns out that being confident, tough, and aggressive works well for a president dealing with dangerous pipsqueaks like ISIS and North Korea. Trump isn´t intimidated by anybody. Not by business rivals, not by critics, not by rogue FBI agents, not by foreign leaders. Certainly not by failed experts who urge meekness, caution, and limited goals. Our president is devoted to one thing: winning for America. He does listen to

When every last Trudeau eyebrow has been scraped off the floor of the Manoir Richelieu, it´s worth remembering that the divisions in the G7 are not quite as straightforward as the media would have us believe. For one thing, it´s not G6 vs Trump; there´s another disrupter in town: Just met the new Prime Minister of Italy, @GiuseppeConteIT, a really great guy. He will be honored in Washington, at the @WhiteHouse, shortly. Joy Behar, co-host of “The View,” confessed Tuesday that she injured her hand while cutting an avocado and was hospitalized as a result. “Saturday night, on my way to the event at the retreat, I stabbed myself in the hand with a knife,” Behar, who was missing from Monday’s broadcast, said on “The View” Tuesday. “I was trying to desperately eat something, so I was trying to open up an avocado and I stuck the knife into the pit to get it out … and I stabbed myself,” she said. Behar added that her doctor said the injury was common and has

President Donald Trump’s forging of a historic peace-making deal with North Korea’s despot Kim Jong-un — formerly known in White House lingo as “little rocket man” — has the leftists of the country up in arms because, to put it bluntly, it’s getting harder and harder for them to sell their hate. They’re actually having to admit Trump is not half as bad as they tried to paint. That whole resistance movement is starting to crumble and along with it, the Democratic Party’s main campaign plank — the one that went, “Vote for Us: We’re Not Trump.” Next thing you know, the only

In the end, it wasn’t the Appalachian Trail that brought down Mark Sanford. It was President Donald Trump. The South Carolina congressman’s stunning defeat in Tuesday’s Republican primary effectively ended the turbulent two-decade career of a political icon who once harbored presidential aspirations. From his time as a congressman in the 1990s, to his eight-year governorship, to his unexpected House comeback that followed, Sanford had long established himself as a figure who cut against the grain — the rare politician who loved to break with his own party. Yet in taking on Trump, his friends and political allies say, he took it

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Rudy Giuliani cheated on his wife with a married New Hampshire hospital administrator, multiple sources told The Post. The mayor-turned-presidential lawyer, 74, and Maria Rosa Ryan, 53, began their affair before he and wife Judith Nathan separated last month — and Nathan filed for divorce five days after the pair was spotted getting cozy at a resort hotel in the Granite State. Giuliani, who has recently been the face of President Trump’s legal team, denied the affair to The Post Tuesday after it broke the story of his relationship with Ryan. He acknowledged that he and Ryan had dinner and

On Tuesday, President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ended their historic summit in Singapore with a handshake and the joint signing of a vague but important document. In said document, Trump agreed to provide security guarantees to North Korea. Kim recommitted himself to "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula." Whether or not these agreements will hold remains to be seen. But another pertinent process to observe in the wake of this meeting is the loosening of Kim´s shadow self, and the unleashing onto the world of the political leader he wishes to be. Kim wants to transform into

Zero hour was approaching for the law-abiding gun owners of Deerfield, Illinois. The village had banned the ownership of so-called assault weapons, which in reality meant AR-15 rifles and any other firearm that carried a detachable magazine capable of holding ten or more rounds. That’s how Deerfield defined a so-called assault weapon. (Snip for tweet) On June 13, the anti-gun ordinance passed by the Chicago suburb would have gone into effect. It was essentially a gun ban, and there were no exceptions. It’s either you turn them over, move, or risk facing a $250-$1,000/ day noncompliance fee. Yeah, the AR-15

Negative Nancy Pelosi bummed

Is Nancy Pelosi a secret agent for the Republican Party? Sometimes you have to wonder. Her latest outburst, in which she derides the accelerating economy and declining unemployment, is so nonsensical that it demeans Democrats’ credibility, shows them to be remarkably out of touch with average Americans and underscores the poverty of their competing platform. It isn’t the first time Pelosi has given GOP candidates rich fodder for ridicule; remember how she compared thousand-dollar bonuses to “crumbs?” That’s a clip that will show well in midterm campaign ads. Pelosi’s latest Twitter sensation came amidst her weekly press conference, at which she

WASHINGTON — After frenzied late-night negotiations, Speaker Paul D. Ryan defused a moderate Republican rebellion on Tuesday with a promise to hold high-stakes votes on immigration next week, thrusting the divisive issue onto center stage during a difficult election season for Republicans. The move by Mr. Ryan, announced late Tuesday by his office, was something of a defeat for the rebellious immigration moderates, who fell two signatures short of the 218 needed to force the House to act this month on bipartisan measures aimed more directly at helping young immigrants brought to the country illegally

In a monumental upset fueled by a Donald Trump tweet, U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford lost his Republican primary to Katie Arrington, a one-term state lawmaker who made loyalty to the president the centerpiece of her campaign. The defeat, which carries national implications, marks the first time Sanford has lost an election, which began with his first congressional bid in this very district in 1994. President Trump — making a move unprecedented in South Carolina history — in a late afternoon tweet asked state voters to replace Sanford with Arrington, going so far as to say Sanford is "better off in

The campaign kept a live blog of its three-day RV trip across the Show-Me State from May 29 to May 31, posting updates of its whereabouts. And McCaskill heavily touted the trip

If a majority of voters who cast ballots agree, a long and contentious process would begin for three separate states to take the place of California, with one primarily centered around Los Angeles and the other two divvying up the counties to the north and south. Mixing politics and business is bad business. Just ask the NFL.But that isn’t stopping the credit service, Intuit, from taking a stance against the Constitution. Intuit, without warning, ceased processing credit card payments at firearm-related businesses across the country, resulting in small businesses scrambling to track down customers to get them to pay their bills. Intuit maintains its actions are justified because the company has a “face-to-face” policy prohibiting firearms from being directly sold to customers, the New York Post reports. However, many of the guns businesses sold were sent to federally-licensed firearms dealers

Polls close in South Carolina at 7 p.m. eastern time, and anti-Trump Rep. and former Governor Mark Sanford (R-SC) is facing a fierce primary challenge from pro-Trump candidate Katie Arrington. Trump endorsed Arrington hours before polls closed, saying Sanford would be “better off in Argentina,” a reference to the time in 2009 when Sanford’s staff claimed Sanford was hiking the “Appalachian trail” when he was actually having an affair with an Argentinian journalist

Chicago — With frustration mounting over lawmakers’ inaction on gun control, the American Medical Association on Tuesday pressed for a ban on assault weapons and came out against arming teachers as a way to fight what it calls a public health crisis. At its annual policymaking meeting, the nation’s largest physicians group bowed to unprecedented demands from doctor-members to take a stronger stand on gun violence - a problem the organizations says is as menacing as a lethal infectious disease. The action comes against a backdrop of recurrent school shootings, everyday street violence in the nation’s inner cities, and rising
