The human race has peaked, with mankind reaching its maximum limits for height, lifespan and physical performance, scientists have claimed. Despite stories that each generation will live longer and longer, a new report suggests there may be a maximum threshold to our biological limits that we cannot exceed. In particular, the French research team behind the study found what appears to be a plateau in the maximum biological limits for humans´ height, age and physical abilities. "These traits no longer increase, despite further continuous nutritional, medical, and scientific progress," said Professor Jean-François Toussaint from Paris Descartes University.

On Wednesday Congress testified in front of the House Intelligence Committee for seven hours over his 20 minute meeting with a Russian lawyer paid by Fusion GPS during the 2016 election. Democrat Representative Adam Schiff of California leaked information from the hearing after the president’s son testimony.Trump Jr. spoke with the Russian operative from Fusion GPS in June 2016 and then met with his father a year later in July 2017. Democrats wanted him to tell them about this meeting in 2017 which he refused. On Thursday Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) spoke with America’s Newsroom about Don Jr.’s marathon testimony.

A whistleblower told Rep Ron DeSantis that he witnessed a senior FBI executive suggest the FBI had a personal motive and targeted Flynn with the purpose of ruining his career. A video of this exchange between FBI brass and agents commenting on ruining Flynn’s career may exist. (Snip)Hannity and Carter also suggest Flynn may have been tricked into having the interview with Strzok without a lawyer. According to another source, with direct knowledge of the Jan. 24 interview, McCabe had contacted Flynn by phone directly at the White House. TAMPA — Investigators had questions for the parents of Howell Emanuel Donaldson III, the suspect in four Seminole Heights killings. They wanted to ask Howell Jr. and Rosita Donaldson about their 24-year-old son’s background, developmental history, gun possession and state of mind. But both parents refused to answer Tuesday, defying an investigative subpoena, according to the Hillsborough State Attorney’s Office. They revealed only the names, addresses and birth dates of family members before refusing to answer other questions. "That is a rarity," State Attorney Andrew Warren said at a Wednesday news conference. "Because most people understand that they have a duty to answer

The return of powerful winds Thursday pushed the destructive Ventura County fire closer to several communities, prompting new evacuations. Communities both on the coast and inland were under threat. At 4 a.m., officials closed the 101 Freeway between Routes 126 and 150. According to the California Highway Patrol, that left no open routes between Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. The Thomas fire has scorched about 90,000 acres and carved a path of destruction that stretches more than 10 miles from Santa Paula to the Pacific Ocean. As flames raged toward neighborhoods in Ojai, Carpinteria and Fillmore, officials issued new evacuation

PORT RICHEY — A Pasco County Sheriff’s Office helicopter was helping deputies on the ground Tuesday night when the pilots said they were blinded by a red laser aimed at them from below. "I got a guy lasering us pretty bad," Deputy Stephen Bowman said in a cockpit video released by the agency. He was the co-pilot and Tim Bullis was the pilot of the Bell OH-58 helicopter. Whoever was pointing the laser wasn’t letting up, the Sheriff’s Office said, and there were no deputies on the ground free to drive over and put a stop to it. So the pilots did it

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science announced Wednesday that it has adopted its first code of conduct for its 8,427 members. Film academy chief executive Dawn Hudson introduced the new rules to members in an email. In October, the academy broke with tradition and made Harvey Weinstein just the second person ever expelled from the Oscars’ governing body. The new code of conduct stipulates that the academy is no place for “people who abuse their status, power or influence in a manner that violates standards of decency.” The academy’s board may now suspend or expel those who violate

In the last 12 months US backed combat operations drove ISIS from its last bits of territory; America withdrew from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, UNESCO, the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The House and Senate have come within sight of overhauling the tax code and dismantling Obamacare. Most recently Donald Trump in a spectacular departure from his predecessor´s Middle Eastern diplomacy has moved the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. It is as if a hurricane has swept through Washington. Each fallen pillar represents a very deliberate reversal of the status quo ante policies of Barack Obama. The entire edifice the former

The often desperate measures foreigners take to enter our borders—crossing deserts being packed into trucks, and surviving unspeakable brutalities—rightly provoke our anger and evoke our pity. Because of the pathos involved in this kind of illegal entry, we often overlook the fact that there is a far safer and common way for would-be illegals to enter our country. It is a method of entry that should produce even more anger and disgust because of its blatant opportunism; even as it is more likely to result in arrangements that could be mutually profitable. Some enterprising persons (both foreigners and citizens) have

Former FBI Director James Comey is tweeting about justice and liberty. He accompanies his tweets with creepy selfies, and the context suggests he is colluding with his conflicted friend, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, in spirit if not in practice. Opinion columns heralding the intensification of Mueller’s investigation now flow like mighty rivers carrying with them a new toxic debris: in place of the once vaunted “Russian collusion” is now the paltry charge of obstruction of justice. We all know the Left’s narrative. When President Trump asked Comey if he could go easy on Flynn for lying to the FBI and then subsequently

Don´t feud with Donald Trump. Too many have and wound up worse for wear. I gave 26 examples. No. 27 may be Robert Mueller, who has wasted the last seven months trying to frame President Trump. Mueller has nothing -- and is losing his reputation. Trump cannot fire Mueller. That would make him a martyr. On July 21, I wrote: President Trump needs to fire Robert Mueller -- but in a manner in which his enemies in Congress do not turn around and hire the Big Leak back. Trump has to make Mueller too toxic to touch. The plan is to investigate the investigator. And that

Groping for a way to move Democrats a seat closer to taking the Senate, Al Franken may be taking one for the team by resigning for being an ass. As I outlined last month, Franken would resign to try to hurt Republican Judge Roy Moore´s chances in next week´s Senate election in Alabama. A Democratic governor will appoint Franken´s successor for a net gain of one seat for Democrats. At 66, Franken has only 8 years seniority and has no prospects to be in Senate leadership. It is either run for president -- ha! -- or play the string out. Trump came

Not only is President Trump´s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and begin the process of moving the U.S. embassy there one of the boldest moves of his presidency. It is one of the boldest moves any U.S. president has made since the beginning of the Oslo "peace process" in 1993. That process collapsed at Camp David in 2000 when Yasir Arafat rejected President Clinton´s offer of a Palestinian state. And the process has been moribund ever since, despite multiple attempts to restart it.That is why the warnings from Trump critics that his decision may wreck the

Mideast: Despite a firestorm of protests, President Trump says he will recognize Jerusalem as Israel´s capital and eventually move the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv. Consider it another Trump promise kept. Presidents of both parties have promised for years to recognize Jerusalem as Israel´s capital. Yet, somehow complications inevitably arose — "Europe" claimed it would "complicate" peace talks, or the Palestinians said it would make peace impossible, or radical Islamists threatened unrest and terrorism by the "Arab Street" in response to the provocation. So no president, Democrat or Republican, ever truly, officially recognized Israel´s capital for what it plainly was: the
