The belated attempt by the left to cover their hypocrisy on sexual predators by throwing Bill and Hillary Clinton under the bus now that they have no further political use for them is staggering. They forget their mantra that his being serviced by Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office was personal and didn’t matter as long as he was doing a good job as President. It was the GOP, you know, that was waging a war on women.Republicans were the predators, as serial accuser and so-called feminist lawyer Gloria Allred reminded us when she appeared with a box of tissue

Finally, after four and a half years, harassment of conservative groups by the Obama IRS is put to rest, with the media downplaying the story.A William McGurn column in the Wall Street Journal, November 21, stated that IRS-Tea Party litigation had been settled. A New York Times story on October 27, 2017 reported that the government, in one lawsuit involving 428 groups, "agreed to a multimillion-dollar settlement," and that, in a second lawsuit comprising 41 groups, damages will not be paid, "but the I.R.S. acknowledged its conduct was wrong." It is not clear why the matter dragged on four and

Robert Mugabe´s former right-hand man, Emmerson Mnangagwa, will be sworn in as interim President on Friday, a day after Mugabe and his wife were granted immunity, allowing the couple to remain in the country. Mugabe resigned on Tuesday, in a historic moment that brought his 37 years of oppressive rule to an end. Mnangagwa, returned to the country on Wednesday to take the reins, promising to lead the nation into a "new and unfolding democracy." He spoke in front of throngs of supporters, but made no mention of Mugabe´s future. Col. Overson Mugwisi, a spokesman for the Zimbabwean Defense Forces,

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Ensley Park Recreation Center was beginning to come to life. The song “Happy” and other upbeat tunes boomed through the loudspeakers. And a crowd was gathering for a chance to glimpse something rarely seen in conservative Alabama: a surging Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate. But Donald Williams was skeptical. Realistic political analysts have always believed that their dominance of mainstream media has always added to the vote totals of Democrats and progressives. President Trump´s excoriation of fake news is an attempt to lessen that advantage by helping credibility erode faster than ever from the major media outlets. But now a different kind of threat is emerging, and we can expect screams of outrage if a couple of billionaires follow through on moves being hinted at. Following the example of Jeff Bezos´s bargain-basement purchase of the Washington Post, a couple of major media properties may fall into conservative hands and

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I´m thankful Barack Obama is no longer the president. Eight years of his droning superior apologizing for America was approximately eight years more than enough. I´m thankful Hillary Clinton will never be president. The lies, the corruption, the incompetence — bye. I´m thankful my fears about Donald Trump seem to have been unfounded. Not a fascist. Not a secret liberal. Not an incompetent. ISIS is defeated. GDP at 3% plus. Some 60 great originalist judges nominated. Regulations cut back at an amazing rate. Our lying leftist press humiliated and discredited. I´m thankful because, whenever I get tired of watching an

It´s too early to count chickens, to be sure, but there´s hope that Saudi Arabia may transform itself from a pre-modern tribal entity into an Arab nation-state in pursuit of modernization, and from a major (if not the major) source of terrorist financing to an American ally willing to find a modus vivendi with Israel. I hailed Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman´s purge of corrupt and rogue family elements as an unsung success of the Trump Administration in this space Nov. 14. WASHINGTON — Wherever I go, people ask me the same question: “How can he?” How can Kevin support President Trump? Why isn’t he bothered by all the things others find appalling and frightening? Thanksgiving weekend is here, so it’s time for my Republican brother to share his bounteous harvest of thoughts: Every time I hear Neil Gorsuch’s name, I smile. It has been a year since Donald Trump was elected, and his thrill-a-minute White House is still causing acid reflux for half the country and all of the mainstream media. There is always a lot of background noise buzzing around the president,

Ankara, Turkey - The United States will cut off its supply of arms to Kurdish fighters in Syria, President Donald Trump told the Turkish president on Friday, in a move sure to please Turkey but further alienate Syrian Kurds who bore much of the fight against the Islamic State group. In a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trump said he’d “given clear instructions” that the Kurds will receive no more weapons — “and that this nonsense should have ended a long time ago,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. The White House confirmed the move in a cryptic statement about the phone call that said Trump

MOSCOW — For months, President Vladimir V. Putin has predictably denied accusations of Russian interference in last year’s American election, denouncing them as fake news fueled by Russophobic hysteria. More surprising, some of Mr. Putin’s biggest foes in Russia, notably pro-Western liberals who look to the United States as an exemplar of democratic values and journalistic excellence, are now joining a chorus of protest over America’s fixation with Moscow’s meddling in its political affairs. “Enough already!” Leonid M. Recent pics of Malia Obama showed her kissing a tall, athletically-built white male who was most likely a fellow university student. It seems normal enough, right? She’s a young woman, he’s a young man – so what’s the problem? Well, apparently many in the Black community find what she did to be an appalling act of…racism. The onslaught of negativity directed at the daughter of the former President is both shocking and troubling. Why do so many choose to see the world through the narrow prism of color and then demand that color requires one to never deviate from their “rules”
