CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer confronted a Hamas spokesman on Monday, demanding that he address previous claims he made that Jews killed Christians to use their blood in the baking of matzos. (Snip) ´´We all remember how the Jews used to slaughter Christians in order to mix their blood with their holy matzos. This is not a figment of the imagination or something taken from a film; it is a fact acknowledged by their own books and historical evidence." Blitzer then asked Hamdan, "You believe that Jews would kill Christians to mix their blood to bake the holy matzos on Passover?

Appearing on CNN Tonight Monday evening, Breitbart News senior editor-at-large Ben Shapiro blasted the left-wing network for its anti-Israel coverage over the past three-plus weeks of Israel´s war of self defense against Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Just as National Review´s Lee Habeeb did Monday morning, Shapiro again proved that CNN has no answer for its indefensible behavior … other than straw men. Ben Shapiro: "If Hamas could come up with any sort of outlet that could have created a will to kill more Jewish babies and Palestinian babies, CNN would have been it. CNN is a key factor in drawing the same sort of equivalence

Border Surge: The open-border lobby´s argument that the illegals pouring in are just refugees from violence is crumbling. A CBP paper shows border crossers are rolling in from 75 nations. Economics, not gangs, is driving them. Justifying the Central American surge on our unguarded border as a flight from intolerable homeland violence, the political left has attempted to paint this year´s 240,000-person influx of illegal aliens into the U.S. as a matter of refugees — and anyone who opposes the human flood tide as heartless. Their pictures of women and toddlers tug on the heartstrings. It´s rubbish. The border surge is mainly

She had already lost two infant children and had just lived through the upheaval of the Civil War in Macon, Ga. But when 17-year-old LeRoy, know as “Loy,” died on June 18 in the house where he was born, she was devastated. “God has tried me often and in many ways but never has my heart been so wrung as now,” she wrote to her sister, Sallie, on July 12. “And yet the trial had so much mercy mixed with it that my soul swells within me when I think it all over.” Last week, Mary Gresham’s moving letter was

Once upon a time an American family’s home was their castle and the bigger the better, but growing concerns about meeting mortgage payments and the environmental impact of large houses has helped fuel a new movement of people who are happy to live small. The Tiny House Movement is a growing group of people who are happy to downsize the space that they live in and enjoy simplified lives as a result. While the average American home is around 2600 square feet, the typical small or tiny house is around 100-400 square feet. Scroll down for video -Large homes come

British Airways announced Tuesday that it has temporarily suspended flights to and from Liberia and Sierra Leone, two of the West African nations afflicted with the Ebola outbreak. The suspension will remain in place until the end of August, “due to the deteriorating public health situation in both countries,” the airline said in a statement. “The safety of our customers, crew and ground teams is always our top priority and we will keep the route under constant review in the coming weeks.” The airline is offering customers who already have tickets along those routes a full refund and the ability to re-book flights at a later date.

“She was pretty unhinged,” Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) told Breitbart News about House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi in his first print interview since the California Democrat confronted the Republican lawmaker in a startling altercation on the House floor last week. The incident was so heated that Marino said the Sergeant-at-Arms of the House of Representatives had to remove Pelosi—with help from others—from the floor. Marino had taken to the House floor to make a statement during the House’s debate on two immigration bills, during which he criticized House Democrats—who were in the majority for the first two years of President Obama’s

In postmodern wars, we are told, there is no victory, no defeat, no aggressors, no defenders, just a tragedy of conflicting agendas. But in such a mindless and amoral landscape, Israel in fact is on its way to emerging in a far better position after the Gaza war than before. Analysts of the current fighting in Gaza have assured us that even if Israel weakens Hamas, such a short-term victory will hardly lead to long-term strategic success — but they don’t define “long-term.” In this line of thinking, supposedly in a few weeks Israel will only find itself more isolated than

(Video) While no one wants to perpetuate the humanitarian crisis happening on our border, as the trucker in this video shows, the immigration system in America has gone beyond the point of broken. And as hard as it is to accept for pro-illegal immigration advocates, a chaotic, completely unregulated immigration system hurts illegal immigrants as well as American citizens. And there’s no doubt that the system is broken and chaotic. These stats make that very clear: According to the Department of Homeland Security’s last report on the number of illegal immigrants residing in the US, there are an estimated 11.5

Even in death, you can’t escape the property bubble. From New York to London, growing populations are competing with the deceased for land, driving up real-estate costs well into the afterlife. In Asian megacities, where cremation is the norm, even space for urns is in short supply. “At the end of the day, it’s like any other piece of real estate,” says Amy Cunningham, a New York state licensed funeral director. “Prices have conspired to put burials out of the range of most people’s budgets.” Every week, about 1,000 New Yorkers die. Manhattan is running out of room for them.

CIA Director Brennan Should Resign

CIA director John Brennan did the right thing Thursday in apologizing to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) for CIA monitoring of computers being used by the committee’s staff for an investigation of the Bush-era enhanced-interrogation program. Nevertheless, heads must roll at the CIA over this scandal, including Brennan’s. While what the CIA did was not illegal, its actions were the result of reckless decisions by agency officials in response to misconduct by SSCI staff members. The CIA should have handled this matter by raising it quietly with SSCI chairwoman Dianne Feinstein.

He was found dead early on Tuesday at the Riken institute where he worked in Kobe, Japan, police and the institute said. "It is confirmed as a suicide," said a police spokesman. "It was a hanging." WASHINGTON -- Senate and House incumbents in Kansas, Michigan and Missouri are trying to beat back challengers Tuesday in the kickoff to a busy month of primaries. Voters in Washington state consider the qualifications of a dozen candidates vying to replace a two-decade congressional Republican who is retiring. In Kansas, three-term Republican Sen. An Army two-star general was killed on Tuesday when a man in an Afghan military uniform turned his weapon on western troops, the New York Times reported. Details of the attack — including the name of the major general — were not immediately available. Initial reports indicate the man also wounded 15 people, among them a German brigadier general and "about a dozen" Americans, authorities said. Tuesday’s attack at The Marshal Fahim National Defense University, a facility near Kabul, could potentially be the largest insider attack since April 2011, when an Afghan colonel killed eight airmen and one contractor.

The Central Intelligence Agency spied on the Senate, and CIA Director John Brennan lied about it. When the news broke, several senators, including Democrats, called for the director´s resignation. It seems unlikely Brennan can survive, but on Friday, President Barack Obama gave him a vote of confidence at his brief news conference. In fact, Obama answered a shouted-out question after having already taken the “last” question, suggesting that the Brennan situation was one of the reasons he held the briefing.1 So why would Obama want to go out of his way to publicly support a CIA director he

Given the Marxist misery the Obama regime is spreading like farmer’s manure on their way to Utopia, legions have long suspected that the Democrats own a monopoly on evil. But recent antics of their star performers Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid et al may indicate that they’re plain crazy too. Barack Hussein Obama, who has recently taken up repeating “The Bear is Loose’ during his random, royal walkabouts in lunchtime D.C., must have been thinking of Nancy Pelosi, who came on like a screeching banshee, not once but twice chasing down Republican Representative Tom Marino of Pennsylvania through the House Chamber.

This is especially so for disastrous presidencies like Obama´s.
